Hi, some of you might know me from EU where I previously played Jeremiah, Bellephoebe, Majestrix, and Maxine (not to mention several characters from defunct games including the Thorley of my namesake).

I was recently (about a month ago) exiled for putting up a post which broke the PG-13 rating. I was told to edit it, which I did, and was banned anyway.

Given the fact that I put like 4 years into some of the characters I was playing, and also made a number of site contributions (or tried to) I was needless to say a bit miffed and it took me this long to decide to try and get back into the online RPG saddle. Some people recommended this site as a place to play.

I also wanted to say that for the sake of what some people might have heard, I can be a bit of a pervert, however that isn't what I am looking for from an online RPG. I posted *1* sex scene in 4 bloody years and did it badly. Just a point to avoid any misunderstandings since there are EU regulars here.

If any game openings appear I'd be interested in giving a game a shot.

Also Eric Nordquist has been asking me to run a RIFTS campaign. Truthfully horror or heroic fantasy are more my GMing genere of choice nowadays, but I'm willing to give it a shot even if I'm not the best GM out there. If there is interest and the site is willing to give me a chance (knowing it could be a failure), I'll take a crack at it once I settle in. I tend not to ad-lib and given that I don't have any campaigns ready for RIFTs (as I said I run other generes usually, but Eric has been asking for RIFTs) but I'm working on trying to get one put together. If there is however more of a general demand for horror or fantasy however I'd be ready to go a lot quicker.

You will be pleased to know that romance is common here, but that we typically refrain from actually doing anything about it beyond smoochies. That means you don't have to worry about posting something that needs to be censored. (Though, I do have to say I like it when things don't go so far towards some idea of realism that it makes things difficult or not fun, so I will promote reasonable self-restraint.)

Well, first of all, welcome aboard. This isn't Eww, so what happens there doesn't much concern me. Check the game's list thread for openings and talk to the appropriate GM(s). secondly, once you decide if you want to run a game or not for sure and have some insight on it, talk to me or Mierin to set things up

Thank you for the warm welcome. Apologies for not responding to the greetings sooner, but I've been a bit busy IRL after I introduced myself.

I'll check out some of the games, and try and apply to some of them before too long.

As far as GMing goes, I'll say something when I finish the RIFTs campaign and am sure I have time to get it launched properly. I'm designing it to be set in some of the less developed regions of South America, though it WILL likely involve other locations at various points. I tend to create a lot of my own stuff (monsters and so on) so I like to GM in areas that aren't as heavily visited by a game's writers to avoid having to explain why in a heavily developed/written area there is all this stuff that nobody had run into before.

Also to be entirely fair, what happened wasn't romance specifically. I was playing a fairly nutty former super villainess turned goverment agent who had just gotten out of prison. The group hit a night club and a lot of people in the party were talking about looking for sex there. I pretty much played my character as being really aggressive and she was going to horn some guy in a bathroom. I was a bit too descriptive before the "black out portion" (I did however not write anything about penetration or whatever) I was told it was too much and to edit it, so I did, and then got banned any way. Not something I had done before, and it was intended to be a quick thing, nothing especialy persistant or serious. Not generally the kind of thing I do as a matter of routine even though I'm hardly a prude. As I said, it was the only time I had done anything of the sort.

I doubt it will be a factor, just an explanation.

Most of the games seem fairly well established, so apparently I have a lot of reading ahead.

Heya Man... I've been inactive here only cause most of the games are full and the GM (Kurff) on a couple sadly had stuff happen where he couldn't keep up. I'm Eric, Thorley and if you need help or ideas give me a holler on Here or YIM. Oh, and and don't wory bout rating. Dak has said to me a coulple of time a R or NC-17 is ok here if you want... though if you do that I DO recomend putting up a waning label and disclaimer.
