Alex puts down her Spawn comic and looks up at the stack before her eyes go really wide at the stack and starts to speak almost to herself silently. "Wow I allow myself one of these a week, yet so many at once." Realizing that is not her concern she stops herself posing the question. "Lieutenant. As much as I would love to read this stack might I point out, if I am not out of line that perhaps another approach of how superhrero's and villians interact might be better achieved by interactive programs such as city of heroes or other hero based videogames/simulators might be more advantageous." She then goes silent realizing she may have spoken out of turn.

"Mr. Simmons, if you will make a list of what you need, including your preferred weapon, I believe Mr. Ramirez can provide. May I suggest the Anzio 20-mike mike? Something smaller perhaps like an M107? If you favor a smaller caliber, the M24, M25 and M40 are also easily obtained. Ghillie suits, cammies and whatever you need can be acquired, I should think."
His gaze, or lack there of, cut from the silver-haired sniper in a snap and fell on Alex's jaw. "My PS3 collection has favored many superhero games of late, yet at the same time, I find little realism, similar to these books. Keep them, and read at your leisure. I've read them all, and found little use. If you do not find any tactical dogma, then I bid you, read them for pleasure. I suppose that was their purpose from the word go. They are not for me."

Observing all of this, McKenzie can't help but giggle a little at Forbes responses to all the comments and questions. Clearing her throat quickly, she looks to the rest and gives a little shrug. "Don't let the doctor House approach fool you, we're in good hands." she comments then, before shrugging again slightly.
"While I did volunteer to be in this program, I didn't really have too much choice. I don't think I could have gone back to civie life." McKenzie then explains, looking around. "Being able to do.. what I can makes it all the more important for me to protect those who can't protect themselves, right?"

Simmons shrugs, "guess it depends on the mission LT. Different missions call for different kit. May not always need an Overwatch or long range man. Sometimes close and quiet is just as good as far and messy. The things I can do with a bow and arrow..." he says as his voice takes this reminiscing tone before he shakes it off and says. "Although the M107 is a nice weapon. I'll be sure to want one on standby for those special cases."

McKenzie flashes a grin to Simmons. "Unfortunately I'm not very well know for being quiet... I don't get a lot of opportunity flying helis or driving armored vehicles." she interjects. "And when I use my power well.. stealth is pretty much out the window."

Simmons just returns the grin and says, "is that so." What he thinks though is, 'this is going to be a long assignment, and it may just be my toughest one yet, and I was just teaching at an inner city school,' the whole time just smiling and nodding.

" We all got recruited for what we bring to the table, and complement each other in the field." Ramirez said. " Issacson can do the infiltrations when need be, and I do the sneaking with my invisibility. McKenzie, you're the wrecking crew to haul us out if things go bad." He smirked.

A quick nod to Ramirez. "Thats my specialty, of course. I figure I'll be responsible for on-site transportation as well?" she suggests, sitting up a little. "I've been laid up and off-duty for quite awhile, I'm anxious to get back behind the stick." the army aviator adds, right hand instintively making a gripping motion. "I finished my re-certification just before heading out for this meeting."

"I am sure we were. Squad make up works best when the team can cover each other," he says in an agreeable tone.
Changing the conversation slightly he says, "so any one have any word on our first mission?"

"I believe we will be needing a helicopter, so when we land, I will be requisitioning something for you, McKenzie. I'm sure we will have access to the military fleet when we're deployed, but Black Hawks and Little Birds stand out stateside. We will likely have means and opportunity to acquire additional airlift capability, but a standard helo that does not stand out with civilian craft, and is C-130 and C-17 portable would be useful. I am not sure if we have a budget for improving vehicles, but if so, I think what I have in mind will please your sensibilities."
His almost gaze turned to Simmons. "I wish I could tell you yes, but I've not been briefed either. Apparently something is afoot, and something serious, or they would let HRT, Delta or Lane's colleagues in the CIA to deal with it most severely."

Alex stays sitting not offering anything anything and letting the three who seem to be in charge talk it out. She does however put her comic down favouring a pad of paper and taking notes both of what is said and possibly said and what is going on.

Ramirez looked at Forbes and mused," We could pick up a Hind cheap, everyone else is. I heard we get have a pretty good operating budget." At the questions about a mission, he clammed up.
The pilot came over the loud speaker, " We've been cleared to land. We'll be descending in five minutes, so buckle up. The wether is crummy at Langley, but we've been cleared for a hangar."

"Mil-24 assault helicopter gunship. Manufactured by Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant. Total payload, 1,500 kilograms. NATO reporting name: Hind. Russian Army nickname: Krokodil. A good gunship, armored and armed to the teeth. Top speed 335 kmph, within specification designated for Spirit helicopter. Unsuitable however, as except among Russian, Warsaw Pact and select satellite nations of the former Soviet Union, the Mil-24 would hardly be subtle."
Forbes produces a pocket notebook and begins to draw out specifications. "We need a principally civilian type, with some military application, composite construction, four-to-five blades for audio stealth, lift capability for some light to medium mounted weapons, and capacity to haul an eight-to-ten member team plus gear..."

Simmons rises at the mention of landing, "if you'll excuse me, going to the restroom."
He gets up and walks down the isle to the restroom. Whether the plane hits turbulence or not he walks as if it does not bother him, keeping his straight line.

"I was thinking a Mi-35, but damned near the same." Ramirez said. " British SAS team I spent some time training with had a Lynx for transport. On par with a Bell, but faster and smoother ride. Looked civilian enough to me."
The plane began to descend just as Simmons closed the washroom door.
