Krystal drops the forcefield she has wrapped around her body to maximize what she will be able to throw into the forcefield around the bomb, even if it does sacrifice that which she is wearing and may expose her skin. She looks around and sees Balus and decides at that moment that with the time that is left the actions are limited. She takes a moment to debate on what to do. (Translation waiting to see what Balus does)

I CAN SHIELD YOU, IT WON'T HURT ME[COUGH]" Balus shouted at Krystal as he saw her react to something and guess it was the bomb, still approaching, waving at the smoke pointlessly. "HURRY, WE HAVE TO [COUGH] GET OUT OF THIS SMOKE SOON."

Despite any misgivings she still has trust in Balus and knows his ability to take damage is well above her Forcefields ability. Before she follows through she scans quickly to see if there is anything she can do that may affect the outcome of the bomb.
Electrical Engineer – [dice=100]/55%
Alien Technology Mechanic - [dice=100]/45%
Mechanical Engineering - [dice=100]/55%
If there is no chance at all she does as instructed and throws up the forcefield dropping even the one upstairs in the effort of common good if this bomb does go off. (Nor sure if any has been burnt off otherwise 3000 MDC forcefield)

Balus, you can now see the bomb even as Krystal throws up a forcefield around it. Krystal, you can see that there's nothing you can do to disarm the bomb in the time you have.
Fegh, you are seeing a crowd of people rushing towards you, talking about another bomb.

Krystal heads back when she sees Balus almost wishing she could change where the forcefield is and throw it up around him and her instead to keep them safe.

Once she was close, Balus drew Krystal tight as he crouched over her and wrapped his bulk around her but careful not to smother her. "[cough] How much time do we[cough] have?" He didn't want to let her know, but he could feel the smoke starting to take it's toll on him, and breathing was getting more difficult

As the people near Fegh tries to stop some to get information form them, "what do you mean another bomb? Where? Can you point me to it," he asks while trying not to stop anyone person for too long as he knows they will be panicked and rushing to get out.

Fegh, the man points you back inside, but as you look back to the other soldiers, you see that one of the civilians fleeing towards the rest of the military convoy seems to be wearing an unnaturally bulky jacket.
Krystal, the bomb detonates, and you need to make a save vs. pain.
Balus, you see through the forcebubble as the bomb goes off, flooding the area with blinding white light.

Balus gritted his teeth and quickly looked away, but as he tried to look at something else, he could see nothing but the blinding flash. Not wanting to worry Krystal, he relaxed his hold on her but kept her cradled in his arms,"It's okay I think. Your force field held in the blast."

The Pain causes Krystal to black out as the explosion fades, and she falls limply into his arms.

Balus moved quickly to catch Krystal as he felt her slipping in his arms , drawing her tight. His problem however, was that they were stuck. He tried to look around but all he saw was light and dark, as if his eyes were shut. He considered calling out, but didn't want to endanger anyone else in case there were any more explosives.
Instead he curled his bulk around Krystal as best he could, waiting for her to come to and lead them out.

Fegh looks at all the fleeing people and locks eyes on the guy with the bulky jacket. He says to those soldiers with him especially immune to the blazes around them, "go further in, look for any more suspects."
