No worries here, never saw the Mythbusters as much of a role model

Hey, anyone that can blow up a cement truck and still be allowed two fire arms at a time and still be within 2 feet of Obama should be a role model. Just not for games.

Well to be fair your dealing with a couple of nerdy engineers, not professional mercenaries/special forces/hitmen/goverment superspies and other types of characters portrayed in Hollywood.Guys who are at the absolute top of their game. Your typical special forces guy for example isn't just *A* SEAL or whatever but supposed to be the elite within that elite, and usually dusting dozens of other similarly skilled special forces guys, etc... Now to be fair it's fantasy, but I don't think a lot of the things shown are nessicarly impossible, although doing them all seamlessly and reliably one after another is something else entirely. I'd put more faith in this if they say brought up some of the experts from say the show "Top Shot" to try it and say it couldn't be done, then I might believe it. Largely because those guys are world class marksmen involved in a tournament and are your array of SWAT team guys, special forces dudes, and various firearms experts from other contests and tournaments.

Well, you can't do it if you do it "hollywood" style - but if you do use one hand at a time you could empty several guns into different targets in rapid succession.... www.youtube.com/watch?v=xRXXxQ1OuDc&feature=relatedBut yeah, shooting while moving or shooting two targets at the same time is just like driving and talking on your cell phone while drunk.

Exactly. As an anthropology major, think it helps to consider the groups that used two weapons consistently, like kung fu masters and old west gunsliingers. Each group practiced up to six hours a day starting from a young age.
They developed special techniques to control their weapons, for example gunfighters normally shot from the hip rather than bringing the gun up and sighting along the barrel. Because they did not use their eyes to line up and aim, using two guns would have been less confusing for them.

But, that's just it. Every post, so far, has shown that reality trumps the Matrix for gunplay.
Also, it's cool to learn these things.
What about the arm-over-arm thing?
