"Had a good time? You sure took your sweet time getting back," Dante says smirking all knowing it hadn't really been that long.

[dakota]

Khris shrugged, "Had to do a meet and greet first, then make sure I had the right people. Not exactly a get on the plane, we're leaving situation. Then I had to meet up with the welcoming commitee," he motioned his head towards Tiger with a bit of a smirk.

[Dome]

"well welcome back, the place has been downright quiet without you," Dante says leaning back in his chair.

[dakota]

Khris smirked, " I try my best"

"It is great to have you back," Tiger agrees. "Now, down to business." She goes over to where Roan, Marv and Lt. White are sitting. In the background behind her the ETA of the demons is counting down from 13 days and ten hours.

"How long until they are ready?" Tiger asks, looking at Roan.

Roan says nothing. White says, "They'll have to be ready in thirteen days."

"Not what I asked," Tiger counters. "When will they be ready."

Marv scratches behind his ear and says, "I bet Dancer will be ready in two weeks." Tiger's eyes flick to him and then back to Roan. Roan nods.

"That is too long," Tiger says.

Roan's voice enters everyone's minds. Dancer is the furthest along, the fastest learner. These skills you are asking for can take a normal person a decade. When Marv says two weeks, he is talking about the fastest mastery of this skill ever. And it might not be two weeks, it could be ten days. It could be ten years. But Marv is the most likely to be right. He has successfully predicted each stage of Dancer's training. Two weeks.

Tiger sighs. "So we need a couple of days." It isn't a question.

Khris' good mood slipped with the answer from Roan. "Great, anyone know The number for Godzilla's agent? Only way I can think of to stall these things."

[Dome]

"That is the question isn't it, how do you slow down the in slowable? Why don't we just pack up load everything on a couple of planes and fly to the other side of the planet? Then these things have to turn around and head over, should give us the time we need," Dante says. He didn't mention what he was thinking, and what probably others in the room were thinking too, they may have to send one of the kids...

Tiger hesitates. "Division one was tasked with slowing them down. Oh, they thought they would try to kill them that way, but slowing them down was also an objective."

She looks intently as Khris and Dante. "There isn't enough time for me to leave and make changes to Division One. But you could. Fly to the front line, report on their situation, and I could advise you by phone.... only, it would be very dangerous. You could be killed."

[Dome]

"Hmm you make it sound so inviting. Let's see, stay here and maybe die later, or fly out there and maybe die now. Whats behind door #3 Alec," Dante says shaking his head and chuckling.

He shakes his head and then says, "before I decide one way or another, tell me, what chance does division 1 actually have of slowing those things down?"

[dakota]

" Alec is Jeperody, Dante," Khris corrected," you meant Pat."

He looked back at the screen and thought for a moment. "Too bad the Americans never finished their Star Wars satellites, may not kill the things but maybe piss them off and draw some attention."

[Dome]

"Pat, I'll make a note to remember that should we survive," Dante says jokingly.

"I agree Kris. Han, Chewie and the Millenium Falcon would come in handy here. Death Star Would be nice also," he says smiling.

Tiger turns to Bel to answer Dante's question about division one, "Bel?"

Bel thinks about it for a moment, "There are two people in division one who have been able to stop a demon for short periods of time, and three more who were able to stop or slow a demon for only a moment. That is the rumor from the convent, everything official is kept secret on a need to know basis."

Tiger shrugs and turns back to Dante. "There you have it. Not just a chance. Some minor successes."

Khris couldn't hold back a snigger as Dante commented. " Sorry Tigger. So what do you need us to do if Division One can buy us the time we need?"

[albatross]

Tiger thought about that for a moment and turned to one of the conference room walls in the command center. "Dante is right, we may need to go out to meet one of them, ready or not. We don't want to fight on our doorstep. It should be two or three days travel away from here. That means we engage in ten days."

She picks up a kinect glove and starts ploting some points on the map. "That means trying to stop the closest demon is a waste of time. Division one couldn't delay it four days in ten days time. But the second and third one.... If we can hold one of them back then we'll have extra time to train and we avoid any possibility of facing all three at once."

"I'm sure Division One is trying to slow all the demons. They likely have their best operatives spread thin. We need them to concentrate operations on only one of them. The second farthest. If they can slow that one down a day or two that will give Dancer a lot longer than fourteen days to train. It won't help for the first one, but it gives us exactly the time we need for the second and third."

"You'll need to go there, report back to me on the operational methods, and I'll advise you on any changes to re focus on a single demon."

[dakota]

" Wait a minute." Khris said, his jovial attitude slipping away. " Go out and try to stop them ourselves? No offense, but I think we need to rethink this one. The kids are training to use the machines to stop them which has a chance, and Division One has their abilities, but I dont think I'm going to be able to ping them with my rifle enough to get their attention before I'm a smoking crater from a death ray or something. We aren't that sort of team, Tigger . a Head on confrontation is suicide."
