Krystal comes up with a suggestion, "What if we take the shot, I may be able to freeze his hand if it is indeed a dead mans switch. That should prevent it from going off, should it not." She does not like the thought of killing the man, but without the power of the forcefield has no other solution. "My other idea is I think, I am really not sure, but perhaps we can bluff our way out? It is either that or start with food and buy us time."

Fegh says, "get the food. We will keep him busy for now. Corporal Balus, for now, stay out of sight. I believe that he knows that his bomb will not hurt you."

The food arrives as the Bomber continues to get more and more agitated.

"If it makes you feel better I could deliver the food. So far as I can tell I am not that mutated and I might be able to get more data. Or is we can get someone attractive maybe that might work. Or I am expendible in the greater scheme of things if You want me to go. I heal fast and might be able to survive just in case. Or maybe we can exchange some hostages for me. Like I said if we buy enough time I might be able to do what I did earlier, but I will need time." She feels unsure of herself especially since she is partially out of it because of the weakness.

Balus nodded to Fegh glumly, not used to being more of a hindrance than helpful. He looked at Krystal and her suggestion. " I don't like it, but it might be our best shot. But you aren't expendable."

Fegh actually smiles at them both. A sight, they have never seen before. "You both have been a tremendous asset to our people. You have risked your lives time and time again," he shakes his head as he keeps talking, "I will not ask that of either of you in this case. I will deliver the food myself."
He looks over his shoulder tells one of the soldiers to bring the food. He then looks back at Crystal, "how strong are your powers? If you had to create a force field to cover the civilians how strong would it be?"

"I don't know. It might protect them a bit, maybe, deflect the shot if he is far enough away. But I do not think it could survive the brunt of another full blown blast. It would probably be the best way. I mean I could deliver the food and he could send me with the others putting me at the epicenter of the blast and best use as a forcefield." She is really starting to worry as at this poing it seems to all surround with her ability to protect the people.

Fegh is obviously taking in what she stated and trying to develop a strategy, "does your force field have to be a complete field, or can it be something like a wall? Can it be any shape, or is it always round?"

"It can be a wall, bubbles are easier when nothing is around but a wall is possible and maybe some other very simple shapes. Wall is probably easiest though!"

Fegh nods and then says, "this is what I am thinking, and if the moment comes, you may only have moments to get it in place. An open wall starting in the air above the hostages and angling down in a 45 degree angle towards the feet of the bomber. Perhaps then if the bomb does explode, the force field will not be holding in the bulk of the explosion, instead acting more like a deflector for the blast and shrapnel."

Fegh shakes his head, "I am sorry, I will not allow you to put yourself in that kind of danger. I will still try and diffuse this diplomatically, but should I fail, I need you safely out of harms way, so you can focus on protecting those hostages by keeping your field active."
Fegh stops as if he just had a though strike him. Turning to look at the bomber he says to one of the soldiers, "what floor are we on, and what is beneath us?"
