To be honest, in the craziness of my life I had forgotten about this site. I stumbled across it yesterday and it all came back to me. I can't believe it's been three years. A lot has happened since that time. Here's the quick and dirty: - been promoted twice - had two more kids - had two miscarriages (one was a set of twins) - had three deaths in the family - done absolutely no gaming at all.
It has been beyond hectic. So things are never going to be normal in my life but I really miss gaming.
I was really shocked to see the Omega Shield game was not only still here but was still going! Thanks for carrying it on. I've been slowly getting back into gaming but the other game I'm in is slow, which is actually ok with me. Anyway just wanted to drop a line and say hello to my old gaming group. Hope to hear from you all and drop some dice with you soon.

Good to see you man. It's been a long time. Hope you can find some time to stick around and maybe get into a game or two.

Welcome back!
Me and Dakota like Omega Shield too much to let go. We finished the Century Station adventure as best we could and I ran a followup inspired by the anime Mai Hime. We've got an apocalypse epic running in Omega Shield now.
Lots of other games started since you left too.

I see that! I was thinking about reading how the Century Station game went, but that's a lot of reading. I just may have to get into a game. If I do it will only be one for now. When I transfer to my new command the tempo will be a lot slower so I could possibly get into another one. Or maybe if run one. We'll see how it goes. I am a little rusty.

there's lots to pick from, and most are open to players. Even rusty ones

Perhaps I'll have to put together a character and see what comes of it...
