The Three Demons

" Nothin personal, Akane." Khris said, not looking," But I've got eyes for only one woman, and I don't need temptation." He then smirked at Tiger," Unless she invites them. And if you remember, I didn't look when Patriot was changing either."

"Nothing personal taken. My goal was never to steal you away from your companion at all as I have never had time for companionship. I also have to admit I find the western concept of Modesty I have heard about a strange thing to understand as is it not all natural?" With that Akane sits down and decides to think on this thing she has heard of. But also now it makes sense after hearing that Jeckle girl comment on her skin. "Hmmm maybe there is a way I can help, but will need to research!" She whispers under her breath while sitting and thinking. She might know a spell that can help but she does not have access to the levels of magic needed to use them, so thought will have to be had.

Khris sputtered to himself, " They just keep getting stranger and stranger." He looked at what Jeckle had handed him. " So what's this, kiddo? "

Jeckle stirs and then opens an eye even as she lowers the glasses. staring at Khris for a moment, she closes the eye with 'we're not even off the ground. and that's a friend that owes me one. you can have 3 jugs. it's hella stronger than that stuff yer guzzling. knock you out flat if you gulp it .... '

*that said, she simply pushes the glasses up again and settles back into the chair with every intention of sleeping. 'he won't give them out to anyone. and i did call and let him know only 3 ... ' *yawn as she calms down and the breathing deepens as she drifts to sleep. those that know her realize she goes till she drops and sleeps like the deep. so any sleep she gets now will help later

Grins, "Sounds like moonshine."

[Strongbow]

"I could teach you how to use a bow, it would have longer ranger than any pistol, and is quieter. But if you are a close range fighter a bow is a long two handed weapon that can be in the way at hand to hand ranges. Unless you can make a psychic bow?"

"If you watch Tiger you'll notice that its easy for her to put away her pistols when she wants to use kung fu, but there are some ranged weapons that work both ways... you can throw an axe quite a ways, or a short spear. And they can be used in close too."

[Dome]

"Well you know," he says with a flirty smile as he steps toward her closing the space, "I am much better up close." He takes a step back still smiling, "when we have time, you can teach me. How to shoot. I could grab a few more swords I guess. They don't throw real well, but it could work. What I really need to do is practice these fireballs. It seems with my powers I continually gain new abilities, I can now shoot fireballs, need to practice my aim though."

"Actually a spear could work. Think we have any that collapse? Something I could carry at my waste under my coat. I already carry the collapsible night sticks in boot holsters."

Akane decides that seeing one went to sleep that the only other two to disturb right now is That Tiger person and the other one. Seeing they are not being intimate she goes over and asks, "Do you mind if I join you two?"

Flight to Australia

Once Strongbow and Dante arrive, Strongbow settles into the pilots chair, Tiger takes the co-pilots chair and the plane takes off for its long flight to Australia. Once airborne, Tiger has a brief conversation with Strongbow then moves back to give each member of the team their individual assignments.

She starts with Akane. "If you think any of the recruits are using magic, let me know privately. During the recruiting process it would wonderful if you could smile at the recruits, but I'd rather you didn't ask them questions. The kinds of things a Demon Queller might say to them aren't going to help us recruit. At certain points I may ask you to compete against a recruit in a challenge of manual dexterity. Go all out, and try to win."

"Later on, once we have recruits, I want you to guard them. Other organizations will also be recruiting and we don't want any of them to contact anyone who agrees to work for us. Also we don't want our recruits hurt doing anything stupid. Its possible the recruits will enjoy sparring with you. Easy enough."

Tiger finishes talking to Akane and finds Jeckle (or whenever Jeckle is awake). "When your not resting focus on manufacturing two more testers and let me know anything you think up in regards to the tester design. This is the prototype, so there will be improvements." Tiger hands Jeckle a piece of paper with a United Nations website. "The full sized developers conference meets on this site. I've acquired authorization for you under the name Jeckle. A sub-section will no doubt emerge to handle the tester sized version. Keep me updated with any material developments in either section and keep the site updated with anything you discover. Dante will assist you with the hands on work, and I can try to answer any questions that you have. If I'm busy with the recruiting and training process, you can send the questions to me as Tiger on the UN development website. I check it every day. I'm counting on you."

Once Tiger finishes giving Jeckle her assignment, she turns to Dante next. "Dante, while we search help Jeckle build two more testers. If you have any psychic powers to scan the recruits, use them. Once we have a recruit, teach them to meditate. The training may be quite intense. Assist Strongbow with minor healing of the recruits and trainers as necessary."

Then she turns to Kris. "While I'm talking to the recruits, watch our backs and see to it we aren't disturbed. There will be other organizations recruiting as well. Make them wait their turn. No need to kill them, but send a message all the same. Alert Dante and Akane if they need extra convincing. However, make sure you can watch the recruiting process. I expect you to tell me if they are truly powerful and give me any other assessment you find relevant. Once we have a recruit, keep tabs on them. Later, when we return to base, you'll be teaching them to hide."

Finally Tiger looks around the plane and says to everyone. "Everybody clear?" She sways a bit on her feet with the motion of the plane and puts her hand down on a nearby seat.

[Dome]

Dante nods, "that won't be a problem at all. A little telepathic mind probing should be easy to do. I can run some through some hand to hand testing as well. Seems one of my new abilities increases my hand to hand abilities giving significant advances. I tried it out with someone back at the base, cleaned his clock."

"Oh yeah, I can also help fly if you want, be a copilot anyway."

"Its a long flight," Tiger says to Dante. "Strongbow and I could use a co-pilot."

She smiles, "I look forward to seeing your new hand to hand skills in action."

[Dome]

Dante smirks, "you'll probably kick my ass Boss." He stands up, "I'm gonna go visit with Bel for a bit. Um...I mean Strongbow," he says with an embarrassed look. "I told her I would be her co-pilot for a bit."

He stops by Jeckle. "Hey Jeckle, I picked up this extending bow from the armory, I was hoping you could attach a blade to the end of it, maybe something retractable." He pulls a small bag form the over head and hands Jeckle the staff and the knife he picked up.

"Clear as a bell." She still sits in the area hoping for some discovery on people in the group. That is before she realizes that meeting people is not necessarily something she wants to do. So she heads back to her seat and decides if they want to meet her they will come over there.

[dakota]

" Do what I do best, watch your butt and keep us out of trouble." Khris grinned, " I should be able to handle that. Except the teaching part. You know how I feel about that."

Tiger shrugs, "Play hide and seek in the desert. You don't have to be a professor about it, these kids will be smart. If you play some games and show them some tricks, they'll learn. Concealment and detecting concealment are very useful. I need them to learn from the best."
