" Cold blooded? That monster has eaten at least twenty people that we know of. It's not murder, it's pest control." Tyler replied, his rage starting to subside evident as his eyes reverted to normal. " Of course I'm upset. everyone I care about has either been hurt or disappeared. How would you feel?" He turned and walked away. He said over his shoulder," Is, you just keep Ash safe and I'll call it even."
" So what do we do with Troll?" Dimitri asked as he changed back to normal." We can't just dump him on the police station doorstep with a note around his neck."

" We weren't looking for a fight. Janie could have told you that." Jason replied as he accepted the grenade. As he began to take it apart carefully, he added," Why do you assume I was spoiling for another go round with Wraith? I just thought he could lead us to Felicia. I even decided to take Trevor along to keep Wraith from slipping into the shadows." He looked at Will and grinned. " And do you honestly think I'm worried about the cops? How do you think I met Alice?"

*a frown shows on Sierra's face as she thinks on the words and then shrugs. 'don't think so. i did a few times before ... well that .. the accident. guess it was an accident, but i don't think so afterwards. why? .. you think its important? ... Bubba and I wrestled all the time. he missed his litter mates ... and when i recovered, he was mine to look after. other than that ... don't think i've worried about getting hurt. maybe i'm just too stupid to know better? .. '
*the look of actual confusion is clear as she looks Kristien in the face and gives a half smile. then as the voices raise outside, her attention is back on them again. 'so ... you're not gonna tell i kick people hard are you? ... i really didn't mean to break the leg. honestly i didn't .. but he had a gun and was waving it about ... just wish i had nabbed the other guy with the robber ... i did try .. i threw a can of veggies at him ... missed too. now that would have shamed ... '
*the grin of a shared secret covers the pain in the eyes as she looks back at Kristien. 'i'm just happy you're here .. makes things a little easier to handle, cause they're still all over the place' *one hand drifts to an itchy shoulder and the fingers rub on the fabric 'god i wish i understood this itchy thing better. but i think it gets less when i copy someone. oh William is coming back .. or was when we left .. think thats good? .. should ... i ... ' *then Si's eyes waver as they lock on his face and she tries to understand people more, but is still somewhat lost when he's close, and now? .. he's a LOT closer than before and her mind slowly starts thinking thoughts about his voice and other thoughts

Alice watches as Tyler walks away and sighs quietly. Turning to Dmitri, she replies quietly "To be honest, I'm not sure. What do you think?" she asks Dmitri and Avi as he comes out to see what was going on.

Isamu watches Tyler leave, and is truly saddened by what Tyler has had to face recently. After taking a moment to think of that, he turns his attention to the matter at hand.
"The group Avi works for deals with mutants that have gone bad. Is there anyway to detain him Avi?"

"Wraith doesn't slip into shadows, Jason. He slips through walls. He could pass his hand right through that exosuit and drop a grenade in your heart. And he's done it enough to know how to make you suffer. Also, let's not forget that he's a madman bent to make this the most entertaining situation for him that he can." William says calmly, as he lays the parts around the dismantled grenade, pondering the right mix with a neutral and the green poison. "He would have led you into a trap, and you would be out of reach for assistance."
Looking up at Jason, he says, "Besides. With one of these grenades, you wouldn't need to worry about shining a light in the shadow. Drop it on Wraith, he goes intangible, and the poison will have an instant effect. If you're lucky, he's rematerialize in a wall."

Avi nodded. " The beachhouse has another level underground. Mac told us not to tell you about it until we were sure everyone could be trusted. Other than Jason, I don't think we'll have any problems." He smirked at his comment." There are a couple of holding cells down there he'll never get out of."

Kristian shook his head. " You should tell Will, even if we don't know the extent of your powers. He was annoyed when you nearly squished me, so this would only make it worse." Seeing she was in discomfort, he set his other hand on her shoulder and used his powers to reduce how much it bothered her. " Besides, he might know how to test your powers so you can find out just what you can do." He smiled. " Don't worry, I'll go with you."

Jason shrugged. " Whatever, you're the boss. So if these things are gonna be potent, how do we keep from gasing ourselves?"
Kerry looked at Will giving him a captive audience.

