As jason followed, he chuckled, " He's only that protective because he's never seen the other side of you. The side I fell in love with, though the eyes still freak me out a little when I'm not expecting them."
The spare room is just how Alice remembers it. Not overly big, but the double bed leaves plenty of room to spare so it doesn't feel cramped. Jason set their suitcases on the floor, then nudged the door gently shut before wrapping his arms around Alice from behind and began kissing her neck," How long before supper?"

Alice nods, "Yeah, they kind of freak me out a little too, espeically if I don't know they've gone red."
When they get to the spare room, Alice says with a smirk, "Well, this is it. Not too fancy, but should be nicer than sleeping in the garage." Chuckling lowly, she leans back into Jason, putting her hands on top of his, "I think we've got some time."

Alice could feel the grin on Jason's face as he continued while his hands slid downward towards her shirt tail and tucked underneath.
You two had better not be doing anything naughty. IT's awfully quiet up ther Alice's grandmothers' voice popped into head.

Alice grins at Jason's motions and makes no move to stop him. However when her grandmother's voice pops into her head, Alice sighs and replies, 'We're just getting settled in'

Well don't settle too loudly. And supper is in an hour, so don't be settling too long Alice can even almost here the old woman's chuckle.
Jason paused as he heard Alice sigh, and paused," something wrong?" He asked, though his hands hadn't stopped rising gently.

Alice chuckles and leans up to kiss Jason. "Nope, everything is fine. We have an hour before supper" She grins at him in a mischievous manner.

About an hour later
Looking at the mess in the spare room as he pulled the door shut, Jason couldn't help but grin. " I hope your grandmother doesn't come upstairs looking for anything. What a mess." He chuckled as he offered his hand. " Alice, can I ask you something?" He swallowed ," Do you ever wonder about the real Jason?"

Alice giggles looking at the mess as Jason closes the door to the spare room. "We can clean it up after supper." she replies. Taking his hand, Alice's smile grows curious as she asks, "What do you mean?"

"I mean you can recreate the body, but the personality might be different, right?" Jason said. " Do you wonder what he was like? If there hadn't been the accident and I wasn't here if the two of you would have the same connection?"

Alice shakes her head as she hears Jason's questions. "I've never really thought about that." she admits. "I'd heard a bit about how you'd changed after the accident, but no, I never wondered if he and I would have connected like you and I have." Alice smiles at Jason and leans up to kiss him gently. "I love you."

Jason smiled," I hoped you'd say that." He gave her a light kiss before they started down the stairs.
"It's about time, you two." Alexandra said from the bottom of the stairs. She gave Alice a look that fortold that she had overheard them on the stairs. " Well come on, you knoe your mother's pot roast gets tough if it gets cold."
When they walked in the kitchen backdoor, they could smell the wonderful smell of her mother's home cooking. Her parents were already in the dining room and the table was ready. Suprisingly, place was set so Jason could sit next to Alice.
"Well come on, the gravy is already starting to jelly." Evan scolded.

Alie is worried that her grandmother heard what they were talking about, but hides it as they head back to her parent's house. She smiles as they head into the house, thinking to herself that she'd missed that smell while she was in the US. She sits down at the table and smiles at her mother and says, "It all looks good, Mom."

Jason slid into his seat after Alice, without saying anything. He tried to hide it, but was a little uncomfortable for some reason. With only a little small talked, supper wore on fairly quietly. It was only when Alice happened to glance up at her grandmother did she understand what was making Jason act funny. She had seen the same look in her own eyes when she had caught her reflection when she was trying to get into someone's head.

Alice doesn't look pleased when she realizes what her grandmother is doing. Using telepathy, Alice tells her grandmother, 'Stop that, Grams! If you have questions, ask me! Don't go poking around in Jason's head without his permission!'

Alexandra looks at Alice, responding, Do you know what this boy has done?!? We need to have a long talk, young lady she scolded, yet her expression was unchanged as she ate supper.
The meal passed with typical small talk, much of it focused on the young couple and what Miami was like. After dessert, Evan retired to watch the news while Jan began clearing the table. As a gesture of wanting acceptance, Jason offered and began to help.
Alexandra siiped her tea, Well, start talking? How is a cold bloooded assassin the right choice for the rest of your life?
