This is also a good place to throw around ideas if your PC is still a work in progress or your not sure what might work, be it powers or specialty. I'd like to see variety in the pc's MOS, but some overlap is expected and not a bad thing

Im still working out the exact details for McKenzie, but her MOS is primarily aviation, specficially helos but also non-jet aircraft (army as opposed to air force). Also well trained in light infantry/recon tactics. Powers-wise, she's a tank/juggernaut, so to speak: APS metal and various physical enhancements. No ranged powers, but she'd likely carry infantry support weapons (m240, mk19, etc) into engagements.

I was thinking about making a medic, but wanted to make sure no one else was already.

I'm working on a no nonsense soldier with deep military tradition in his back ground. Airborne Ranger Sniper.

As of right now I'm torn between a combat engineer or psy ops specialist. Well, either one of those or an alien character in a teal'c-esque vein from stargate.

Silvanus: I'd love a sapper! So far, nobody's strong in EOD. We could use that.
Dome: No nonsense and military background? Forby will love the guy.
Mierin: Medics are essential in an SDC game. Remember the Marine battle cry, "Corpsman Corpsman!"

*nod* I agree a medic would be a really good thing to have. Just want to make sure no one else in the game is making one so I don't spent my time making a PC that doesn't get used.

@ silvanus: far be it for me to suggest, but it seems like a lot of EOD's use cold, like liquid nitrogen, to freeze bomb batteries and fuses to delay a chemical reaction. APS Ice perhaps? That would be pretty awesome. Enhanced PP is pretty much a good one for a sapper. Hit me up, let's talk.

Im almost done my character; mostly tweaking skills a bit here and there, making sure all my Ts are crossed and i's dotted.

you'll be able to draw equipment every mission, but if there's a favorite playtoy, etc, take it now, especially if something that wouldn't be readily available

No I was debating playing someone with Divine healing, but as I had not solidified my decision when you put up your request for a doctor, I decided not to go that route and hold off till I have time to think. So by all means play the doctor.
