Fegh says, "it appears the planets environment is highly volcanic. Most organic life would not survive outside of the survival suits they are manufacturing for us."
He folds his hands together the pad having vanished back to its original location. "We will be here for 2 hours while the suits are prepared. After that there will be a 5 hour travel period to the planets surface. The refreshments are here because there will be nothing available until we reach the plants surface."

Overhearing, Balus tried not to sound unenthusiastic," Yeah.. interesting." Then he smirks," As long as it isn't like our whale watching trip." He sighed, not sure where to start with the refreshments, " Another five hours? Now I wish we had stopped in the caf at the end of shift. At least there I knew what it was supposed to be that I was eating, except the meatloaf. That's not food. More like sludge that comes out of a recycler."

The Major nods at Fegh. "Alright then." as he pours a cup of what seems to be water. "Alright, I'm not tasting poison. The rest of you can go ahead."
"Eh, yes sir." Slycer then gets a cup from a different faucet. "Heh...almost tastes like decaff."
Krystal, roll mechanical engineering.

While overhearing Krystal hears the discussion going on.

Speaking up while she is working. "If you guys want some reconissence and can get a hold of the people, I know that the environment described would not hurt me at all. And I am pretty sure Balus would be fine, but our clothes would be wrecked." She says half weighing all the outcomes.[rand=204090424103989481846426003340071534494590097457456954860753699413]

Balus looked at Krystal and chuckled," People are soon going to think I look for excuses to destroy uniforms on missions." Then as he filled his cup from a third faucet, he glanced at Krystal and couldn't help but think it wouldn't be such a bad tradeoff

The other crewmen drink, mostly the water, as they wait. Promptly two hours later, the robot returns wheeling in a cart with environmental suits customized for everyone's bodytype.
"Your names have been placed on the tags of the suits and transmitters and local accounts have been activated, as well as translators. Once you have completed donning the suits, we will travel to the planet. Thank you for your patience."

"Excuse me," Krystal actually asks before they take off. "Some of us will not require the suits. Is there something else we can work out instead. If not then I will assume that the suits will be more then adequate. But I imagine that if we are not in the suits it will make it easier for you to study us, instead of interacting with us behind a mask and suit."

" Let's save that for a backup plan." Balus suggested to Krystal as he took his suit and began to put it on. "Major Trokyr, prehaps in the future our own environmental suit for away missions might be a good idea. Something standard as sort of an away mission uniform." He suggested.

"Duly noted." Major Trokyr grunts as he struggles into his suit.
The group is then escorted by the robot to an elevator car. Seats are provided that seem to accomdate even the most distorted sizes. As you sit down, you are strapped in and the elevator car begins to move down the space elevator cable. Through the large window, you can see the planet in a perfect panoramic view.
Slycer grunts. "I think I'm gonna be sick...." Richol looks over to Krystal. "Huh. Can't remember the last time I was in a real gravity ...."

Krystal turns to Richol. "Last time I was on the planet. Which reminds me next time we go to the planet, maybe if you leave the ship I will show you my new place. It does not have much in way of furnishing but is a nice place none the less." She offers a smile as she gets into her suit.

Once completed she hops out now knowing how easy it is. "Does anyone need help getting in before I redon mine?" Trying to direct that especially to Balus or Richol.[rand=068645531414086366132398661757054617932887227061943721156428170493]

"Just remember Slycer." Balus grinned," Not in the helmet, it's hard to clean out."

"Haw Haw." Slycer barely manages to get out as he closes his eyes. "Let me know when this turkey lands."
Richol is trying to analyze the elevator car. "Amazing, simply amazing. We have to ask about getting this technology for ourselves."
The Major looks at Fegh. "Brief me on the next part, what should we be expecting?"

Balus tried to be as calm as Slycer, but couldn't do it. The failure of the last mission had him on edge a bit and the conditions weren't helping. A line from one of his favorite movies kept going over and over in his head
Express elevator to Hell. Going down

Krystal in preperation curses herself for wearing the suit and not being able to take notes or the likes. But does her best to look around and see if she might be able to at least get an inkling on how this elevator works and what is involved in maybe duplicating the technology.

Before pulling on his suit, Fegh sets aside the data pad he brought with them. He then checks over the suit. He mentally akcnowledges the technology needed to make customized suits for each individual in such a short amount of time. Picking up the data pad, he climbs into the elevator car with the others and sits. When asked about the next procedure he tries to look at the datapad for information.
