"Well," Says Eleutheroi. "Maybe we should start with the visions that got the Guild in an uproar, eh?"

Zeke's attention peaked at the chance for juicy Guild gossip.

[Mierin]

Sarah nod at Eleutheroi and then turns to Zeke and describes the vision that she'd had earlier at the Guild. "I didn't recognize where I was. Does it sound familiar to you?"

Zéké listened quietly to Sarah's description of the visions. If it had upset him, the Minotaur didn't show it. "Well, this is very interesting." He says, at the end. "You remember that marble shipment, I have a sample, if it will help." As he speaks, he opens a drawer and pulls out a small slab of marble looking remarkably like in Sarah's vision. "I, of course, have records of the purchaser and the delivery site for the marble and do understand the gravity of this."

[Mierin]

Sarah studies the marble carefully and asks "Would you be able to give us the records of who purchased the marble and where it was delivered to?"

Zéké gets a thoughtful look, then sighs resignedly. "I have the address, yes. But, I had no knowledge of the purposes. The address we sent it to was an old hotel, believing it was for refurbishment into condos." He explains. Tapping a button on his intercom, he says, "Mitzy, get me the sales ledger from 6 months ago, please. Thank-you."

Sitting back, waiting, he says, "So, Mr. Cooper, how are you enjoying being the latest Golden Child of Golthreia? I daresay, this would make quite the story."

[dakota]

Coop fought the urge to roll his eyes before answering. " It's not all the fun and games it's cracked up to be, that's for sure. And there's one heck of a steep learning curve." He looked at Sarah and then El before turning back to Zeke with a smirk. "Fortunately I have some good teachers."

"Well." Zéké says, leaning forward. "I could negotiate the international rights to the story anytime." He says, with a slightly mercenary grin.

"I know that look. He'll do it, too." Says Eleutheroi. "He gave me it once when I asked him to bring a shipment of ru - rulers..."

"Here you are, sir." Says the assistant, easily aware she had interpupted something. "The ledger for purchases." She says, offering a USB stick (hey, even in magical worlds dimensions away, USB is still the currency of computer attachments).

Zéké takes the stick, dismissing her. With a nod, she was gone. He taps his desk, and a monitor appears projected on the wall. "It's more impressive this way." He says, as the file loads. "Yes, here we are. We needed an architectural drawing to work the order." A 3-d hologram emerges from the wall, showing a very large, ornate foyer lobby. Coop and Sarah get a sort of sick feeling, like they've seen it before, and know where those doors lead.

Eleutheroi stares at it. "The Montoya? I thought it was condemmed."

"As did I. But they came as developers for a condo unit. You know, for the housing crunch. They had assured us, the paperwork was filed, but it wasn't our matter. Marble is not a controlled substance." Zéké explains, sort of covering himself. "Is this it?" he asks Sarah.

[Mierin]

Sarah smiles softly at Coop and turns back to Zeke to look at the projected image. "I... I recognize that. I've seen it before. That's it." Smiling weakly, she tells Eleutheroi, "I guess we know where we need to go now."

Coop nodded in agreement with Sarah. " That's definitely looks like the place." He looked at Eleutheroi and Sarah. " Now the problem is how do we go check things out without a herd of of reporters giving us away? Not to mentionif these people are powerful enough spellcasters to attempt something like this, at least I'm going to need something to use against them."

Sarah shrugs, "Well, since the reporters think you're the slayer now, you could create a diversion while I check it out."

" Only if you take El with you." Coop replied quickly, not bothering to hide his dislike of the idea of Sarah going alone. " I guess if word got out I'd be somewheres not far away looking into an unrelated matter we make up, word would get out pretty quickly and have whoever's behind this ( motioning towards the image) looking the other way."

Zéké clears his throat, reminding them they're still in his office. "I am happy to be of service, but a meeting space may be outside your budgets to rent." He says, standing politely. "Good luck."

[Mierin]

Sarah nods at Zéké and says "Thank you for your help." As they head back to the guild, she asks Eleutheroi, "What do you think?"

As they make their way to the garage, Sarah and Eleutheroi seem almost ignored as the minimum wage floor staff in the store watch Coop leave. "I think Coop doesn't need to worry if he needs to leave his girlfriend to wander the store while he gets to work." He says, loudly, pushing Coop in the back to keep him moving. "I recommend the mall, too." he says, quietly. "Vandy's Wilderness Outfitters."

Coop nodded, and then gave Sarah a hug. " Have fun, and I'll see you later, duty calls for now." He spoke loud enough that his onlookers could hear as they headed towards the car.
