The Three Demons

Exiting the plane, Tiger attempts to strike up a conversation with the guy manning the fuel pump. After a couple attempts, Tiger finds Dante and Akane. "I don't speak his language or dialect. Mind questioning him about a boy called Lightning. The kid we are looking for is smart, quick, and can control electricity."

[Dome]

Dante shrugs, "sure shouldn't be a problem. Come on Akane. If you can speak his language you can translate for me."

Dante waves his hand towards the man waiting for Akane to start that way, then quickly steps to get into stride with her.

"I have no qualms doing so." As Akane gets up and heads out of the plane to see what exactly Tiger needs. She does not pause to see if this Dante person follows or not.

Once outside she tries all her languages to say hello and if she gets a response she will continue on. If not she will cast a spell of tongues so she can communicate all the more easily. She first does a proper bow of Greetings. "Good day. My name is Akane and I have beckoned to ask if you know about a boy who can control electricity. If you can supply any form of information it would be much appreciated."

She waits to see what the response is.

[Dome]

Dante looks at the new girl as she just goes on. Shrugging he guesses she was going to do the questioning. He decides to do what he does best and begins to try and see what the man is thinking while she questions him. Knowing he wont understand the words, he decides to look for images at the surface of his thoughts.

"Maybe," the man responds in an obscure aboriginal dialect. "You mean like an electrician?" In his mind, Dante reads: Unless they mean that strange boy.

[Dome]

Dante says, "ask him about the strange boy."

[sasqaricious]

"No not an electrician, but a person I guess capable of actually wielding electricity. Perhaps a strange boy that you have heard of or know?" Not knowing where Dante got that info. "If you could tell us we would be much obliged!!"

"I've heard about a boy who... does things. A hundred miles north of here is a river. I heard he works upstream. Backwoods." The man replies. He eyes the strangers a bit more carefully, trying to figure out what they want, but not quite sure he wants to know.

[sasqaricious]

Akane bows, "Thank-you very much. I do not suppose you heard of this boys name. If not that is of no concern but would be useful knowledge to have. And we if there is something we could do in return I will be happy to oblige!"

Once Tiger gets the information from Akane and Dante, she hands a stack of bills to the man for fuel and the team is soon airborne again. Tiger turns to Jeckle, "You want to run the sensory equipment and search for the kid, or are you going to start work on the tester? I can scan while Strongbow flies." She nods at Kris, "Stay sharp, we'll fly low and slow along the river. That should allow to pick up anything along the shoreline."

Akane returns to her seat and continues to sit back and relax. She knows she is not much help to the other two right now anyway.

Khris nodded and sat back in his seat, relaxing so he could focus his powers. " If they're there, I'll feel them."

Jeckle says little as she looks up from a mess of lines on paper. 'a power scanner? i could, but i think i compressed a motherboard to half size with a bit more room for expansions'

*her glasses are dark when they lower to look at Tiger. they clear up at a touch to the frame. 'sorry boss, busy with the various boards. i'll get right on the scanning'

'oh here. just point and shoot with the red button. green will spring it to full length and retract. yellow will give you one explosive charge. best i could do with my stuff Dante. enjoy' *she sets the 'tube' near him and keeps her attention on the screen .. reporting what she finds

Jeckle is able to detect the heat signature from a jeep a short distance from the river. The plane banks over the spot. All that can be seen out the windows is an old man next to a jeep. But it doesn't matter. Kris picks up the sense of a powerful meta somewhere below. Strongbow and Tiger land the plane on a nearby lake and Tiger hands out machettes for the short hike through the forest.

Dante turns down the machete. As he walks up to the edge of the jungle he smiles, "I've got my own." Extending his hand he concentrates for just a second as sword forms in his hand.
