Once they got to the rec room, Avi had the same suprised look that Jason had when Tom walked in, " Jas, didn't you tell him?"
"Yeah, but it's his decision." Jason replied, " You guys go first."
In front of Tom, the pool table looked like a standard table, with the exception of heavy duty hydraulic suspension that allowed the table to be down to 24" off the floor. Avi pressed a button on the side and the table rose to standard height so gently that the balls did not move. Avi passed Tom a cue, " you can break. He only wants to watch because he always beats me."
(Note; roll strike and basic math for easy shots, or use advanced math for complicated shots [3+ ball combos criss cross, etc. )
Trevor and Long were soon headed for the driveway. As they got to the car, Trevor passed long a small band aid like object to Long. This is a band-adio. I know, stupid name, but the the technical name for them sounds worse and the former team leader called them that and it stuck. You put it on like this," he peeled off the tabs and stuck it behind his ear, where it was barely noticable. " It's a bone amplified ear mike. You just have to touch it to turn it on or off. The channels are encrypted so we don't get intercepted and somehow you can change between multiple channels, but I haven't figured that out yet. Beats your crappy SWAT comms I bet." He smirked, getting in the car. Once in the passenger seat, he tossed Long the keys. " You serious about going back to the department? I thought you were sticking around to look out for Deci like Ryne asked."
In a moment, another text chirped back, 1pm. Quigley's Diner down by pier. Need directions? Deci knew the spot, it was her father's favorite restaurant. Bring a friend if you want chirped in a moment later
The beach is a little busier than usual, but that is because the surf is up a bit . There are bunch of boogy boarders to on side, and a beach party further down the beach on the other side, looking like a family outing by the mix in ages.
No one interrupted Alice and Isamu's talk.

Isamu says, "Ashley has spoken with MacCoulter and her family, as soon as we are ready we can go. I believe she would like to leave in the morning if that is all right. I wanted to make sure you and I spoke first. I do not know if you have had time or opportunity to review my reports for the time you were away. If you have any questions I will be more than happy to answer. I want to make sure that I uh... caught you up, I believe is the saying."

As Long is putting on his band-adio, "Yeah. I was serious, but I was not thinking of going back there immediately. I was planning on staying until December makes her decision on whether she wants to come back to the team or not. But even after I go back to work with the department I will still be around. If another mutant threat or something like that comes up again I will certainly be right here next to the team. I can see the four of us (you, me, December, and Rafa) being the best of friends."
He starts up the car and starts heading for the hospital that is holding Allison's body.

Deci takes a look at the phone thinking to herself, Bring a friend. Who on earth would I bring, if I had any. Still no need to text them back if I show up with a friend then so be it. She then turns to answer the rest there. "A swim would be a wonderful idea. Not that I have a bathing suit though! That is something we should of bought Sara when we were shopping."

Sio tilts her head a bit at Deci's reply, then smiles. "I'm sure we can improvise something for you, Deci.. hell, I probably have a couple of extra bikini's up in my room." she adds, winking. Standing, Sio stretches a bit, looking out at the beach and those taking it in. "I love the water.. wish I had learned how to surf though."

"I know what you mean. We're in Florida of all places, swim suits are practically mandatory." Sara says to Deci. She gets up from the chair and stretches hard. "Oh I would love to learn to serf but I think i would sink any board I got on. I don't think they make any bouyant and made out of metal, do they?"

Deci in response to Sara's question takes her powers and makes one out of ice. "Why yes they do make surfboards out of buoyant materials. Only problem is coldness on the feet." She says with a smile and almost a laugh.

Sara chuckles as she picks up the icey bored, the numbing cold barely registering to her deadens sense of touch. She knew better than to hold on to it for too long though.
"I don't think the cold is going to bother me that much but I can't be held responsible what this thing would do to the rest of my body, hm?"

Alice nods at Isamu and says, "That's fine. I hope you have a good visit." When Isamu mentions the reports, she shakes her head and says "No, I haven't had a chance yet. I'll look at them now so if I have any questions, I can ask you before I leave."

Isamu smiles and says, "thank you Alice. The reason I bring them up, December. She has been through quite an ordeal recently. I am worried about her. If you read her report and my own, you will understand why. There is a small part of me that wishes I could stay and help her, however I do not know what I would be able to do for her, and I think I definitely need some time away," he says as he interlaces his fingers behind his back.

The trio on the beach drew some unexpected attention. Ashley stood on the deck above them. she was wearing a bodysuit and holding a surfboard. " I couldn't help hearing out the window. Mind some company? I'll share." She picked up a second board with a smirk. " Lord knows how long Isamu and Alice will be."
The balls on the table scattered, but none went in a pocket. Avi lined up a shot, then another, pocketing the 4 and 5 before missing. The table left tom thre shot choices. 15 in the side, 11 long split with the 7 in the corner or a criss cross to put the 13 in the opposite corner. "See what you got."
Jason sat back, amused.
" Umm, not sure if I should tell you this, but this town is crawling with trouble." Long replied. " Like the old guy in the junkyard. Not to mention the brethren that weren't rounded up yet. Bud, we are far from finished here. You really think you partner is going to understand what you've gotten into? Or that your precinct boss will say 'Sure, hope you kick some ass'? Come on Long, you know that isn't going to happen. Not without some intervention from MacColter."
The drive was fairly short, so the trip went quickly as they drove in light traffic.

Heading over to the head nurse's station. "Hi. We are here to identify a friend that came into the morgue. Can you direct us how to get there?"

Sio chuckles softly as she stands, watching Deci create one out of ice she lets out a low whistle. "Cool power, though I don't think I'd want to ride one made of ice." she replies, then nods to Sara. " I take it you can't feel much due to your..er.. metal?"; she'd never to her knowledge met anyone cybernetically enhanced, so she was rather curious about what effects it had.
As Ashley appears on the deck, Sio glances up then smiles and offers wave. "Certainly, the more the merrier!" she calls out. Looking back to Deci and Sara, Sio grins. "I think I'll just go for the dip and avoid any attempts at learning to ride a board this time around"

"I still need a swimsuit, but then again what is the worst that can happen. I mean worse comes down to it I will have to get some new clothes. Actually no I will go see if I can find a t-shirt and shorts and hopefully that will be good enough. Ashley do you happen to have anything." She finally says with a partial twinge of guilt for the fact she had feelings for the man that she is with. Still Ashley is not to blame so best to try and be nice with her and possibly try to make up what has happened in her mind.
