"Maybe just scare him with a near miss." Lex smirked, watching them flee before turning to his companions, "You two okay?" He kept his concerns that he may have just made his family shop a target for retribution to himself, but did add," I think it's time I move the workshop and separate work and family. Any ideas?"

Vivian rolls her eyes at the cliched retort and turns to Lex, nodding. "I'm fine. They never even got close." Vivian grins at Lex, clearly proud of herself. When Lex poses his question, Vivian thinks it over and nods, "That's probably a good idea. It'll keep people from accidentally discovering your workshop."

"Depends on how far out of the way you folks reckon to set your shop. Figure you need power? On the electric lines?" The Rider asks. "If so's, you'll need to get a place in town. Otherwise reckon your best shot's to get a place in the countryside."

"Like to keep it in the city, close enough I don't have to travel much between shop and bakery." Lex replied, resetting his forearm blades. "Out at the old hunting camp would be ideal, but to far to travel all the time, not that I've been getting much done lately." He sighed slightly, "Lets go, the police should soon show up to make a mess of things. Boys, would a drink ever hit the spot about now."

"You've got a hunting camp?" The Rider gets onto his cycle. "Maybe you and I can make a deal - I got a property you can use...if you're willing to let me use your camp once in a while."

"My father's old place is a couple hours out of town," Lex nodded. "That's where honed the lady's bow skills and I try out new ideas. Don't see any harm in you using it from time to time."

Vivian gives Lex a sharp look when he mentions he wants a drink but simply nods and says, "We really should get out of here. We can settle this in a more secure location."

"Good point kiddo," Lex replied, and started to turn towards his hidden truck, but stopped as he saw the look on Vivian's face and asked, " What?"

The Rider, Lex and Viv return to Lex's storeroom in short order.
"Well, that's a fun night." The Rider grins and looks to Vivian. "Though it's still young and I know this excellent party we can go to..."

Lex shook his head slightly, the looked at Rider and Vivian," You two kids go have a good time. I need to get back to the bakery and get ready for tomorrow morning. How soon do you think I can move the shop? My father worked out of the same workshop for years, but things are getting a little too with the folks from home trying to muscle in too, It will soon be as crazy here as on the Boardwalk or in Windy City."

"Probably a couple days. I'll be in touch." The Rider smiles.

"Works for me, providing I can get some time alone to pack up..., " Lex smirked. " Now you two run along and enjoy your party. You know where to find me." He climbed in his truck and started it up

Vivian shakes her head, "I need to head back home before mother or father discover I've snuck out again." She then starts climbing into Lex's truck.

"Sorry Rider, guess you're on your own. You know how to find us if anything comes up." Lex gave the younger man a salute and started to pull away. " So what are you afraid of him for, you big chicken? First decent guy that is not picked by your mother that shows some interest in you and you are hiding behind me. That is not like you and did you not tell me when I let you accompany me that your parents would never know if you were home or not?" He forced himself to suppress a smirk.

Vivian glares at Lex at his chicken comment and mutters, "I am not afraid!" She scowls and crosses her arms under her chest as she adds, "Besides, he pretends well. At the ball, he impressed my mother, who, by the way, has been making a point of paying more attention to what I've been doing lately so I need to be more careful."
