*the half dropped and foot lashing has her turned sideways .. and then flinches at hearing Anvil .. and calls out 'sorry anvil .. ' *then realizing that she's now crouching turns and plans to leap on the downed guy and try to pin and incapacitate him by getting his legs and arms all trapped with her own

*misses her intended target and ends up near Vance's legs. grabs at an ankle, and since she can't quite remember how the hold her brothers taught her in the panic of the moment, reacts by twisting up about it and if she was stronger would most likely rip it off or at least break the ankle.

Curious by the sense of duality that she felt when she touched Vance's mind, Alice tries to do a deeper telekinetic probe to try to determine why half seemed scared and the other half annoyed.

Alice's probing soon finds that the duality is two seperate minds, the dominant one in agony from the attack, the other seemingly subdued, almost entrapped.
As quickly as Sierra landed on Vance, a hand on her shoulder yanked her off of him. Kristian held her back," what's gotten into you?" He asked nervously, holding her back.
Surveying the chaos erupting, Trevor said under his breath to Isamu," This kind of stuff is normal. Usually worse when Ty's in charge."

Ismau stands his ground and watches the chaos unfold. His main concern is still Alice's safety as that is what he was tasked with. He stand behind her, barely able to see past her with his short frame.
Speaking to Trevor, "As long as we are not involved, we should keep things that way. Have you located your friend yet?"

Hearing the bartender's comment, Craig stared at him in disbelief.
"Didn't you see what just happened," he said shocked.
Not wanting to take his eyes of Vance for too long, Craig refocused on the immediate threat.
"Let her go, Vance," he threatened. "That was just a warning blast. Don't make me unleash my full power."
Yeah, it was a lie. Craig didn't have much more than what he hit Vance with initially, but he hoped Vance didn't realize that. The little bombs could do some damage, but not much. If the other two realized something was going on, would they be coming to aid Vance? Craig had forgotten about them until this moment. At least he wasn't alone anymore. Well, he didn't think he was alone. He still had no idea who these new people were and what part they were going to play in this encounter.

"THAT IS ENOUGH!" William booms, even over the volume of the speakers (God, I love playing a Drill Sargeant.) "This is now a crime scene and a Control action. Nobody moves unless I allow it." William lets the tell-tale silver flames trickle from his eyes as he flies over the crowd.
"<Here's what we do. Kerry, Dmitri, Isamu, you take and hold that fighting bunch. Avery, Alice, Trevor, converge on Dmitri. Dmitri, when you're ready, make a portal. Even those brawlers go through. This ends now. I will handle any... disgreements.>"
Flying safely enough above everyone, William looks over the crowd. "<Move it or lose it.>" he says on the band-aidio.
A flaming orb is then pointed at the bouncer. To the bartender, he says "Call off your man, and this place can still run. You have a safe-house and I can respect that. But, you interfere in a criminal investigation, and you'll have the normal cops to deal with. This is a fact. I have no qualms feeding you to them."
While he waits for everything to solve itself, William ponders if any of these kids would know Silverfire's reputation. ;D

Isamu steps from behind Alice now that William is there to watch her, "I believe he means for all of you to come with us." His statement may seem comical as he is on the short side measuring in at 5'7".
"I urge you to hurry, as we have other matters to attend to," he says obvious to those that have been around him that he is thinking of Ashley.

What have I gotten myself into, Craig thinks. Normal cops? What the hell is going on?
"Hey, I don't know who you are, what's going on, or who Control is, but I'm not going anywhere. I have rights, ya know. We do still live in the United States, afterall. If I'm not being charged, I'll give my statement to one of your... ummm... officers, then I'm outta here," Craig said to whoever seemed associated with the shouting, flying guy.
Getting brave aren't you, his inner voice quipped.
Shut up, was Craig's only reply.

*giving the guy on the ground another boot, while being pulled back by Kristien, Sierra finally evicts the last of her temper. then looking at him and his words penetrate into her head, becomes unsettled as tries to explain, but suffers a mental block.
*then actually crouches, the eyes pan icing at the loud yell, this on top of everything else is almost too much for her to handle. but its the look in Kristien's eyes thats the most troubling. as she stands up she finally blurts out 'i ... i just didn't want her to wake up dead in a ditch. pretty girls do .. they vanish, and then turn up dead ...' * then gives her shoulder a small shrug, not enough to shake off his hand, but enough to get the grip to loosen up.
*then finally understanding the words the flying guy yelled, finally sinks in, she can only comment 'then YOU take that creep ,, he made the girl vanish ... god i wish i broke his leg so he cant get away ... damn .. i just wanted to help. now i'm gonna loose my job .... ' *crosses the arms and frowns, obviously upset and highly agitated still, but no longer volatile enough to do anything

" Sledge, let him go. They're feds." Anvil said from behind the bar. The bouncer sighed, releasing Avi. " He didn't let me down when I said it." Avi sputtered.
The montrous dog bolted for the door, bowling over Kerry. He got to his feet and took chase. " I'll get him."
A shimmering archway of light opened next to Dimitri as Avi up next to Isamu, his shotgun drawn, and approached Sierra, Kristian, Craig and Vance. " don't make me shoot any of you, that'll mean alot of paperwork. through the... stargate thingy." He waivered towards the portal.
Vance had lost consciousness from the pain from the second blow. Beyond him, there was a whimpering that seemed to come from nowheres. The big guy in the suit that had come in the back door ahead of Kerry rushed to Terri's side and ushered towards the door, talking into a hidden radio.
Kristian put a hand on sierra's shoulder. " We will work things out. For now we should go with them." He said lowly in her ear.

*the eyes narrow at the sight of the rifle ... and then the disgusted expulsion of air that preceds the grumbled 'fine ... ' then laces the fingers together on the top of the head and moves towards the shimmery portal thing .. the face shows that she is relly upset just now, but will comply
...o0( name .. rank and serial number .. great .. only got one .. so now i dont really care, but i really hope i can kick him again ... blasted kidnapper ... evil b*****d ) *then gives a resentful sigh .. then steps thru .. the air of someone utterly insulted about this whole thing.

Alice breathes a sigh of relief when she sees that the girl seems to be all right physically and just a bit rattled. She studies the new people quietly and nods and steps towards the portal and steps into it and waits for the others.

"Kerry! Portal! Now!" William bellows.
As the body guard tries to usher Terri out, William lands in front of them. "Your father owes me, now, Terry." He looks at the bodyguard, then back to Terri. "I will call on him to repay this debt, with the interest on Lenny."
And he flies to the portal, grabbing Craig, in a nice, painful behind-the-guy armlock. "Make sure he comes too." He says, nodding at Vance.
"Thank-you for your co-operation." William says to the bar and the bartender. "I'll forget I was here."
When the team has made it through, William goes last, forcing Craig through. On the other side, he says to Dmitry "OK, close it."

" I got him." Dimitri said, picking Vance up over his shoulder. Kerry stopped in his tracks and about faced. He stepped through the portal. Once everyone was through the portal, Dimitri stepped through, turning to watch it dissipate. Vance was nowheres to be seen. After a string of Croatian curses, he said. " Sorry Will, he must have been faking the whole time. He pushed off just as I stepped through. All I got was this." He held up Vance's jacket.
