Deci sighs inwardly at two things. First being Isamu wanting to talk to her alone and the second is still related to the unpreparedness of the team. Before her meeting though she does speak up, "If we are looking for generic look, which to be honest would have to be just a jacket or a part of a costume and we have half an hour, why don't we have someone run to a store and get a slew of jackets quickly. Then we will at least match until such time as we can get proper uniforms of some sort." Her idea is honest and hopes the team understands what she means, especially since time here seems to be a factor in all of this.

Arc walked out talking to Mac and Ryne and Avi departed together. Kristian caught up, offering his hand to Sierra. " We'll get through this. And then we won't have to deal with that crazy Wraith any more."
"I have to change anyways." Ashley said in reply to Isamu, ushering Tom and Robert out to leave Deci and Isamu alone

Tom walks out. "OK.." He shrugs and looks at Robert. "You ever get the feeling you're only ever getting 1/10th of the story?"

Robert grabs his mask off the table before being escorted out of the room. "1/10? I don't even know what book we're reading! So, you want to help me find some 'team clothes' or something?"

"Heh, screw it. I'm just gonna wear my costume. I've got this card. That's all I need to prove I'm part of the team anyhow. I'm gonna go get changed. See you out here in a minute."
Robert heads to his room to grab his gear and change into his costume of white pants with a red stripe down the side, his dark brown leather utility belt, a black side buttoned shirt and his hooded executioner's mask. Once he's done changing, he heads back into the hall and waits for the rest of the team.

When the room is clear Isamu motions for Deci to take a seat and after she is seated he sits also. He sighs and steeples his hands focusing on them for a moment before he looks up at her in the eye. "December, I wanted to speak to you about the things that have happened today. I want to see how you are doing, but mainly to apologize to you."

Deci looks confused for a moment or two. "Apologize?" It then dawns on her he might want to apologize for earlier, but waits to see instead of putting her neck out for the second time. She does sit down however as she was alos expecting to be yelled at!

"Yes apologize. I know what I asked you to do today went against what you believe in. I also know how hard it was for you to follow those orders. While I would have preferred you went with Robert, I am just glad you left."
He pauses and then adds, "I do not know exactly what would have happened had you stayed. The situation in this city is not a normal one. I once saw things the way that you do. That there is only a right way and a wrong way. I wish with every fiber of my being I could still believe that everyone can fall into either of those groups. Sadly I have come to realize that in order to make things right, in order to put things the way they should be, some people must operate in gray area."
Deci can tell that Isamu is pained at this statement as he is making no attempt at hiding his emotion.
"I am sorry that you found yourself involved with us December. The job that we have to do," he says as he looks down at the table shaking his head, "is dangerous and unpleasant. As much as we have done, I have yet to see the true benefit we have been to the city and its people. Most of us are untrained, especially when it comes to working together as a team. I am sure you have noticed that I am not a good leader, my decisions are not always ones that everyone will agree with. I never wanted to be leader, I am only out of necessity," he looks up and offers a sad smile, "no one else wanted the job."

Deci senses the pain from him despite her dull senses. "My problem is that no matter what, no one seems to be prepared, nor do they seem to want to rectify the situation. Even here, and no offense you say we want to head out as a team, and match but we have nothing to match with save for some jackets. I offered a solution but it did not get acknowledged in the meeting. In fact the last time I brought an idea it did not even get acknowledged. I mean I understand some bad ideas and all that but you say it is a bad idea or something. At least acknowledge the person otherwise they are not partg of the team." She pauses for a moment to hold her tongue.
"I am sorry, but thank-you for apologizing, but this comes to if you knew it was wrong and it was done in public, why was the apology not done t the meeting. You know what nevermind, I am just moody is all!" She stays quiet, knowing how upset this line of thought will go!

Before turning off at the stairs, Ashley smirked at Tom and Robert's banter," If we only know a tenth, I don't know if I want to know it all." It was clearly forced.

"You have a right to be. I am sorry I did not acknowledge your idea. It was a good one, we just do not have time to send someone out. For the future we will be better prepared," he says in response.
"You are also correct, we are usually unprepared. I wish I could say this was incorrect however we very rarely have had time to prepare. I hope that soon this will change but I do not know."
"As for making this apology in front of everyone, if you really want me to, I will, however apologizing was not the only reason I wanted to speak to you. I wanted to know where you and I stand. I know you have not been pleased with me since we have met, and I know I do not um... I think the saying is win any points with you by any of my decisions. I would really like for us to be friends however that is up to you."

"I would like that too, I m trying not to be a bitch but I am sorry if I come off that way." She says as she proffers a smile. "By the way that was not the only idea I had ignored, but whatever. Either way perhaps instead of trying to make this one uniformed, perhaps, especially instead of jackets we could get something else that all of us have in common. Like a belt with federal ID's or something. But I digress. You do not need to apologize to me, we will call it even if you like. There are other things that I also have viewed but that is nothing that I can do, and definitely nothing you can do." She stops again from her rambling. She realizes perhaps he is more like her then she knew, and circumstance is what makes him the way he is. Perhaps she could change that, perhaps...she snaps herself out. What am I doing and feeling...come on girl!

Isamu actually shows a pleased smile, "I am glad December. I will try and do better at listening and acknowledging your ideas. I would like you to do me one favor December. Those ideals that you have, the ones that seem to put us at odds, hold on to those December. Do not let yourself become jaded by this job. I believe this team has become just that and perhaps we need a conscience. To many times we have done whatever needed to be done to get the job accomplished," he says as he looks off at nothing in particular.
"I do not want that to be the norm. I never did. If we are fighting for justice we should be just do you not think so? Perhaps you can help us get back on track."

"All you have to do is look deep in your soul and find yourself. It is not hard, but if you keep sacrificing yourself you will become that which you hate. But that is another story." She says seeing how much what he is has costed him. She hopes that maybe he will realize that maybe there is another way to do this. Maybe a glimmer of what he says he was will come back. Maybe, just maybe it is not his fault. Maybe it is this person he is attached too. But that is a thought for another day. "And don't you worry, I will never give up what and who I am. That would be wrong of me to do so, and be against what my father taught me. I am who I am and if that costs me, I will die for being that way!"
