He saw Julia loading up on first aid, Lane grabbing a bat, and everyone else loading up at the electronics shop.

Stuffed with bags and cases and ammo crates, the Hummvee pulled back into the hangar, stopping next to another vehicle . The maitenance crew was just finishing up and packing their gear as a man in acustom fit Allen David suit stepped from the second vehicle, a black limosene and were immediately flanked by heavily armed security. Behind him, the door remained open.
(want to move along. Armory visit skipped so just add to equipment thread your requests if any than those on pc sheet)

"Hey Simmons. That looks like your Charlie on the speaker phone. Look at that detail he's got with him."
She waited for the Major, Forbes and Ramirez to exit and examined the limousine. The President's limo was known as "The Beast" because it would take no less than a hellfire missile to even scuff the paint. It was easily recognizable as a two-or-three-of-a-kind armored vehicle. She compared the limo to what she knew of the beast, wondering if she was about to meet the President.

Forbes stepped out of the vehicle, and waited for the Major. He surveyed the protection detail, assessing weapons, training and any insignia they showed on clothing or tattoos, and waited for everyone else without a word.

Hearing that it could be the president, Alex decides to hold off on her apology. She does prepare as a soldier would to meet the president.

Seeing the limo, Julia raises an eyebrow wondering if it is, in fact, the president. Curious, Julia waits for whomever is in the limo to step outside, wondering if it is the person who will be giving the team their first assignment.

"sorry to dissappoint," replied a woman's voice sliding from the limo. The Vice President stepped out beside her Secret service detail," but the President couldn't get free of his G12 summit to greet you. So I have the honor. We wanted to make clear how thankful we are for what you are about to undertake on behalf of not only your own country, but the entire free world. In this day and age, we need heroes to beleive in, and your team truly are heroes." She offered a salute to the team.

Forbes snapped to attention seeing the vice president. As he was not in uniform, and the veep outranked him anyhow, he did not return the salute. The major was senior officer, so he let him do the talking. For now, he was content to listen and learn.

(Sorry for the lack of contribution all week, its been a long one)
Exiting the humvee, McKenzie looked around cautiously, wondering just who they might be dealing with; a lot of security, could it really be THE Commander-in-Chief?
Seeing that it was the VP, McKenzie relaxes a little. Mirroring the lieutenant, she snaps to attention and the, because she is somewhat in uniform (multicam, as mentioned in OOC ahwile back) immediately salutes the VP. That salute is repeated after the VP's speech and her salute to them. While she does want to speak, she waits for the Major, knowing that it is his perogative.

Lane was not a soldier anymore and was CIA. Her mission was to look as non-military as possible. She smiled at the vice-president and gave a dutiful nod. Then she looked up and awaited orders.She stood with only the slightest slump.

Having not dropped her salute, Alex is happy to be meeting anyone at all, the most she ever met in her life was the mayor and he was at her trial for what had happened. This however was a new thing to her and her excitement was barely being contained.

The VP dropped her salute and motioned to Major Randle, who nodded, snapped a salute and headed for the plane. She then motioned to her secret service escorts and they backed off and her aide got back into the limo and closed the door. The VP smiled, " Now, you can speak freely, but I want you to know you have the complete support of the nation at your disposal, and we'll do what we can to have our allies assist you when you go out of the country. I know every one of you are going above and beyond the call of duty just by joining this project, and I wish we could give you official recognition for that, but you all know that is not possible." She offered Lt. Forbes a list. " Make sure you put these in a secure phone's speed dial. Anyone questions your authority, I'm sure someone on this list can help you out."
When Forbes looked, the first number on the list was the president's private number, followed by most of the top people in washington, military and agencies within the US.

Forbes scanned the list, then looked up at the veep, making eye contact. "Sir yes sir. Uh ma'am."
His phone was mostly blank, except for his father, and a few guys from Delta. Forbes immediately began entering numbers with code names. For instance, the president was Uncle Barry. The DDI of the CIA was David Ingle. The Chairman of the JCS was Cousin James.

Saying nothing, Lane watched the Vice President interact with Forbes. Apparently, someone cared about the mission enough to send the very best. Whomever was out there, it was more than narcoterrorists.

Julia smiles politely and returns the VP's salute. She then listens carefully as the VP talks, getting more curious about what this mission is going to be about.
