"What the heck was that?" Krisitan said as he stepped up beside Isamu.
" Later." Avi said with a smile. " Time to bring the house down. You two back out of here" He brushed passed his teammates, his fists starting to glow.
"What are you going to do?" Kristian called after Avi, who was almost to the Brethren members. His answer came when the corridor erupted in a violent explosion, causing the ceiling to cave in behind Avi.
[Sierra, Siobhan and Tom]
The entire building shuddered and the lights flickered as the three continued towards the odd corner. Through their quick observations, Sierra noticed there was something odd about the floor that almost made it look like the tiles were more like plates of some sort.
Tom on the other hand, noticed in the mirror that there was something built into the wall at the far end. It was hard to make out for certain, but it looked like a weapon of some sort
[Outside]
Rusty would have tried to get out of the way, but she spent too much time focused on Trevor to get out of the way in time. The pole piledrived Rusty to the ground. She cried out, struggling to get out from under the pole. As Long held the pole, he could see Rusty's armor flickered again, and then faded away.
"Hey! Let her go!" Bellowed one of the people in front of the building as it shuddered from something going on inside. Compare to Long, the guy was a hulking brute, and he was fleeing like everyone else. Long also noticed that the giant Panek's rampage had ended around the corner just after the newcomer showed up.

*she will see if she can punch the floor tile and see what's underneath it. she's not sure what is wrong, but this hall just seems wrong. then she recalls the odd signature with Deci ' . . . oh god . . i know his . . its . . its Brethren . . from before . . Raig . . ?'

Tom nods. "Yeah, it's a trap. I see something behind the mirror." Using his magnetic talents, he tries to pull the weapon into clear view.

Siobhan, who had fallen back a bit, eases forward along side Tom and Sierra. Crouching, she tries to take a better look at the oddness of the floor that Sie pointed out, while keeping her natural 'motion sensor' reflexes (from Vibration Control) at the ready, just in case.

Long pounces on Rusty and, considering that she is no longer armored, gives her a good wallop on the head to knock her out. (Not at all sure what I should roll or even if I should roll for damage or how long she's out for)
Then Long looks at the muscle-bound brute that just showed up and goes into a battle stance.
"Stop right there! You are under arrest!"

[Inside]
Watching the reflection in the mirror, Tom , Si and Siobhan could see what he was pulling forward. Mounted on a large cart were two machine guns, both pointed down the hallway towards them. Siobhan realized the floor was pressure sensitive , but before she could warn, Sierra's punch caused the two guns to come to life, a burst of heavy gunfire riddling the wall and shattering the mirror over Si's head.

It didn't take much to knock out Rusty without her armor. The brute on the other hand, didn't seem impressed. "Please. Your giant turncoat out front wasn't much of a threat, so why would I be scared of you?" Unlike Rusty however, he didn't charge in to attack Long. Instead he moved into a defensive stance, then beckoned Long with a cocky smirk.

"OK, that's got to stop." Tom tosses the guns so they point at the floors and tries to smash it to pieces.

Isamu starts to answer Kristian, "Kaiju..." until Avery takes off down the hall, he yells, "Avery wait..." but realizes he is too late.
When the ceiling collapses he says to Kristian, "we must dig him out," before making his way to the pile of rumble and beginning to dig through it.

Without taking his eyes off the new brute or leaving his defensive stance, Long cautiously walks over to where Trevor is laying on the ground and calls out to him. If there is no response he will go to one knee and reach down to give Trevor a light slap on the face. "Trevor! Are you still with me?" Never taking eyes off of the new opponent.

"Never better." Trevor groaned without moving. "Getting electrocuted always livens me up." despite his smart remarks, he didn't look like he was going to be much help.
The brute circles just as Long does, heading to Rusty. But instead of checking on her, he hoists her over his shoulder and begins backing away.
[Inside]
Tom easily flips over the cart so the guns are pointed down, and when he does, the control unit between them slid onto the floor, pulling away wiring.
"He must have a plan, Isamu." Kristian said, even though he sounded concerned. There was a second, smaller blast on the other side of the debris. " He's okay obviously, maybe..., wait, Is, does your earth control work on bricks and concrete? Maybe Avi was counting on you giving him a way out?"

Isamu says, "I do not know. I did not believe I could control someone turned into stone until today."
He holds his hands until the debris and focuses on pulling the debris back and having it stack against the walls.

Long can clearly see that this fight is over and taking care of Trevor is more important than making sure Rusty is arrested. After they are gone, Long picks up Trevor and carries him back to the vehicles. Laying him on the seat Long does whatever first aid you're supposed to do for electrocution.

While Long was bandaging him up, Trevor shook his head slowly, " You let her go to worry about me? No wonder they sent you undercover, you're too soft to arrest anyone." He looked at the badages. " This is embarrassing. My powers turn me into a fireball, and you have to treat me for burns." He groaned," Story of my life I guess."
Long did catch sight of something else. The police were starting to form a wide perimeter around the area.
[Inside]
With the guns disabled, the corridor looked clear despite the sensors in the floor plates. Sierra could feel the metas around the corner falling back, to gform a group of six waiting for them. Two she recognized, Deth and Klaxon.
As Isamu began to try to move the debris, it erupted outwards towards them, showering both Is and Kristian with debris ( dmg [dice=6][dice=6] ) to reveal Avi covered in dust and grime. He sputtered, " shoddy construction, don't they have building codes or something? Sorry guys, wasn't expecting the ceiling to cave in behind me ." He looked no worse for wear.
