Balus is stormed by a dozen of the humanoid partial borgs, who fire laser beams and slash with blades to no effect other than to shred his uniform. The strange giant bird man chants away as one of the bug creatures fires off a sonic blast at Krystal

The alien bird man starts chanting again as a bug man races twoards you. Fegh faces off against one with a long Scorpion-like stinger tail, and the one facing Rogers has hands of glowing energy.

Krystal just lets the blast hit her field (189 SDC Left) to make sure that the forcefield around the main drive is in place. Once she is satisfied she turns, floats into the air and looks to the source of the blast she received and releases one of her own.

Radiation Blast

Fegh's shot scores the shoulder of the bug man as he lashes out with his stinger at you

Balus pitches the borg into the bulkhead, the force of which splatters him against it. Krystal once again unleashes with a radiation blast to him again.

Balus tried to move, but whatever was effecting him caused him to drop to one knee. He wanted to call out help, but was too busy struggling against what had him.

Rogers stands his ground as the Bug swings at him and connects with his liquid metal form. Instead of trying to dodge, his pseudopods taper into sword blades as they stab at the alien.

As the bug man closes in range, Fegh throws the gun towards the creatures head, and then tries to block the stinger attack by grabbing the bugs tail.

Fegh grabs onto the stinger tail as Alien tries to throw a punch at you

Krystal's opponent is too stunned to fight back, but another bugman shoots a bolt of lightning at you

Krystal you can see that the forces on the engineering deck are overwhelmed by the invaders. Slycer, thankfully is mounting a good offense tearing into the enemy borgs, but Balus is pinned, and you are seeing two other security officers getting fall into a portal, and you can sense that on the other side of that portal is the cold empty of space.

Krystal sees how much they are in trouble and thinks quickly as she can. She lets the bolt hit her shield knowing it can take it. She knows if she dives through the portal she can save those two men but at what cost to the ship. She knows that if Balus is up then maybe the tides would turn in favour of them. She quickly scans the area in hopes of finding someone concentrating on Balus

While this is happening she is also moving towards the portal as she has a plan and a back up one. The backup one being scanning for an easy way to flood the room with radiation. The primary is to see if she can use the space to power her most powerful blast.

Struggling, Balus' knees shook as he rose up against the force pressing down on him. " Slyce, something's got me!" Fegh automatically tries to duck the punch. Holding the tail with one hand he extends a straight energy blade in his free hand and tries to drive it into the creatures chest.

"I'm coming, Big Kid!" Slycer carves through another two borgs and fires his plasma ejector one handed to take out a third. "Just give me a minute!"