"Let us call William and the others and tell them to be prepare for him. Dimitri, perhaps you can go back and get some restraints, and create a portal right into a cell, so we can have him walk right into it."

William pulled out the gun he'ld been carrying. "Only Avery, Tyler and Kristian need to be clear of the gas." He says, putting the gun on the table. "Of course, some of the others might object to this. But this is not going to be a situation where we show a whole lot of mercy."

*Sierra leans against Kristien and seeks some comfort, unaware that she's doing just that as she gazes out at the others. 'but i'm sure it was just love nibbles .. .. or at least i think they were. oh jeez. he's gonna think i'm an idiot for not knowing what i can do'
'i ... i just thought it was that goo pool by the tracks that just made my skin different .. i didn't know it changed all of me. well, i guess i'll just have to do whatever i can to understand just what i am and can do' her body takes on the 'defeated' stance, complete with the deep sigh. ' .. guess that means that i'm the guinea pig then. well, someone has to be i guess. someone has to be able to .. ' *she pauses and glances over the shoulder towards Ashley* 'someone has to be able to keep the soul of this group intact. i guess its not me. anyways, i guess we should find out what's gonna happen then, so we can be prepared'

Dimitri nodded to Isamu," I can do that. Can't you just pack him in rock or something long enough to move him?" At the same time, his portal began to open behind him.
" I think most of us are still learning what we can do." Kristian replied. " The rest of us just have a head start on you is all. That makes all of us guinea pigs, but it's also what could make us very effective together. If we learn together, we get to know each other's abilities as well as our own and how to use them together. Just like Tyler had you , me and Avi do." He peeked back over his shoulder. " Otherwise, she wouldn't be alive."

Kerry looked at the gun and smirked," What about me? Maybe that stuff doen't affect non metas. I'd hate to get caught in a cloud of this stuff and find out it's gonna put me into convulsions."
Jason nodded as he finished another grenade, " Mercy isn't one of my strongpoints anyways. So when do we go after Wraith?"

*Sierra turns her head slightly to look up at Kristien's jaw and face and then smiles, in a relieved way then back at Ashley. 'i just copied you and pushed it in ... i didn't know how to see if everything was okay. guess i should have studied that instead of business and law. i think mom wanted me to take over the bookkeeping and the office stuff for the troupe from her. did i ever tell you i buy about 10 bucks of stocks when they're about 1 or 2 cents .. and then sell when they get to be about 60 cents? ... its a slow way of building money, but its fun to do. worst i loss is about 10 bucks in investments.
'had one that went as high as a buck fifty before i sold. it crashed about 3 days later, but i was fine. once i do one of them, i don't go back to it. but i keep an eye on it. most die after they crash, but some start the slow climb and level out about 15 cents' .. *she pauses, at his look and then chuckles and looks at the floor. 'mind you, it was the troupe's money at the time. so don't look to me for a loan .. '
*she looks outside at the others now, and suggests 'maybe we should go closer? .. no i guess we're the last line of defense for their friend ... ' *then turns slightly and leans closer and whispers 'can you show me some of that stuff you were doing? .. it might be useful to have' *then while she's so close, she gets bold enough to give him a quick peck on the cheek before going red and looking out the door

william did little more than glance at Kerry as he continued his work. At Jason's question, he says, "We? Well, if you mean you and Tyler, then. When everything's set. We'll be a step behind, tracking you two as you do this." He explains calmly. "Wraith will think I'll be with you two to keep you in check." William puts the arming pin back onto the one he just finished adding poison to. "Remeber to shoot him, he'll be faster affected by the gas as he turns intangible to evade the attack." he turns and looks at Jason. "Don't think about interrogating him, getting answers or drawing it out. Don't even talk. You throw the grenade, shoot, then shoot again. Understand? Wraith is only a field commander. He won't have all the answers, and is better off dead."

Alice raises an eyebrow at Avi with a smirk, but doesn't ask any further questions, not really sure if she wanted to know or not. While she waits for Isamu to encase troll in earth to move him back to the lower floor of the beach house, she goes over to Kristian and Sierra and explains what they are planning to do, adding "You guys can head back to the beach house as well. I don't want to leave Ashley alone, so I'll wait here with her until Tyler gets back."
