"Yes. Cooler heads." *Agrees William* "What are the facts? because clearly I'm in the dark about a few things. We all know that Mara used Khris as a means to blow up the park. What i don't understand is: why did she do something so convoluted as her little 'I'm in charge' plot? If she wanted to kill the mayor with a public display of mutants, why not hire some mutant gang bangers and have them attack his house? Or have them cause trouble in the park? Or does she just not like doing things the easy way?"
*He looks around the room.* "And, now that at least two of us are enemies of the state, and the rest of you might as well be, we can't just stroll outside and get a popsicle. So, planning movements and not barging out there would help."

She crossed both pair as she leaned against the back of the seat. " Guess today was too much for her."
" Too bad today was only the start. " Ashley replied, shaking her head slightly before turning her attention to William. " Okay, so where do we start then? This is the first I've ever heard of this Mara person so thats a dead end. What about the park, or we try to reach Khris?"
" Forget it. " Terri replied, ending her cell call and tucking it back in her pocket. " His cell is turned off, and he checked out of his hotel room early this morning. "
" Figures." Tyler grumbled.

*William smirks at this news* "He wasn't the only one. Old habits will die hard. OK. So, what do you know about this transit? And do any of you know a guy who'ld go around in a trench coat, and work for the likes of Mara? Thing is, she's not a dead end... not because I'm after her, but because she was hired to bring this all about." *He takes a thoughtful breath* "If what Tyler says is true, then this is a major bid..." *His brow suddenly furrows* "Does anyone know who'll run these new teams they want to use? Will they be all-norm? or mixed?"

*stirs slightly at being picked up andthen curls up into a tight ball on the couch, out of instinct. while another part of her brain argues that she's safe, a second part screams to get up and defend herself.
*finally cracks an eye open to eer about sleepily and then mumbles 'how'ld i get here? .. *then yawns trying to wake up now, and blinks sleepily
*then slowly sits up and takes off the cap, letting the mane of hair free and scratches at the scalp

Pausing for a moment, Tyler shook his head at her before responding. " Look, I know you're only doing you're thing, but this just came outta left field. We don't know who's behind any of it. We were kinda busy on a couple wild goose chases while you were playing in the park.
Trevor chuckled at Sparks slightly. " We didn't want you to fall over."

*stretches and then looks up at the ceiling and then spots Felicity with the 4 crossed arms
*blinks a couple of times while the information slowly comes into place 'holyshh ... *leaps of the couch and stares at the arms .. 'oh .. i wasn't imagining things .. sorry .. *then sits back down
'all i know is that the'*insert gang mane here*' wanted to stop me from going someplace, or wanted me to go with them or something .. but that was after the action in the park and before Kodiak found me ..
'so i gotta ask .. who has a line on the Mayor's activities? .... thats all, makes you wonder don't it? .. for someone who's too busy to deal with people on the streets, how would his schedule become known?
*looks about and then scratches at the head again, and once done, extends the claws on the hands and then wipes them off and replaces the cap
