5:30 am
Struggles with being awake at some ungodly hour. takes her time to get the morning stuff done. heads for breakfast, still at this ungodly hour.

6:00 am
Sits down to have some food. jerking awake a couple of times after sitting down, she finally stuffs some bacon between toast and takes a couple of bites.

Coffee, black with 3 times the normal amount of sugar, washes down the harsh meal as she gets a plate full of food properly this time. she sits again, pleased to have some solitude about her and thinks of music and other pretty things.

6:30 am
arrives at the 'workshop' and preps to get started. long coat on, hair into a ponytail and off the neck and face. she's all 'business' now as she ponders a couple of things, then moves the tester to the side of the table that Dante will be working on. the side closest to the door.

She sets the half eaten plate of food tothe side and the coffee as well and grabs her 6-pack of coke and settles on the chair again.

7:00 am

Jeckle is already on site, her food sitting on a plate half forgotten as she sips on a coke, purely for the rush of sugar and caffine. the pieces are still laid out on the work bench in front of her and Kirin is nuzzling her cheek.

'i know .. i know .. can't change because the orders did. doesn't matter hun .. now just go invisible would you? if they can't see you, they can't complain about you being here .. right? i know .. i know, annoys me too . . '

*that said she lowers the goggles over the eyes and then picks up some earplugs and slips them in. she wishes now that she was on the road with her rig and doing the things she liked to do. building for her brother's needs. with him, she always got feedback on how things worked. now? other than being a team member in name, few have taken the time to learn more about her cold exterior. but that's fine. less problems with little lies piling up

*her head turns to the door, even before Dante enters then she resumes her work .. ear plugs showing in their bright neon orange foaminess. his section is nearest the door and a lot of open space behind her on the opposite side on the opposite side of the table. she resumes her work without a word, the tester on his side of the workbench and the pieces on her side

At 11:00am Dancer, Peacemaker, Rock and Tiger interrupt Jeckle and Dante's work to practice using the tester.

While the three kids rotate using the one working tester, Tiger asks Dante to use telemechanics on the tester while the kids are using it in order to gain a better understanding of its workings while in operation. She wants him and Jeckle to develop various gauges and readouts eventually to monitor the kids progress. "I don't suppose you can pass that info on the Jeckle can you Dante?" Peacemaker starts followed twenty minutes later by Dancer, followed by Rock.

While the kids use the machine for twenty minutes apiece, Tiger sits down with Jeckle and starts explaining the the ins and outs of the part Jeckle is working on and also how it fits together with the rest of the device. Tiger tries to keep from paying too much attention to how the kids are doing, since is their first significant amount of time spent with the device.

With the explanation, Jeckle can attempt to build any one piece of the tester (Circuit 5 hrs, Ambient Reactor 30 hrs, Ambient Reactor Regulator 13 hrs, Actuator 12 hrs, Box 4 hrs) at -30% instead of the normal penalty. Note: the times assume Jeckle has been able to attempt each part at least once so far.

*With her photographic memory remembering everything that Tiger says about the 'model' and the break down of each section explain in more detail, she sighs with relief and resumes on the reactor on the table in front of her.

Tiger ducks out of the tester building for lunch and to take the kids to teamwork training.

But she returns at 1830 to do some more work. Mostly she answers any questions Jeckle or Dante might have while she double checks the work so far and tinkers with some readout display ideas.

Jeckle has sat there in the workshop for a while after setting the part she was working down, and then tidies the various tools so that they are all away for grabbing first thing in the morning.

*she leaves the tinkering and gabbing to Dante to do. her job is to build, not entertain. she does pause to listen to people or grab a couple bites of cold food before resuming the work.

*her attention will vary between the main 'reactor' project and whatever else is handed in to be worked on or built [measuring devices]. the single mindedness shows a deep decitation to her field and it shows she really isn't much for talking to people. most just get a grunt .. or a nod. lucky is the one that actually gets a word out of her while she's working

Dante before trying to do much work on the tester approaches Jeckle when no one else is around, "Hey Jeckle, can we talk? I feel really bad I haven't been much help on this thing. I also don't like the way Tiger keeps you working alone on it. I want to help I really do. Please tell me what you need me to do. How can I help?"

'don't worry about it Dante. THIS is what i do for a living. building and constructing things. if you can finish cross checking the pieces i've already made against hte tester, that would be best. i'll figure this reactor thing out sooner or later

'its like this stuff is alien and unworldly. but it isn't. not really. i just need to know if i got things i nteh right spot so once its under full power it don't blow and clear out a 20' crater. besides, you got busy with getting on with your life'

'besides . . i need a builder to help me. you've stated you don't build. so . . . check the work i've done and make sure it works like the tester, or at least has all the things in the right spot

*she knows that she's not the greatest person to interact with. but then she does have a lot more things to focus on than being overly polite

The Ambient Reactor Regulator

Now that the two new Ambient Reactors have been completed, Tiger outlines the next part of the process to Jeckle, the reactor regulator.

Tiger also asks Dante to use telemechanics on the tester while the kids are using it in order to calibrate some gauges for measuring their output.

Jeckle will listen carefully to all points made by Tiger, smiling pleasantly even while tiger runs about in circles and makes contradictary comments [gizmoteer] about steps. a simple nod at the end of it and while Tiger heads off to go do other things . . Jeckle wonders what part of hte chat was really about.

*that being said, she takes her time and gets to work and continues. passing lunch up in favor for a walk to clear her head of solder and other smells associated with fine electrical construction. the walk pauses to observe the kids with their instructors, and then she decides to leave before getting spotted or disturbing their seesion.

*back at the job now, she goes it alone without Kirin's assistance. the timing and work is slow and tedius, but she continues on with a sense of compitence as she works.

When Dante next arrives at the trainer testing he tells Jeckle, "Are you willing to try an experiment? I am going to try and use telepathy and my mechanical telepathy at the same time. I'll touch the device and try and send you everything directly into your mind, so you can see what I see. If there is something you want me to go deeper into, just think it to me. OK?"

Jeckle looks at him and ponders his suggestion. 'no promises on if it will work. i'm . . ahh . . fine. give me a few minutes here to organize my mind first.

*she's just finished the chat with Tiger about the next item to be assembled and is more than worried about how far out of hte box this technology is, without having to go snoop inside the workings of it.

'a virtual autopsy? oh this is gonna be tricky . . ' *she closes the eyes and takes a couple of deep breaths as the hands rise palm up on the intake . . . and palm down as she exhales. much like one who does Tai'chi does when they center themselves at the start

*her mind, sharp as a tack seems to absorb all that she sees from Dante's virtual disection of various parts. this gives her a new unique view of seeing things.

*she works until 5PM, then slips away for a meal and some minor exercises while the others are busy with the kids in training. she keeps her body toned and remembering all its movements, then with fresh air and her mind more at ease, returns to continue working the last 3 hours before calling it quits for the night
