"That's why I'm here, the money. After that, we'll see about a nice vacation, somewhere tropical maybe. That is if she's worth the amount you keep talkin' about," Craig said. He still didn't feel this was on the level, but for now he would ride it out. Maybe he was just paranoid, but if things go bad Craig knew he could still get away.

Vance shook his head. He pointed at Craig with his drink in hand. " You know I used to think that way. One quick score and bail out. But you know what, it never works that way. There's always a hookup that keeps me in the game. Otherwise, I'd be sucking on margaritas on a Alcapulco beach instead on sitting here with you." His attention shot to the door, but returned to Craig. " False alarm, not her."

"Well, maybe it isn't the money that keeps you in the game," Craig said thoughtfully. "I'm not saying your a thrill junkie, but maybe knowing you got away with it." Craig looks at the door to see who came in and turned back to Vance.
"So, this girl, does she have powers too, or does she just like hangin' out with metas?"
