Having been checked out and cleaned up at the terminal, Krystal and Balus are given some clean clothing and discharged. A military hover vehicle, driven by a rather corpulent Seerman Lance Sargent who won't stop talking about his wife's latest surgical needs, is bringing you to Balus' family's place.
Kassidy, you stand ready for inspection in the military hangar - your armor neatly tucked away in a corner, freshly polished. You've heard all the legends about Captain Jhon Roben - the last surviving bridge officer of the Javelin, now captain of the Victory, possibly the only hope Seeron has of survival, and you want to impress him.

Although she has no formal military training, Kassidy's years of living among the science community has instilled in her an odd sense of discipline; not really the same as a military grunt or officer, but discipline all the same. Standing at as crisp an attention as she can, she cautiously looks about the hanger, trying to take in whatever else might be around, people or equipment wise.
Unfortunately, the woman's nervousness is given away by how s he occasionally fidgets, shifting her weight back and forth from heel to heel.

Krystal is a little confused why they are on the way to Balus's parents house instead of hers for her home cooked dinner, but also realizes there is no way he could have planned this considering the day. Taking a moment to also be mildly worried about going to his parents again, especially in clothes that are probably more military then her very own coveralls which would be far more comfortable.

Balus sat quietly, reflecting on the previous events. Absently, he put his arm around Crystal to hold her close. He could help but look down at the new uniform and mumble," Do you think it's possible that one of these days I'll be able to wear a uniform more than once?" He couldn't help but chuckle.

The military driver brings Balus and Krystal to Balus' parents place, as he finishes yet another story about his wife's next surgery.
Kassidy hears the sounds of marching footsteps as the hangar door opens, and she sees several odd silhouettes against the midday sun.

Balus saw the opportunity to escape," Thanks for the lift, Sergeant," he said as he got out quickly," Hopefully every works out in the end." Waiting for Krystal to get out, he'll then head inside. something to eat and then some rest was his main objective.

"Hope your wife feels better!" Krystal adds with an expedient exit as well. Noticing Balus seems to be in a rather large hurry she lets herself be dragged into the place. Before they get in she thinks to herself hoping that they do know that the two of them are coming.

Kassidy straightens up a little, uncertain of what to expect. Brows furrowing, she peers towards the silhouettes, doing her best to make them out, but remaining silent otherwise.

Balus and Krystal get up to Balus' parents loft, and they are immediately hugged by his parents on arrival. "Thank heavens you're ok! We heard on the news and -" They struggle to find words.
Kassidy, you see the profile of Captain Jhon Roben, as well as a monstrous Biofreak by his side. They walk forward with an entourage, stopping just short of your position. The Captain scans you with his eyes. "Alright miss. You've got 90 seconds to explain why I should let an armed civilian on my ship. Go."

Balus smiled as he saw his parents as worried about Krystal as they were about him," It's okay, we're both fine. We just need to clean up and get some rest is all. I guess the news blew everything out of porportion," he tried to downplay the events.

Krystal was a little wierded out by the attention she was getting from Balus's parents as usually the only person that fussed over her was Richol and she is not sure what he would say right now. "Yes some rest would be lovely. And definitely some clean..." She halts herself realizing she has nothing with her in her comfort zone that is clean. Almost wishing she did go to her apartment first now, but knowing that would be completely rude she decides to bite as long as she can on her obsession and fight it. Especially if she gets clean.

A little startled by the brusqueness of the Captain sorder, Kassidy nearly steps back a pace. Swallowing, she then nods quickly. "Sir, I've possession and elite training in a state of the art power armor suit, designed to face our enemy head on or to provide support for other operatives. I've also got pilot training in other civilian and military aircraft, paramedic training including xenbiology." Kassidy then adds; after a moments pause, she finishes. "I'm not just some random scientist or civilian, siir. I have more than enough skills to be useful. Not to mention the.." she glances to her armoured suit, "the AT-X1."

The Captain eyes the exoskeleton. "Are you prepared to give us a demonstration?"
Balus's parents bring Balus and Krystal to the table. they make sure that Krystal's seat allows the light from the sunroof to come down. "we know you don't eat honey, but we figure we should at least be as hospitable as possible. Is there anything else we can do?"

Still being exhausted from the entire ordeal is impressed how much they actually remembered and even taken into account for her. "No, you have already been too kind. And I should say, although I imagine you already know I can eat it just does not sit well. I imagine it was a bugger for Richol when I was a baby for him. Actually I do not need to imagine as I was told as such by him many a time when he is having fun. Although at least he never does it in the shop, but I imagine that is more for his sake of him being looked at by his underlings as taking care of a baby. But I am talking to much as you have been too kind. Besides, I imagine Balus has a healthy enough appetite for the two of us." Saying the last part as she looks at Balus with a smirk hoping she knows he is ribbing him.
"Truth be known I love to eat but can't really stomach it. But that is besides the point, as I promised Balus I would cook for him. It is too bad Richol is busy all week, as I know he is probably kicking himself for not being able to taste my cooking. I really do know he loves it, and I am hoping Balus does too!" She says allowed not knowing the truth behind what Richol had said about her cooking.

Kassidy offers the Captain a quick and confident nod. "Of course, Sir. It will take a few minutes to get suited up and ready, but after t hat I can put 'er through the paces for you." she replies. Relaxing a little, the young woman moves to the armor, giving it a little pat.
