However once she removes her cloak and reveals her obviously female body, people realize how truly unsightly her facial appearance really is. . Her face is littered with pockmarks, hairy moles, and a 5 o’clock shadow that if left un-shaved would quickly grow into a full beard.

Background: Falbera was born as the ugliest child ever born to the Deldukr family of dwarves. Her twin brother born only seconds after her seemed to be the best looking child ever born to the family. While her parents were thankful that both children were healthy, whenever they looked at Falbera they wished that she had gotten just a little bit of the looks.
As they grew it became apparent that what Falbera so obviously lacked in looks, she made up for with raw strength, and a passion for adventure. She became adept at wielding weapons and fighting, while her brother pursued the scholarly arts, as he was afraid of getting hit in the face and getting a scar or blemish.
When she told her parents she was leaving home to find action and adventure, they knew that while she would never find a husband and bring them grandchildren, she had the strength and drive to make the family proud. Her father passed on the Deldukr family battle axe and blessed her travels. The axe would have normally been passed on to the oldest son, but upon looking at his children, her father realized it would be put to better use by Falbera as she started her journey into adventure and the unknown.
