"Ok Ashley, Lets go to OUR room," he says as he places his other hand on hers and emphasizes the word our. He looks into her eyes and can see the creature begin to emerge. "Stay with me ok Ashley? Everything is ok," he says in a soothing tone.

She nods, and pulls him towards the side door of the house. Once inside, she seemed to relax and caught her breath. She smiled, and through her arms around Isamu's neck. " Thank you. you have no idea how hard it is to fight the bloodlust this time of month."

Alice is quiet for a few minutes as she stares out over the beach. She nods and says "OK. Might as well reserve a room before all the good ones are taken." She smiles a half smile and says "It's ok. You didn't know." Alice sighs quietly and asks "So where are these rooms?"

" Trust me, a chain won't do you any good." Ashley replied with a half smirk, " but it might be kind of fun after the fact. but let's go have a look and find a room."
Avi nodded. " On the second floor. Come on, I'll show you." He led Alice toward on of the stairwells behind Ashley and Isamu, who he suggested follow them. On the second floor, he explained. " The rooms are more like fancy dorm rooms. You've got a common room and then two seperate bedrooms off of it. This one is mine and Kerry's. Mind the mess, Kerry doesn't like to put his toys away." He opened the door to reveal a collection of video games and stereo gear that looked like every teen boys dream room with a pair of lazyboys facing the TV.
He closed the door and motioned acrossed the hall. " thats a bathroom and there's another one at the other end of the hall. At the next door up from the bathroom, Ashley opened it as she asked, " How about this ... oh, never mind." She added as she looked at a wheelchair situated inside the door and a charging unit next to a computer desk similar to the one Jason used for his suit.
Avi half smiled. " Yeah, that one is half taken, but there's no one in the other half."
" We'll pass on this one," Ashley winked at Alice, " don't want to cause any problems. We can take on up the hall, right?" she looked at Isamu for confirmation.

Alice is quiet for a minute or two before nodding quietly at Avi. "That's fine," she replies, "I can take the other half." She smiles weakly at Ashley's wink and heads inside and sits on the bed, looking around at the other half of the room hoping she'd be able to get some sleep tonight.

William continues looking at the maps. Are there any empty spaces between the sewer pipes that cold be made into a tunnel?

" this city is screwed six ways from sunday if we don't get to the bottom of things." Kerry replied flatly. " Hey... wait a minute, here.. check this out.. " He called up another map that overlapped. It showed a power substation in the gap. " This is a new one, they only put it in a couple months ago so it doesn't show on the other maps. That what you were looking for?"
" You don't have to take this one, Alice." Avi said softly from the doorway. " If you change your mind, just pick whatever one you want. Or if it helps, I know his door isn't locked" He walked away, leaving her alone.
" Oh come Is, you don't have to be a gentleman all the time." Ashley teased Isamu as they stopped at one of the other rooms. " You know, surprise me occasionally or something, would you?"

"I will take that on as a challenge," Isamu says with a grin. "I will look to suprise you soon. For now though, let us go check our room," He says as he grabs her hand and leads her down the hall.

Alice turns to smile quietly at Avi, but he's gone before she can say 'Thank you.' Sitting on the bed, she finds her gaze continually drifting towards the door to Jason's room and she thinks that she can't resist temptation and decided there'd be no harm in taking a look as she gets up and heads in that direction.

" It's not a surprise when you warn me to expect it." Ashley grinned before quickening her pace enough to get close enough to lick her finger and stick it in his ear with a giggle. " Thats how you surprise someone."
The door swung open to Jason's room with a creak. most of the room is dusty from a few months of not being used. The open closent was full of clothes, and the bed was made, covered in a heavy comforter. There were few personal affects, save a couple of framed pictures. One of them was old from before his accident, and showed Jason and Ty arm in arm at some cookout, and the other showed Jason and Ryne on a fishing trip holding up a pair of largemouth from the canoe. A closer look showed a third photo with a smashed frame lay on the trash can, but the damaged photo of Ashley and Jason hamming it up in a bar was easy to see. Other than that, it was a fairly empty room. On the back of the door hung a uniform like that worn by Ryne's team, the name Firefight embroidered on one sleeve.

Alice traces the embroidery on the sleeve of the uniform with a small smile on her face. The smile fades when she sees the broken frame on top of the trash can. She doesn't disturb anything and quietly leaves the room, closing the door behind her. Re-entering her half of the room, she lies on the bed and lets herself relax a bit, staring up at the ceiling lost in thought.
