" whaddya want?" Comes thru the door over the roar of some game show on the TV. Dan shook his head. " That old coot is deaf. A bomb could go off in the next room and he wouldn't know it."

Eric shrugs off Dan "its worth a shot."

Dan laughed, but said nothing. The landlord appeared down the hallway and shouted. " Hey, you kids get outta there. I called the cops."

Eric heads over the the Landlord "Sorry Mister, but did you see what happened in there? I was looking for my friend and I don't know where she is." Eric has a look of a little boy pleaing for his mother. "Mister please I'm really worried"

" No, I don't know what happened or where she is. That's the way I found it." He looks up the hall at Dan and yells, " Was it you? I heard you two fighting last week."
Dan shook his head. " It wasn't me, I haven't talked to Deanna since then."
"Oh yeah, tell the cops that." The landlord replied as a siren approached outside.

Eric heads over to Dan. "We should probably get out of here.." He hears the sirens " and quick too." Eric starts to head out the back hoping that Dan is following.

As they reach the front of the building, the police pull up just as they exit . Eric easily gets out before they can get out of their cars, but Dan is caught by one as he tried to pass. As Eric watches, one of the men that had followed Neal climbed from one of the patrol cars. He looked at Dan, then at a picture in his hand and nodded. The officer detaining Dan led him to the back of the squad car and forced him inside. The man from the library got back in the cruiser and it quickly pulled away, leaving the two other cars at the scene, some talking to the landlord on the stairs as others went inside.

Eric follows him as much as he can. If he sees a kid with a ball he will take it and continue to follow. With the ball hes going to wait till they're passing a place with a park or something and toss the ball into the middle of the street and act like a little kid going after. Hopefully they will slam on the brakes. (gotta use that little kid look to my advantage)

Just as he planned, Eric manages to get ahead of the cruiser to attempt his plan. The cruiser screeches to a halt, coming mere inches from hitting Eric. The passenger got out of the car quickly, standing in the doorway." Are you okay?"

"I'm sorry mister! I was just getting my ball." Eirc stares at him for a second and tries to hear anything or see if there is someone (Dan) struggling to get out of the SUV.

" Well you shouldn't be playing in the street, you could..." The man in the suit stops staring at Eric. " Hey, you're that kid from the library." He shouted at the officer driving, " It's that kid from the library, grab him.

Eric waits for the driver to come after him and trys to see if there is anyone else in the car. Also to see if Dan is trying to get out or being restrained.

Both the driver and the man in the suit started to give chase after Eric, but the tinted glass made it impossible to tell how many were still in the cruiser. The suit pulled a radio from his pocket. " that kid from the library just showed up again. Attempting to capture."
A somewhat familiar austrailian voice replied. " Copy that. Tech just got a hit on someone trying to access the disk. I'm enroute to reobtain it.
"Copy , out." The suit replied and tucked the radio back in his pocket. He called after Eric. " Hold up, kid. We need to talk to you."

Eric Backs up as the two men get out of the car. *ah crap, Iceman* Eric thinks to himself as the man talks on his radio. Eric continues to back up. "Well I need some questions answered too!" Eric yell to the man showing, obvious emotion in his tone. "What are you doing rounding up my friends? Where have you taken them?"
