Tally still struggles against the hold that Tabitha has on her, trying to use her enhanced strength to break the hold somewhat. "You mean if I go with you...you will let them all go and be safe?" She says even though she does not want to be an experiment or an Icon of some sort. She does not even want to leave, but if it the only way that she can save the Earth and her friends.

DD steps forward again, palms up as he would have done as Matt if he were approaching a judge, "forgive my ignorance, but this Terrigenesis process, what will the effects of such do to her?"

"don't even think it,Tally." Tabitha said, not releasing her hold . "There is no way I'll let you sacrifice yourself to save me, and I don't think anyone else in this room would either. If Queen Bee is wrong and you aren't , then these terriforming gases or whatever she called them kill you for nothing." She looked at the inhumans, and tried not to smirk," How do you make terriforming gas anyways? Is that when the planet farts or something?" She knew that she was walking a dangerous road, but she had to get Tally to relax somehow.

"I would keep silent about my ignorance if I were you, child." Medusa responds to Tabitha's comment. "And do not think your intangibility protects you - the elite Kree Guard are armed with Echo weapons - powered by the voice of my husband Black Bolt himself. You would do well to keep a civil tongue in your head."
Medusa then turns to the Man without Fear. "Terrigenesis is the method by which Inhumans gain their powers. At the time of Terrigenesis, the young Inhuman will enter the sacred chamber - the mist produced by the Terrigen Mists will transform and empower them. The results cannot be predicted in advance, even for a full-blooded Inhuman."
"Which is why we agreed Luna would never undergo exposure." Quicksilver interjects. "Because even the combination of Inhuman and Mutant DNA was considered to risky." He leans over to Tally. "Are you alright?"
"The Exile Maximoff is not incorrect. Current efforts to perform Terrigenesis on the Kree have met with...failure."
"It killed them." Captain America responds, reading the Inhuman Queen's features. "My god Medusa, how can you sanction the risk to a child? For...for politics?"
"Do not seek to judge me, Captain, it is beyond your comprehension. Without our leadership, the Kree will fracture and falter. Our Empire is the only bulwark against the chaos the universe has become - you would do well to have us as your allies."
"I've heard that kind of talk before, your Majesty. It doesn't impress me in the least." The Captain prepares his sheild.
"You know, that's everyone's problem. Too much talking." The voice of Maximus booms out as he materializes inside the clear plastic pilot's compartment of a bulky, wide metalic framed robot that stretches to the ceiling of the conference room. He sits back in the large control chair, and forks in a bite of pie before hitting a button.
All the Inhumans, save Karnak, double over in pain (Tally doesn't feel anything). Medusa reaches out. "Maximus...what-why?"
"Because it's time to eat pie and kick ass." He tosses aside the empty plate, letting it fall to the bottom of the clear plastic control room. "And I'm out of pie. At least until I transport in some more. My Sentries found a few nice bakeries in New Jersey. A nice surprise really." He looks about, seeing the Kree soldiers. "Yeah, I wouldn't do anything with those Echo Weapons if I were you guys. I designed them. You really don't want to know what kind of safeguards I put in them if you decided to get frisky with me." The Kree soldiers, leaderless, lower their weapons.
"I'm sorry, you were asking why?" He turns to his sister-in-law. "Because I'm bored. Bored bored bored bored bored and SICK TO DEATH of what you've made me!" His eyes bulge. "I used to design great devices to bring glory and honor to me, Maximus the Magnificent! I was a name feared for my genius. But I decided that rather than try to keep fighting my dear departed brother and the rest of you, I would work with you so we could actually make something of ourselves. But what have I become? A mere weapons designer!" He grabs his head. "Like that fop Tony Stark! An Industrialist! Who cares about that?" He screams. "I wanted to be a conqueror - I want the name Maximus to be the most impressive thing heard across the stars. I don't want to be some tame engineer of boring weapons - I want to bring worlds to their knees in abject terror of devices the cosmos has never seen!" He then looks around. "Also, I'd like very much if you didn't sully my work, my greatest creation, but exposing her to some random elements out of politics and superstition. That just burns me." He blinks for a moment, and sees the Avengers. "Oh, The Avengers. Would any of you like some pie?"

Spider-Man raises his hand. "I would love some pie. Contrary to popular belief, pie is good for losing weight...if you've got the proportionate metabolism of a spider."

Tally still being held fast by Tabitha is growing a little weary of these highs and lows that everyone seems to be playing with her life. First she is an experiment to be studied and subjected to the mists. Then she is a princess to lead a race to a new era. Without even thinking of it she speaks, "Why can't I just be me. Why do I have to be anything but what I am? Why Tabitha? Why?" She states while still trying to free herself from the obvious grasp of her. Half out of wanting to help everyone and the other half wanting to run away and never be found again.

