Alice is quiet for a minute before nodding quietly and answering "I don't want you to do anything you don't want to. And if you don't want to go back to doing..." Alice pauses "that kind of work, I'll support that." She hesitates before answering "Plus I think it's too soon for you to go back yet, even though you've made remarkable strikes in your recovery, I don't think you should push yourself too much too quickly." Alice moves a little closer to Jason and looks up into his eyes, waiting for his response.

" Okay." Jason nodded, looking uncomfortable until he put his hand on the treadmill for support, but it didn't seem like it was the answer he was looking for. " I'll talk to Mac. You're right, unless I use my suit, there's no way I could go solo." He smirked. " Not until I get my balance back in control at least. "
He paused a moment, " Take the others and do whatever needs to be done. i'll give Janie a hand up in the warroom. He hesitated, much like a kid in junior high, before edging close enough to give Alice a kiss. " Then maybe we can find a solution to why I tick you off so much before I go visit my niece."
(GM correction- there is only Isamu, Kristian and Sierra in the kitchen, Ashley hasn't returned yet)
Kristian slowly stood, letting Sierra help. " Everyone needs to stop fighting. Yes, we're all pretty powerful on our own, but if we ever stop this in fighting, there's nothing we can't deal with."
A noise came from the corner and Ashley appeared, changed into less revealing clothes than her swimsuit. She glanced at Sierra, then towards the door " I'm going for a walk. Someone give me a call when it's time to go." She walked out the patio and padded down the stairs quickly.
" I guess she didn't take it too well. " Kristian said. He looked at Isamu," At least your help controlling her temper seems to be working."

"She seemed upset," he says after watching her depart and looking at Sierra and Kristian. "If needed, I will be with her."
He then stands gives them a short bow, and leaves the room and tries to catch up with Ashley. When he steps outside he calls for her by name and looks for her.

Alice looks unsure, realizing she hadn't given the answer Jason had wanted to hear, wishing she knew what he had wanted her to say without having to resort to reading his mind. She returns the kiss looking as shy as Jason does and nods quietly. "Yeah, we should figure stuff out." she replies softly before giving him a hug and heading out to find the others.

'upset doesn't cover the half of it. we had a few words upstairs. nothing more than airing our differences. don't think we'll really be friends, but that's okay'
*she moves slowly enough to ensure that Kristien isn't straining himself and gives more support as Alice walks in. nodding to her she simply states 'Ash and Isamu are outside on the beach, she's annoyed at me, she'll live. cookies are still there. Kristien to the front couch, back later.'
*then her eyes seem to unfocus slightly and refocus. Kristien feels his power, trickle into him to ease the pain. the nerves stap screaming, as he finally sits on the couch. 'better lie down maybe? .. i'll go upstairs and grab my rollies and give you a back rub'

Not far down the beach, Ashley turned back at her name being called. She waited until Isamu caught up, forcing a smile. " You didn't have to come with me. I'm fine, really. Just needed a little air. I completely misread Sierra. Bet she's ticked at me, huh?"
Kristian relaxed as the healing powers washed over him. Once she was done, he smiled, but it quickly became mischevious. " Why didn't we think of that sooner? Why couldn't you use this guy's powers against him by copying him just like you just did with me?"
" I'll be right in." Jason called after Alice as she pulled the door shut. Dmitri found her in the kitchen. " There was a second attck, a mile up the beach about a half hour before Kristian, on a child. News said it looks like the girl will survive though. Janie wanted me to tell you."
The front door closed and Jason motioned towards the beach," You gotta find and stop this guy."

*Sierra smiles as he sounds better to her ears and then shakes the head* 'i can't do it that way. you have the healing .. the crystal form .. you could have another melody or tune to the ... 'radio waves' off your station. well thats how i see it. everyone has radio waves.
"i can copy people .. and i guess i'm kinda hard to hurt. i guess that would be my radio waves ... to copy someone i have to get a good read of their power and then try to disect it so i can understand. the only way i can think of it to get that information from him is to ... '
*she makes a face and shudders visibly once* ' ... to ... ugh .. i'ld have to get close, really fast. thats not something i'm gonna like doing. but if i have to, i guess i could. but, ... i'm not sure i can pull it off'
*she carefully touches Kristien and then once she's got he right amount of light pressure, starts to give him a shoulder massage, her chin is near his head as she squats by him and rubs the tension away. "just rest now, close the eyes and rest now".
*she sends more of his power into him, and when Avi moves into range stops with Kristien's and shifts it to Avi's power going in. she continues with the massage and smiles as Kristien's breathing seems to deepen. a gentle kiss to his head and she stands up and looks down at him and smiles sadly.
*she looks away and the smile starts to fade. she's shifting back in her memories to one of the girls from long ago acted and she studies the actions and the occasional overheard comment. with a role model to work from now in her head, she heads upstairs to get changed for a night at the club. she pauses and goes to the war room first. 'hi. you got an idea of what the guy in the water looks like? .. i need to know what he looks like'

