" She's right Will. This has been building for a long time." Felicia added. " Better to clear the air now."
" I... I don't know, Alice. I don't think so. I mean I still like Dim and all, but it just really blindsided me." Janey admited.

Alice bites her lip and tries not to cry as she thinks 'Well, I guess I got the answer to what would happen if Janey found out what I am' "I see." she says quietly "I'm sorry to hear that Jane." 'More than you'll ever know' she thinks to herself.

Janey could see that what she had said upset Alice. " It's just I always only heard the bad stuff about metas from the news or on television. I never really thought of they could still be the guy next door, someone I would go out with like you seem to be okay with. It's just too much to try to take in at once. I guess you've known about what they're really like for a lot longer than me."
She forced a grin and gave Alice a hug to try to cheer her up. " so is this why you never told me about you and Jason?"

"The air won't clear." William says. "They'll just fight, and it'll build up again. Tyler's got to accept that his brother's more aggressive than he is, and Jason's got to accept that Tyler's conservative and is concerned for Jason." He leans against the kitchen counter. "Did you encounter any trouble getting here, Felicia?" He asks.

Alice returns the hug. "Yeah, I saw all that stuff on the news, and there are mutants who are bad and do hurt people." Alice thinks of Wraith and shudders a little "but there are some that just want to live their lives and who don't bother anyone at all. Or metas who want to use their abilities to help people." Alice sighs "You just don't hear about them because they're not newsworthy, I guess."
Alice has a small smile as she replies "I've only really known Jason for a couple of days now. He's sweet, and I like him." Her smile turns mischevous as she adds "and he's a good kisser" Alice falls quiet, not sure of what else to say.

" Sure it will. They'll blow off at one another and then things'll be fine." Ashley replied. " They always do this. Jason will call Ty an overprotective mother hen and Ty will counter by telling him he's a reckless adrenaline junkie who wants to kill himself. And then they'll take shots at one another until Ty stoops to bring up Jason's accident. Then they 'll both go quiet until Ty apoligizes and they forget the whole arguement and come back in here like nothing happened."
Felicia sighed and nodded. " Used to be a regular occurence before Jason left, except the accident part." She stood up and started for the door. " But I'll go make sure."
Mikey looked at Will Their fights sound just like my parents He grinned, drawing curious looks from Ashley and Dimitri.
Janey grinned. "So's Dimitri, among other things." She giggled. " So I guess he can't be all bad. I'll be okay with this, just need some time to ..." She clammed up, staring at the doorway.
Felicia popped in around the corner. " Have you two seen Tyler and Jason?"
Janey shook her head and Felicia continued on. Janey whispered. " She's got four arms. That's just... it'll take me alot of time to be okay with this."

Alice shakes her head at Felicia "No, I haven't seen them" Turning back to Jane, she sighs inwardly but tries to keep in mind that Jane's gotten a lot of shocks in the last little while and tries to be patient. Smiling gently, she says "It's ok if it takes you some time, Janey, but it helps to try to be open minded. Felicia is one of the sweetest people I've ever met. People that have powers or extra limbs.. well, we don't ask for these things. They just happen, for whatever reason." Alice shrugs "I guess it helps to keep that in mind."

Janey starts to say something, then stops and looks at Alice. after a moment. " You said we... you mean you really are a ... meta? " Her curiousity getting the better of her now," what's it really like?"

Alice is quiet as she stares at her hands for a minute. "Yeah, I am one." At Jane's question, she shrugs her shoulders "I'm still getting used to it myself. I grew up thinking I was a regular person and only recently discovered that I'm not. I.. I guess it's ok. I'm still learning what I can do."

Janey was about to say something when Felicia shouted from another room. " Tyler! Put him down!"
Ashley heard the same thing, and jumped up from her chair and started from the room.

Tyler is putting Jason back in a chair by the time anyone is drawn by Felicia's shout. Both of them are glaring at each other, but neither say anything. finally Tyler storms off in a huff with Fel trailing, leaving Jason with an upset look, staring at the ceiling

"I said it was going to get worse." William sighs to the empty room. After Ashley leaves, he heads off to find Tyler first.
Getting there, he pushes past Felicia with unexpected for, and jabs a finger in Tyler's chest. "Just what the hell were you thinking?" He says with drill-sargeant's voice. "You were just gonna toss your brother around to see your point of view? Haven't you got it in your head by not that he never will? Or, were you just expecting that if you beat the snot out of him, you'ld never have to face the fact that he doesn't think like you? Well?"

Alice approaches Jason hesitatantly and puts her arms around his shoulders lightly, giving him a gentle hug. She starts to ask if he's ok, but can plainly see that he isn't, so she continues to gently hug him quietly.