Tabitha was about to say something back to Medusa when Maximus appeared. Hearing her rant, she couldn't help but say under her breath, " I think someone's chees slid off the cracker" she looked at Tally, shaking her head slightly," I don't know Tally. Look, stop struggling and I'll let you go as long as you don't do anything rash. You," she reverts to her normal form so Tally could see her expressions, "are the closest thing I've got to a friend here, and I don't want to lose that, but it's your decision." She force a smile and released her hold on Tally. " Besides, I'm starting to think you are the only sane one in your family." she smirked.

When Maximus appears and starts his rant DD thinks, 'great what else can go wrong, I guess chances at diplomacy are gone.'
However, the mad scientist sounds almost worse than these Inhumans. DD is unsure who they should side with and what Cap has planned to do now. When Tabby lets go of Tally and solidifies he takes a step closer to them since the girl is the focus of this whole thing. He hears what Tabby says and says to the girl, "she's right, its your choice, don't let anyone make the decision for you. Just know whatever you decide, you have a room full of people ready to fight to make sure that you get what you want."

Karnak looks upon his downed fellow inhumans "You're...manipulating only the ones hit by Terrigenesis?"
"I like you Karnak - you were always the clever one. I'll send you a dozen pies when this is done. Yes, that's exactly it - I'm mainpulating the particles of the Terrigen crystals in their bloodstream. The effect is quite debilitating. Trust me, it took several tries to get the frequency right. People think that building devices like this comes easy - it doesn't. It's a lot of hard work and suffering. Granted, most of the suffering isn't mine, but you get the point." Maximus spins in his control chair to Tally. "So, are you ready to come with me? I'll have a nice castle for you, my princess. And ponies. I'm sure I can have a Sentry raid a pony farm. Would you like ponies?"
Quicksilver puts a hand on Tally's shoulder. "The choice is yours child. You may either go with this...madman."
"You're just saying that because I made you beat your own face in."
Quicksilver's eyes narrow. "Or with the Royal Family. But if you wish to reject both of these monstrous offers, know that the Avengers will stand with you, and no harm will fall to yourself or any on this world."
Songbird stage whispers to Hawkeye. "Not that I object, but he's not an active member, does he get to speak for us here?"
Hawkeye smirks as he pulls back his bowstring. "You can't knock Petey for being a bit too quick on draw."
"Faster than you Barton. Always." Quicksilver smiles back.
The Avenging Archer laughs. "You know Cap, if Wanda were here we'd have the Kooky Quartet back together again."
Cap gives only a small smirk, then looks to Tally. "The Avengers stand with our own, young lady. It's your choice."

DD glances around the room at the stand off, getting impatient he says, "so... we all just going to sit here and look at each other, or we going to do something? How bout this," he says stepping forward, "the Inhumans want Tally, but its obvious Pie Guy here, doesn't want them to have her. I can only assume that the Inhumans don't want Pie Guy to have her either. Now, lets definitely not forget the fact that Tally is a living breathing being with the right to decide what she wants for herself. So how bout a third option, we just all let Tally decide what she wants to do, and if she decides to stay right here where people care about her and just want her to be happy then the Inhumans can be satisfied that she isn't with Pie Guy, and Pie Guy can go eat pie on his own satisfied she didn't go with the Kree Empire? Sound like a plan?"
He twirls his billy club that was so effective in hitting so many of the Inhuman royal family members just moments ago, he glances around trying to locate the other half, and with the Royal Family incapacitated he does so and retrieves it. He then adds to his earlier speech, "also lets not forget that if either party chooses to force Tally to do something she doesn't want to do that her friends will stop at nothing to stop you in your tracks."

Tally does not like either option as both in her mind right now are not really the best choice, but then she starts to listen to her heart. Her heart saying there is only one way to go if she wants any chance of getting to know her parents and that is to choose the Inhumans. "I want a chance to know my Mom and Dad. Even if they want nothing to do with me! I want a chance to stay with my friends!" She says knowing that he is not going to like the answer at all from Maximus.

"Alright. You heard the lady. AVENGERS - ASSEMBLE!" Captain America takes point as Maximus's robot fires a beam of pure white energy, deflected by his shield.
"Hawkeye! Hit high! Wolverine and Quicksilver hit low! Ghostsabre, hit deep! The rest of you- Hit and run! Don't give Maximus time to pick us off!"
Karnak moves towards Daredevil. "I can see the weak spot in the robot. I can help you."
(Initiative and actions please)

Tabitha smiled at Tally's answer, which caused her to take a moment to realize what Cap had told her to do.She tried to figure out what hit deep meant, when she had an idea," Tally, I need a lift." She knew Songbird was more likely to do what se wanted, but having Tally help kept her away from the remaining Inhuman just in case.

Tally sees Tabitha's smile and in return beams a smile feeling she did the right thing. When asked "Of course!" She states as she lifts off the ground.

" Okay here's what I want you to do," Tabitha said as she was lifted from the ground. " I want you to loop around and build up a little speed and then throw me towards your uncle Mad Max in his big toy. Hopefully I can do the rest. If I can time it right, I'll use my powers to land inside his bubble with him and end this quick."
