Then we're at least on the same page. ;D Also, smiley faces help Editted to add an extra smiley. You know, because I can't talk with my hands while I'm typing. Back to character concepts. Honestly, I'ld go classic Dragon and possible a Great Horned Dragon. Because Smaug's offspring might have been nice people.

Unfortunately Dragon is going to be the one thing I would probably say no to. Unless....unless..... It is a fairy dragon that is 2 feet long and sparkles in the sunlight.

Which kind of feet? Also, does this ruling include hatchlings (might have been implied, but I wanted to be clear )?

Fraid it does include hatchlings, if you jump on later we can discuss it.
Feet would be flutterby type and sparkles would be the same as a twilight vampire.

Actually don't tempt me with the Fairy Dragon if he rejects it. I've played Fey Folk before, and always thought Lockheed in the X-men was kind of amusing. You (or perhaps the other PCs more accuratly) would not want to deal with the mischief I could cause with that by being another PC's pet (read X-men for inspiration). Sparkles included (and really, fairies are supposed to sparkle, it's not as ridiculous for them as Vampires). Err, umm now that aside here are a few character concepts based on what I was reading. I'd have to find where it's written up, but there was a power somewhere for animating drawings. Playing a Bard/Minstrel type focused on painting with that as a magical talent (despite it being defined as a super power) could be fun. The two minors would also let me boost attributes if the dice are unkind (such characters generally need high MA and PB for the charm bonuses). The expense of paint, canvas, parchment, etc... alone would justify attending the academy to refine the talent. The character might not realize it can work on a stone wall with a piece of charcoal (if it does, I'd have to find the power again). An Alchemist (shades of Mana Khemia) could be fun. I'm not sure if they ever made an OCC for that (for players), but if allowed (since it goes beyond the scope of what's listed here) I believe there is a mystic-blacksmith type character in Mystic Russia that might work. The tech skills and so on would have to be adjusted for period-appropriate ones and as I believe the character is sort of a priest it would have to be re-defined as a talent or linked to one of the PFRPG deities. The character could be paying for tuition by forging, and also there to learn how to make other things (like potions) in hopes of one day getting versatile enough to open a full fledged alchemy shop with the full range of abillities of NPC alchemists. Adventuring being a sideline (and of course hauls of treasure help for financing the start of such a venture). A third possibility might involve me trying to sell you on letting me play Bellephoebe (from EU, currently in Harriers). To be honest the harriers game is dying and I've never really had much luck finding a decent RP-oriented or support-character friendly game where I could play her. Backround wise her family was high nobles from the Palladium world during the time of a thousand magics, she might have gone there to research geneology. As a High Magus she has no problems TEACHING magic and might actually fit in as one of the faculty/ a new teacher. She's also little more than a girl herself (putting the age into perspective for an elf) and could also be there learning some lower level spells (her weakness) if permitted. Not to mention she could also teach a degree of engineering given her tech skills if someone DID want to play a tinkerer. Just an off handed possibility, I hate to abandon Albatross but he hasn't had much luck finding new players, I get the impression from some other posts Shiivster might be leaving, and really after a year I have no idea what is going on overall since the game largely seemed to move from a null-magic wasteland to a pitched battle against the armies of hell where massive godlike NPCS are jousting for the fate of reality while Bellephoebe works around the edges and Aki tries to save the universe through the clever application of small furry animals and thrown feces (and no, I'm not kidding, thank you Sapphire for leaving us... we could have used youuuu! noes!). At any rate there are a few possibilities, I can come up with more of them if need be. I considered suggesting a peasant named "Clark" with extraordinary speed, supernatural strength, and eye lasers.... but that would get old quickly.

Another person and I are having a discussion on this game as we speak, he has an idea that may work and I would be willing to co-gm it. Please stand by.

Quick question...
What is a concpet anyways? I mean I've seen conc shells, and I'm not sure they'd make good pets out of water, so does that mean all pc's get their own aquarium to look after?
LOL
