Ch. 56 Track Down (all)

'well .. even I know he's not dead. he's playing possum right now. he's an old guy. when he's the old guy i don't sense him. and Alice is the psychic. i asked you guys to have Vance checked out for where he's getting his Cure from. did you ask her to do that?'

*she wonders if she's just talking to air. so far it seems like no one's listening to her

'ahh .. this must be because of the Britannia thing huh? great, just great. but whatever .. i gotta go meet up with Arc to find out about Wraith ... oh and if anyone is listening. i don't have a bandadio so don't bother trying to talk to me that way.

*she looks at Ryne then at Kristian. her eyes fill up with tears but don't fall as she shakes her head. 'no one listens to anyone around here. can you give me a good reason to even try anymore? this one's stopped for now, and i really have to get my head on straight to talk to Arc and find out if he'll tell me what Wraith's up to'

*she recalls Ryne's words 'trust your teammates. talk to them.' ~yeah like that's really gonna happen. hasn't worked so far~ *it looks like she's about to say something else, but decides to shut her mouth and looks away to wipe the tears

"Sierra, wait." Kristian called to her, abandoning the fallen villian and running to catch up to her. He grabbed her in his arms and pulled her close. " You scared me. I didn't know you had a side like that,. I vowed never to take a life, and you seems almost ewager to finish him off."


Ashley looked at Deci without releasing her hold on Isamu," That's where Alice comes in." She looked at Is, " Are you gonna answer her, or should I?"

Seeing Ashley and Isamu still in an embrace she decides to walk off a bit but looks back at them. "Is there anything else you guys need me to do, or should I just leave you two. Actually wish I could help carry him off but I am not sure I could lift him or not." I just wish I knew what they wanted us to do. But what can one do.[/color]

[Dome]

Isamu appraises everyone. He isn't please with his performance in the battle. But he is please no one else was hurt. He taps his bandaido, "Ragnarok has been neutralized. Please send Dimitri so he can get everyone home. Also send Tom to help us secure our prisoner."

Isamu turns towards rags and holds his hand up extending the encasement to Rags neck. He then taps his radio again and says, "Alice send me all the sedatives we have as well please."

Toggling off his radio (I've always assumed we could) he says, to the group, "thank you all for coming so quickly. When Dimitri gets here, all of you head back immediately," he pauses and looks down at Ashley. Whispering he says, "especially you," then kisses the top of her head.

' . . . sorry Kristian' *she simply lets her tears fall now. her struggle to contain them is over

'i honestly have no clue what i'm supposed to do anymore. we stopped that would be kidnapper that would have taken Deci god knows where .. and she gets mad at me. i asked for Alice to scan his mind and find out where this new batch of Cure is coming from. and what he had plans to do with his prisoner he had. i don't know if that was done. now you're getting mad at me cause i put hte guy out like a light. maybe i'm not cut out for this kinda thing. i don't know. i don't know anything anymore. god i hate feeling useless'

*she sighs and looks up and gives a faint smile 'i'll be fine now. i got that out into the open. i think i'll head to my room until its .. right, not at the beachhouse .. sorry. but i'm really tired of having to stand back and do squat when people are threatened and thrown into danger cause of creeps like him .. ' *glares at Rags

[dakota]

" On my way, Alice. I'll pick up Tom on the way back." Dmitri's voice came over the bandadios, and within moments, he appeared at the fight scene. "He opened a portal back to the beach house," Transit express, now boarding. Next stop, hot showers for everyone."

Ashley didn't look happy about leaving, but she nodded. "All right, but be careful." She kissed him on the cheek before going through the portal.

Kristian took Sierra's hand," I'm not mad, and you're not useless. You stopped Ragnarok . We helped, but you did it. Now come on, we have to get cleaned up to meet that Arc guy."

Ryne was on his feet, sort of. He beckoned Deci closer," We gotta take that rental back. Can't lose another car today," he smirked, " and yes, you're driving."

"Sorry to interrupt, but there is a cranky guy in here demanding to see his fiance." Mac said with a smirk as he came out of the infirmary. " Tom, I hope that isn't you."

