HU: Agencies
Each PC comes from a player's pet agency, with that agency providing an ability focus (cyborgs, aliens, mutants, catering).
The GM takes over the agency's bosses, and then euns a multi-levelled HU game of competition, intrigue, betrayal and, most importantly, heroics.

HU2: Battle!
I was watching Spiderman Unlimited (don't judge me!) and it occurred to me that most one-hero series are basically just a series of super-powered gunfighters gunning to be top dog.
So, you know, a bunch increasingly-powerful folk flattening cities dueling to be top dog!
Winner uses their PC in the next round. Loser gets to choose something more powerful.

Lego Phase world You get your Phase world PC as usual (mage, pilot, mega-nerfed super-ultra-Kreeghoor-Psi-warrior-juicer), but all gear, including the PC's appearance, are limited to 100 pieces per level (which means, by level 9, you can build things like this). This isn't a master builder game, but an opportunity for players to make their gear for their PC. Otherwise, it's normal Phase World. |

Iron Mechanic!
Players are given a setting, budget and theme, each week, produce a creation according to that theme (images unnecessary).
Creations are then judged by a panel (or perhaps just the GM).
Possibilities included modded robots, ATB vehicles, or even Splicer armours!
Winner earns bragging rights!

The GM then hurl poisons, bullets, hundreds of thousands of LRMs and other tools of death until they're all dead.
The shortest game ever.
But at least you'ld get to play that PC.
