*steps back* -= its light up there, and too much space between the house and here .. i dont wanna get picked up by the Brethren .. northe cops .. or another of those agent guys that got ashley .. but if you want .. fine .. lets go =-
*pauses and turns about to look up the ladder once again and tries to contain her fears* 'it comes up beside an old movie theatre .. its a strip joint now, so you never know whats in the alley when the top goes up .. one of the reasons i didn't wanna go up here .. but i guess its the saferspots.
*starts up the ladder again and pauses as she hears voices above talking about various things, and the sound of liquid splashing against the wall* -= eww .. i think this may take awhile .. =- *then goes back below to wait until the two guys have finished their business and squats with her back to the tunnel wall and hugs the arms close to keep the body heat in
-= it will be about another 5 minutes .. sounds like bruno and one of his friends .. =-

"And for the record I'm 14 thank you very much! I've fought for these years I've been around. I deserve them." He says matter-of-factly. "But you've only got a couple of years on me... Oh, and I'm not the one who needs help with my journalism homework." Eric sticks out his tounge very childishly.

*waits until the sound of a door opening and then shutting out the loud swanky music from the Bar .. heads up the ladder once again .. then spends a bit more time peering thru the small grate thats covering the airhole then gets it open
-= looks safe to me .. so come on .. lets get this over and done with =-

Alice grins and sticks her tongue out at Eric. "I don't need help with my homework, thank you very much." She mutters under her breath, "Well, not much anyway." Out-loud, she then says "Besides, I seem to recall the offer to help me was a bribe so I'd stay with this lot of miscreants and not leave you alone with them." She grins at him.
Just then, the elevator reaches their destination, and she gets out and heads for the apartment.

William turns around, and sees Eric and Alice in the elevator. "See? THey all come back." He gives each of the two a good solid glare. "Even if they weren't supposed to leave in the first place."

Alice wilts a little under William's glare, but stands her ground as best as she can. "We did nothing wrong." she replies evenly. "We simply went and got some clothes. Jason was with us the whole time." Before anyone can ask, she adds "He went to get some supplies, and said he'd be back in an hour or so. Where did everyone go?" she asks "There were hardly any cars in the garage."

As the elvevator door opens and Will says they weren't supose to leave Eric says "You never told us not to leave, you just suggested otherwise. " The defiance in his voice is evident. Eric nods in agreement with Al as she adds in her comments.

*eases open the cover of the airshaft of the tunnel, and then moves out of the way to get Michael up and out before putting the cover back into place before heading to the deeper shadows*
-= well i know where we gotta go now, just a couple of blocks in plain view, now how to get there without being spotted by freaks is the next question =-
*'this way' .. *then moves along the alley towards a smaller path that leads between buildings -= hope yer not afraid of heights, cause we gotta go up shortly =- *arriving at the back of a building and then starts up the drain pipe -= this way .. gets us clear of the streets .. =-
*continues until she's at the top of the pipe and on the roof, turning to give Michael a hand up and retreating to the shadows again -= across the buildings to the far corner .. then down the back stairs to ... =- *gives the instructions on how to reach the safehouse the others are at, still unsure of how to get ashley back. now more than willing to get soaked and other stuff*

"Well, clearly, you children lack the sense to listen to a well-informed suggestion. So, now I will make it explicit. Do not leave unless Tyler or myself are with you." He turns back to Trevor. "I like you better than them, because at least you're insolent towards me for a good reason." And he walks back towards the living room.

*by taking the highline movements, and then on a stroke of luck across the interveening open spaces without getting spotted, leads Michael on a path leading away from the house for right now*
-= in case we're being followed. don't wannalead them right to the door =-
*then finally uses the basement windows of several buildings and moving like shadows in the gloomy spaces, finally emerges at the side of the building's parking lot. wet parts of the clothes now covered in wet dirt and spiderwebs and the tiny hosts that lived in them, finally makes her way inside and recalls as they head inside her voice echoing up the stairwell
'oh man .. wonder how peeved they gonna be? .. not like i planned that detour .. ' *then moves into sight .. bedraggled and mucky at the wrists, knees and toes .. dusty on other parts and webs about the hat and face*
'uhh .. hi?' *stopping in the tracks and nearly getting run over by an equally sorry looking Michael* -= not a word about who we saw .. he deserves his privacy .. not to mention i don't think the others would leave him alone =-

Eric looks to his right as he sees Sparks coming up the stairs. "Get ready for the old man to lecture you too." Eric ignores Will as he brushes past him and walks towards the kitchen.

Before Eric makes it to the kitchen, he finds himself in a rather firm fireman's carry on William's shoulder. "I recommend not struggling, Eric. I'm not in the mood to resist burning you to a crisp." He whisper, the truth of his words rattling in the young boy's ears.
"Everyone in the livingroom. Now." He says in a firm, paternal tone. And he'll wait in the hall, with the squiggling Eric, until everyone is in there, before going in and letting go. "You're free to look for Maria if you wish, Trevor." William waves Maria and Micheal into the room as well.

Alice had opened her mouth to tell William that he wasn't her father and had no right to ground her when she caught sight of Sparks and Michael. "You guys look like you had an adventure. Are you ok?" she asks.
At William's order, she glares at his back and slinks into the living room and sits on the couch, her arms folded under chest in a defensive position.

As Will reaches for Eric he notices exactly what he's doing a counts aleast 15 differant ways to counter it, but knowing its Williams disadvantage to underestimate his opponent he allows it. Eric puts no stuggle as he is carried to the living room. As he sits Eric down Eric says to him "Thanks, I didn't feel like walking anymore anyways."
Eric sits next to Al on the couch his arms are also crossed in a defensive manner. Noticing Trevor sitting there Eric asks him. "Hey, wheres Ice at?"

"Shut up, you arrogant, hapless, little twit." William barks at Eric, locking the door after Maria and Michael entered. "You're young. And clearly have no clue about the gravity of this situation. ANd explaining it once clearly wasn't enough. You are all in danger, whether you would choose to believe it or not. And certainly whether or not you think you've escaped scott free." He looks at the four newbees. "You foolish children have not come to realise that our moves are being watched. That there are people out there willing to hunt us like animals for their own gain. Some even for sport. Trevor is as apt to explain that here as I am."
"If you all think you are safe here, think again. If any of you think you're always a step ahead of the law, think again. The law here, is a step ahead of us. And always will be so long as it's run by the villains that killed the mayor." William paces the room, kicking couches for people's attention. The next pass he will not be so generous. His voice is taking on preadtory edges, and his eyes look at each of them, no longer seeing the people. "If any of you think this is easy, than you are nothing more than the future occupants of body bags."
"YOu have all been fortunate, even Trevor, to live in happier times." William says. "But that also means that none of you can accept the fact that every face out there is potentially the face of the one that would kill you. If you want to survive. You'll listen to me. And if I say 'no' it's for a good reason. If you don't want to survive, step up now. I'll end it here, and you won't need to wait any longer."
William takes a step back from the group, and conjures a silver-flamed fireball in his hand. "Well? Who's first?"
