"Don't you worry, I'll deal with Maroni, but the enemy you know is better than one you don't." Lex replied, not lowering his weapon. "Who do you work for?"

"We work for the People! For the greatness of-" "Shut up you tool, you're gonna give us away!" "I won't stop! We work for the People 's Revolution of America! We shall create the glorious worker's paradise here in the den of the evil of Capital itself!"
Viv can see at trio of cars, but she also sees a pair of large logs positioned on wires directly overhead - traps courtesy of the Rider, you imagine. The wires just need to be severed.

"What kind of nonsense are you babbling?" Lex said, keeping his feelings in check. To him it sounded exactly like the kind of nonsense his father had told him stories about from back in the Ukraine, and the reason his family had immigrated to the United States in the first place.

(Vivian, roll damage please.)
"I'm talking about the rise of the proletariat against the decadent capitalist imperialist!" The one goon shouts, as the others hang their heads. "REVOLUTION!"

Lex couldn't help but chuckle, "Of all the... are you joshing me? Take your idealism back to the motherland. They will not fly here." Despite jim finding the situation humorous, he didn't let his guard down. "No one here will ever switch to Marxist ideal. Your best bet is to catch the next boat home."

Viv's arrow cuts the line, sending the logs tumbling onto the approaching gangster's vehicles. One manages to swerve out of the way but all three are now trapped.
"Fancy shooting. Shall we wrap this up?" The Rider stands next to Vivian, a pistol in his right hand, and a tomahawk in his left. "Ladies first."
"You will see! The glorious Marxist revolution -" "Oh shut up already." One of the goons compatriots sighs.

"Well one of you have brains. How about all of you shut up and get on your knees." Lex said, refocusing. "You boys have a lot to learn. This is not your town to take from Marconi. This is not Marconi's town either. This is our town, we protect it the likes of you." He wavered the barrel of the shotgun at them. "So go back to your boss and and pack up and go back where you came from. Your ways are not welcome here. And if you down and decide to come back, we will be waiting on you."

Vivian simply nods at DR and heads toward where Lex is with his hostages. When she gets near, she gets her bow ready, just in case she needs to fire.

The cars that Viv smashed have emptied, the goons running to the street.
Lex's captives glare at him. "Go ahead, do it you tin-plated wop thug."

"No, see this is where we are different." Lex said, jutting his chin proudly. He pointed towards the way the cars had arrived, "Go, and don't come back unless you want to be humiliated. This town is ours. Now go."

Vivian doesn't chase the goons and lets Lex tell them how they should leave town. She does leave an arrow ready to shoot if she needs to.

The gangsters start fleeing, but the loudmouth turned back momentarily. "You haven't heard the last of us!"
The Rider chuckles. "Should I wing him?"
