" Your choice." Khris chuckled as he pulled out his Pythons and began breaking them down and cleaning them.

[albatross]

Landing in the late afternoon, the refugee camp stretches for miles in all directions. Children play near the runway while soldiers unload the good inside the plane into jeeps. The soldiers are a mix of various forces: Italian, Israeli, American, some UN uniforms here and there. The soldier are dirty, and their faces are the drawn and haggard look of men who have been sharing their rations with hungry refugee children.

A jeep shows up to take Khris, Dante and Bel to the command center while the Polish pilot watches the plane. The drive to the command center is slow and they can see all kinds of people. How many are here? One million? Two? Cities of tents, with families: women, men, children, the elderly. Here and there are operations to repair tents or prepare food under the guidance of soldiers. A vast complex of red cross hospital tents is visible off in the distance.

[dakota]

"This is crazy." Khris said as he looked out over the refugees. "We have to find a way to stop these things soon."

[Dome]

"Thought That was why we here. The kids can stop them, we just have to slow them down. Lets see how long before we can get this plan in motion," Dante says as he walks with Kris.

"We need to give these people some hope, I think thats probably the main reason for our mission man," he says getting close to Kris so he can whisper. He could have just talked to him in his head, but didn't want to startle him.

"Let them see what we can do, that there are others willing to fight," He says.

[dakota]

"You know what I mean. " Khris replied, glancing at Dante. " And We both know I'm no role model to be giving anyone hope. I've spent my entire life staying out of the public's eye. Do you really expect me to jump in now? I'll try to encourage others, but I won't be doing it myself." He let his lack of self confidence slip out a bit as he answered his teammate.

[Dome]

"Yes, yes I do. If not now when? Look around, they need something and none of us may have another chance. It's time to draw a line and hold it," He says as they continue driving.

[dakota]

"So we draw the line and have the people they ran here to have protect them set up and be the heroes. That's not what we here for." Khris said sternly. The idea of stepping into the limelight was not for him. " Yiu and Bel want to step up and be heroes to these people, go ahead, you know I'll back you, I'll just be doing it from a ways back."

[albatross]

The jeep arrives at a large command tent and the three of them are shown inside. The main part of the tent is occupied by soldiers and civilian officials who are busy working out the day to day problems of a refugee camp.

A sergeant shows them to a walled off part of the command tent where a colonel rises to greet them, "The general is out supervising work in the camp. I'm told you need information about division one. I can answer those questions."

[Dome]

As he jumps out of the jeep, Dante says,"Hiya, I'm Dante, this is Kris and the Lovely lady with us is Bel. The UN sent us as I'm sure you know. We can start with where is division one now?"

[albatross]

The colonel waves a hand, "Their barracks are adjacent to the command tent. Most of them are there." The officer hesitates, "Are you familiar with their operational methods? Do you know what their mission is and how they carry it out?"

[dakota]

"We've heard," Khris said with a nod. " That's part of why we're here, to try to help with their approach. They could be an important part of finally defeating the demons."

[Dome]

Dante lets Khris take the lead as he takes moment to scan the colonel's thoughts and see what exactly was going in his head.

[albatross]

The colonel hesitates for a split second, not that he can't believe they've heard of Division 1, but rather he isn't quite sure how much they know.

"Who would you like to talk to in Division One?" The colonel asks Khris casually.

Dante can tell this is a test. There is only one one right answer, the colonel suspects they have only superficial knowledge. Surprisingly, he seems to want to help them to understand the situation. Dante can feel powerful emotions swirling in the man's mind: respect, grief, concern. The colonel keeps thinking about the video records in his office. He waits for Khris' answer.

[dakota]

Khris merely smiled as he replied, "u.n. commander Tiger sent us to assist Division One buy her team some time. Now if you want to keep jerking my chain, that is fine, I can put it inmy report when I file it, or you can get the people responsible for planning Division One's missions in a meeting for us very soon." Khris let it slip that diplomacy was not his strong suit. " We're here for two reasons. To buy Tiger's project the time it needs to be ready to defeat the demons, and to help you keep as many of your people alive doing it."

[Dome]

"I got a better idea, why don't we start with whatever video recordings your have on division one. I'm sure you have something we should see before we sit down with them. Let us take a look at those and then we can meet with division one," Dante says.

Dante looks the man over, "I can assure you as Khris has stated that we are here on orders from the top and we wouldn't be wasting your time or ours otherwise."

Dante then continues to read the man telepathically after speaking to him.