Tom smirks. "Thankfully not." He looks at Alice. "You going to be ok?"

' uhh .. mind if i shower with Kristian? not really interested ins showering with you Dimitri. sides ... Janie would kill me' *she says from the safety of Kristian's arms as they move towards the portal

'really need help on something as well. need to come up with some good questions to ask Arc about Wraith ... thanks' *that said, she leaves the transport of Ragnarok to the others and slips through to the beachhouse with 'hot shower' in mind .

"Well it is only returning the car. If you would like why do you not go back with the others and after I drop it off I will fly back and all would be good."

Does not matter if he agrees or disagrees on that as he did designate her the driver she will head to the vehicle so they can return it.

[Mierin]

Alice replies to Isamu on the radio. "Copy that, I'll give some sedatives to Tom." She grabs some sedatives and hands them to Tom, saying "I'll be fine." Smiling at Mac, she says "I'll go and see how Jason is doing." She then heads to where Jason is and smiles at him as she says "Hey."

Tom takes the sedatives and waits for transport.

*emerges almost in front of Tom. stepping out of the portal she moves to the side and out of the way.

'you can walk thru. it's still open. the big guy's down, but i think when he changes to the little old man he's really out. unles that's his power. i don't know. he wants to be killed for some reason. might make him be 'reborn' so if you do .. be careful ... '

*that said she's out of hte way so the others can come or leave as needed. she moves to the intercom and picks the war room 'hey Janie? .. did Alice pick that guy's head for where the new Cure is coming from yet? or did that request get lost when we sent him in?'

*she hopes that's the case. otherwise its clear that she isn't getting heard for some reason. 'oh right. i gotta shower before i go talk to Arc for the info on Wraith's antics. later ... '

*she heads for the shower instead, with plans to get ready to head out for her talk in a bit

Jason was a little groggy as he still lay on the table, but he had propped his head up with folded arms. " Hi,I'd give you a hug, but Avi said not to move until he recoups a little, then he'll finish healing things up. They won't tell me anything except it's all finished. Did they tell you any different?"

Ashley appeared before Tom first. She looked wiped out, but smiled with a thumbs up before trudging toward her room. Sierra came through next, followed closely by Kristian. " I don't think she had chance. I think they had complications with Jason's surgery. " Janie replied.

Kristian nodded to Tom," Isamu has him boxed up, but I don't know if that will hold him if he comes to."

Dmitri appeared and the portal faded, then reappeared, " I should dtart charging for this." He smirked.

" I'm coming with in case you run into trouble." Ryne said. " That solo crap doesn't fly around here."

Once Isamu had Ragnarok sealed up tight, the big man seemed to shrink down inside, only the top of an older man's head visible from inside.

As Angel more or less stood back and watched the other's backs, she noticed a motorcycle sitting at the corner. The lone rider was clapping slowly before lifting his glases so Sara could see his face. Homicide made a finger gun and pointed at her before gunning the crotch rocket's engine and taking off.

Sierra has her shower and then changes into jeans and a button up long sleeved shirt. she's tucking the gloves under the cuff when she rejoins the others. it's clear that she's 'disguising herself to appear normal' again.

*she moves t othe kitchen to make a light snack for herself and the guy douwn in the cells. she laces the water with a little of the Cure powder but mixes more into the butter and mayo. shredded cheese is mixed with the mayo to hold it in place. ham lettuce and an apple make the rest of the meal up.

'it shouldn't be enough to totally knock him out, just keep him calmer and mostly subdued' she heads downstairs with her meal for Vance. she checks his 'power level' as she approaches 'hey. figured you might be hungry or thirsty. sorry, but there was an emergancy and other things happened, we will get back to you shortly. enjoy'

*she sets the food within reach of the bars and backs away and moves to the door. 'might wanna hurry, they're bringing someone else who might steal your food and water .. '

"If you think that is the best idea, but I really think I am just returning the vehicle. Unless we can put a call in to be picked up at the rental place, or we find our own way home. But either way I do not mind the company so that works for me." She then starts to head back to the vehicle.
