Tiger stops adjusting the map and turns back to Khris, "You won't," her voice almost fearful. "The pilots here will attack directly. And you'll advise division one which will attack directly. But telling division one our plans is all that I want you to do. Stay as far away from the demons as possible. Don't attack them. Just give me a report on what division one is doing, and convey some messages to them for me."

Khris tried not to show how much this mission was bothering him as he listened. He glanced Dante before saying flatly, " When do we leave?"

"I'll have the plane packed with supplies for the refugees. And you'll need to take another pilot. Shouldn't take more than a few hours." Tiger sighs, Khris had just returned and now he would be leaving again. She would have been reassured to have him here, and Dante and Bel too.

[dakota]

"Uh huh." Was all Khris said. " Better go pack again." He looked at Dante and Bel. "I'll meet you down in the hangar, we should be able to round up a pilot there. Anything else we need to know, Bosskitty?"

[Dome]

Dante nods, "sounds like a plan, Ya know I can fly the plane right? I just need to concentrate. It may not be like having a professional pilot, but I should be able to get us there in one piece," he says shrugging.

Khris shook his head, " No,I didn't, but might be a good idea to have a co-pilot at least to leave with the plane just in case while we are on the ground." His reply was flat to hide any emotion as he added," I'll see you there."

As he turned to head off to quarters, he had to fight off the urge to go for a drink, for the first time since he had quit.

Tiger watches Khris leave with a mixture of fear and longing. She is starting to hate this job. She had always been careful to maintain a field rank, a lieutenant or a captain. The idea of watching Khris and Dante leave while she stayed behind at a desk erked her.

It ended up taking six hours to get everything ready. The Catalina plane was packed with food, medical supplies, water purification systems and a couple of cases of Whiskey. One of the Polish pilots was found to help fly the plane and to guard it while Khris, Bel and Dante worked on their mission.

But Khris and Dante could tell something else was going on too. Soldiers were scurrying around, especially up top. Marv found Khris, he had one of the Egyptian psychics with him, just returned from their mission to fetch an object of negation. Marv mumbles, "You said ya needed a psychic, she'll do what you need." The young woman is quite pretty, with caramel skin and some tattoos. "I didn't forget," Marv says. "Mostly."

Inside the plane, Bel, Dante and the Polish airforce pilot review the prep checklist.

" Thanks Marv." Khris said, focusing on the psychic. " Your new assignment is a bit underhanded, but I need to find out for sure. I want you to use your powers to keep tabs one of the trainees called Foxglove. She has a past of playing both sides and I want you to try to glean her intentions off her. I would get my own team member to do it, but She would likely be suspicious of Dante. Can you do this for me while my team is offsite on an operation?"

The beautiful Egyptian says, "No problem. What is Foxglove like? Anything in particular I should know about her?"

[dakota]

"don't get close enough that she knows what you are up to, and don' t trust her." Khris replied with a slight shrug. " I'll check in when i get back from this milk run, but if something serious comes up, take it to Tiger." He then added with emphasis, "Do not attempt to confront her yourself. Understand?"

[Dome]

Dante helped with the preflight as they waited for Kris to come to the plane.

"Understood," the egyptian says to Khris. Marv nods, "She smells bad." Which is odd, because in addition to being gorgeous, Foxglove always smells amazing. Unless Marv can smell something others can't....

"You'll be careful right," Marv says to the psychic woman, concern evident in his voice. She agrees.

As Khris is about to leave Marv says, "Dancer will be ready in two weeks. I... I promise."

[dakota]

"Marv, I don't care what anyone says, including Tiger. You can only push these kids so hard. If they are not ready and we have to relocate again, so be it." Khris patted the man on the shoulders." We only get the one crack at this and we need a team to throw at these things, not a single person like Rock tried. If you can't meet the deadline with all of them, I'll go to Tigger with you. She won't throw these kids to the wolves. Now I gotta go, keep an eye on things for us."

With a handshake, he boarded the plane and closed the boarding ramp," Sorry, I'll explain once we're underway." He told Dante when he found him.

[Dome]

Dante shrugs, "no big deal man. Figure if I needed to know I would have been told. Or, I could have found out for myself," he says tapping his head.

"We clear to get this party started," he asks.