" Sorry Sierra." Avi shrugged, looking at Janie. " Ashley is the only one who knows this Mako character."
" Maybe you could ask her." Janie added
Ashley shrugged. " Felicia and I took a long time to learn to work together. I guess I let my emotions get in the way again." she smirked slightly. " As long as we can work together, then it doesn't matter if we're friends. Just look at Jason and Avi. Hard to tell they make a great team the way they fight like cats and dogs."

'ahh ... well Kristien's sleeping on the couch. i have to get ready to go to the club. i'll be down in a couple of minutes. just don't go strange when you see me or how i act. its just another day under the bigtop and its a character .. '
*she shrugs and then simply states* 'not sure if Ashley will wanna talk to me. oh well, time to go get ready. i'm not really selfish, just a bit slow when it comes to people .. i'll need one of those communicators in a bit. will you get it ready for me? thanks'
*she leaves before they answer and heads to her room and finally picks out an outfit that would have her mother cringing with shock and horror at how its been cut and sewn. she covers the short and gaping mini dress with a longer patent leather looking black trenchcoat and slips into the boots she's picked. she gets eye liner on, slicks her hair down with some style and suddenly the 'country girl look is gone and city girl stares back at her. she slips some gloves on and then heads out to get the bandaid communicator.
'i'm thinking i'll go out and get dinner first and then meet the others at the club. let me know what the plan is .. alright?' *she attaches the communicator into place and asks 'did you have any idea how to get to the club from here other than a cab? .. i can do that from down the street i guess. bye Avi .. Janey ... they have about an hour before i'll get to the club .. like i said .. i ned some food and time to sink into this ... character i've gotta become. look after Kristien for me? i'm doing this for him and the other victims'
*stepping back she opens the coat and shows the dress to the two of them and then snugs it shut again. ' i gotta go now, before the others try to talk me out of this 'being the bait' thing. don't let them out without having a plan. so, Mako huh? .. bye ... ' *then she whirls and is out of sight before they can react. she cheated and used Jason's power and is down the street by the time the front door closes gently.

The look on Avi's face was priceless as Sierra made her escape. None of the others followed her, but she did hear Janie through the radio she'd placed behind her ear, giggling" Si, I hope you saw the look Avi gave you when you opened your coat. Be careful and I'll tell the others."
Jason nodded. " Okay, so now what you need is a plan, other than just looking at the club for him." He looked around. " Where is everyone? This should be a group effort, unless you want to make all the decisions."

*Si gives a faint giggle back .. 'yeah i saw ... and thanks J. don't think the others would think good of me for how i look and will be acting when Kristien's back home injured ... god i think that he's gonna kill me when he hears ... bait out. need to focus on how to act like .. her ... '
*she catches a cab about 2 blocks up and heads for the downtown core, and grabs a meal at one of the restaurants. Avi's shocked face is the only thing right now that keeps her going right now. to see this through and getting back to her room and changing into 'real clothes'.
*she recalls all of the actions and giggles and antics that got rid of that one female years ago. its only when she's paying the man at the till that she leans forward and nearly breathless and low she states 'that was .. yummy. know anywhere a gal can .. play at night?' *she hopes he guy is ... straight, and can't see thru the phoney act*

*Sierra winks at the guy and then calmly states ' .. oh i'm kidding. i have to meet friends later. just figured if you knew of a place one could go for a bit of adventure it would be fun. so how much do i owe you?'
*she pulls out some bills and tabs them on the counter to distract from her face and neck for now .. and then pays with a healthy 20% tip, before heading out and moving out of view towards the club and hopes they have their doors open early
