Balus took in what Krystal was saying as he ate, and suddenly became self conscoius as she mentioned he'd eat enough for them both. He paused a moment until he caught the smirk and replied, " I can't help it if I need to eat alot. Look at the size of me," stuck out his tongue, and resumed eating.

Balus parents serve up a lot of food. You both notice that neither of Balus siblings are present.

Between mouthfuls, Balus couldn't help but ask," No school today? Where's the rest of the herd, mom?"

Krystal had actually thought that too, but decided to stay silent as it may be improper for her to speak on the matter. She almost wonders if something negative will come of this actually because of the situation that happened earlier and with that scans Balus's parents while quickly brushing it off as probably not, but not knowing them still is unsure.

Fegh stands in line as part of the Captain's procession keeping an eye on the new crew members. He watches as the new young lady suits up in her power armor. He doesn't like the idea of allowing an armed civilian free reign of the ship, yet he could not deny that some of the civilians he recently worked with were more than trustworthy.
As he waits for the demonstration his mind flashes back to the bomber and Crystal's resourceful use of her powers to force the bomber away saving his life as well as the hostages.

Once fully armored, Kassidy does a complete systems check, which takes about thirty seconds. Satisfied, she turns to face the group, offering a stiff salute to the Captain. "Do you have any particular demonstration in mind, sir?" she asks, her voice modulated slightly.

"Use your imagination" The captain folds his armor. Fegh, you can tell major Trokyr is looking you over.
"Gil is...hanging out with a friend." Balus' mom tries to break delicately. 'And Treena..." She sighs, and takes a deep breath. "Balus, honey, she's in the hospital. It seems, she's...kind of like you."

Fegh, it's the Major, not hte Captain who's looking at you.
There are some test targets in the area, Kassidy, and it's a large, mostly empty Military hangar

Krystals face hangs for a second or two as this new revelation occurs. Seeing she is not their family perse she realizes that best in mind would be stay silent and react for Balus. She is not sure what to feel however as this was t5he same girl who actually fawned over her even if it was only for a moment or two.

The Major simply looks over Fegh. "I was impressed with your work in the hostage situation - direct confrontation didn't strike me as your style."
The captain waits as Kassidy finishes suiting up.
"She's fine...she's just...different" Balus mother responds.
"Not the same as you - but she has manifested. The doctors are simply looking over her. Standard procedure." His father adds.

Fegh nods and responds, "thank you sir however, I failed that encounter. Had I truly been successful no one would have lost their life. As it is, I am only alive because of the efforts of Corporal Balus, and Engineer Crystal."

"Perhaps Balus. If you want we should head over there just to cheer her up or do anything she needs. She might be happy to see her big brother after all." Krystal says mostly just to be supportive of Balus in this time. She does think to herself when she herself was sent to the hospital though she does not remember imagines Richol being worried at the child that would not eat.
