"And I can assure you I probably have nothing that would fit as an evening dress I believe you called it. The closest thing I would have is," she opens the bag and pulls out the outfit that is shown in her picture, "this! And I may not have ever been to an opera but somehow doubt that it is appropriate to wear."

Akane opens her bags and places all her belongings on the table they are at regardless if anyone makes a face or not. "Well this is all I own. If you think I need anything else I am open to suggestions. Also if I may impose it has been so long since I have washed anything in some time. If I can beg use of the facilities and such before we leave for this stuff we are going to do. It is no big either way as I am used to doing what I do the way I do it when I have time."

" Dealing with kids while giant robots are on a rampage..." Khris said before downing his glass. He stood enough to reach under the bar and grab two bottle of Jamison's. " I'll be needing more than one of these I think. I better go pack." He didn't bother hiding his depressed mood as he got up and started for the door. The mood had been there since the Korean incident, and wasn't showing signs of letting up.

Jeckle studies Tiger from behind the glasses. 'permission to bypass any evening gown soirees? i prefer not to expose my skin for other people's sakes. i'm sure they would rather watch the event than stare at me'

*she looks at Dante and nods even as she comments 'if you draw them down, i'll need to look at them once or twice. but i'll probably be good after that' *while she isn't saying some things, it's clear that she'll take the help she can before taking something totally apart to get the schematics into her own head.

*she ponders something, then shrugs it off. the still can stay buried and the moonshine can stay hidden for a rainy day. it hasn't operated for about 3 years, but the beverage has remained untapped. but her eyes follow Khris' exit and the sigh shows surrender to avoid him and not talk to him for a while.

'will need to talk to you later then Akane. you can give me a run down on how to fight demons .. never know when that could come in handy. might be able to make you some toys to try out ... '

Tiger grins at Jeckle, "There must be something you can wear. At some point we'll do something fun and I'm sure you can come up with a suitable outfit if you put your mind to it Jeckle."

Seeing Tiger seems to be busy speaking with the person he called Jeckle, Akane switches her focus to someone else that could help. "Dante is it. Perhaps if I could ask, if you could help me with your lady friend there pick out this thing called an evening gown for wearing to whatever it is. Also if you could show where I could wash these items as it has been so very long since I have been in an area with actual plumbing that you city folks live with. I will not deny though that it is such a luxury?" She looks at the two, realizing that they at least seem like friends or more then friends possibly. Although normal people and their emotions are such a confusing thing to deal with.

tag: Aiko. After the briefing Tiger takes Akane to a warehouse to equip her. "With your Kendo, and Strongbows's Way of the Horse and the Bow, and my Kung Fu, between us we'd make a good Samurai," Tiger says in Japanese. "We have most any conventional weapons, armor, clothing and martial arts gear you could want. So just ask." Tiger lays a box of bullets on the counter, "Armor piercing high explosive for your 44. Custom made." Then Tiger lays out a three part armor system. There are armored camoflage fatigues, an environmental suit to go over them, and an armored coat to be worn over both. The setup is surprisingly light, with great mobility. Finally Tiger brings out a katana. "L-6 Tool steel. Pretty much the only thing better than this is a magic blade. I'll order two. They'll be ready when we get back. In the meantime you can use mine. I use claws and revolvers in battle, not swords. Now lets see about dresses..." Tiger leaves the weapons section and returns with two dresses: a short, archetypal little black dress and a long dress with slits up both sides, an open back and a smooth front. Beside them she places a set of black heels and also some black leather sandals that lace up the calf. In English this time she says, "I'll measure you and make alterations on the way. Need anything else?"

"A Tux?" Dante's mind flashes to special events that he attended with his parents. That then brought up the memory of thier deaths. "Sorry boss, I'd prefer not to do formal if I can avoid it. So hard to hide my sword," he says trying to make it seem light hearted.

He begins going over in his mind the equipment he can bring when Akane addresses him. Surprised out of his thoughts he shakes his head visibly before saying, "huh? Oh, well I think you would want Strongbow to help you with that rather than me. I mean I don't really know what women would like to wear."

He turns and gives Bel a small shrug. He sends her a message, 'why is she asking me? Turning back to Akane. "I think there should be some washing facilities near your room. I guess Strongbow and I can show you where they are, we have to figure out what gear we're taking anyway," he says, making sure to include Bel in the plan. After all he isn't sure what kind of relationships he and Bel have yet, since it really just started, but is his first in a long time. He doesn't want to mess it up.

She turns to him her and speaks in Japanese which is so much easier for her then speaking in English. "Other then maybe a place to wash the stuff in my bag, no there is nothing else I need at this time." She does take the time to look over the stuff and just starts to toss them into her bag as she would anything else. That is until she realizes that the nice clothes probably should not travel with the rest of her soiled items until she has a chance to wash them. So with that she folds them nicely over her arm and accepts the Katana. "Many thanks I will make sure this one comes back when the ones you order arrive and that I will return them when I leave. If I do not have time to clean the items before I leave that is acceptable as well." After putting the rest of the stuff in her hands to carry.

"Well, if you won't wear a disguise I'll go myself if need be." She looks at Dante, as if she wants to say something, but she restrains herself. "Just bring the clothes and I'll let you beg off later if you decide you don't want to go. Deal?" She clearly wants to say more, but probably doesn't want to get into a discussion in front of the rest of the team.

Tiger turns her attention back to Akane and dismisses the rest of the team, "See you at the plane in an hour. I'll give you more details on your individual assignments then." She reaches out to Akane, "Lets get you dressed. I'm sure Strongbow and Dante have some packing to do, and since Dante is a man and Strongbow is a recent Omega Shield agent I'm guessing their knowledge of evening dresses here is quite limited."

After Akane asks her about washing facilities, Tiger shows her to a motel style room on the base where she can prepare for the mission, do laundry, wash , etc.

Dante nods at Tiger, " all right, I'll bring one."

When Tiger leads the new girl off, Dante sighs internally. He walks up to Strongbow, "so do you need help packing, or deciding which gear to bring?"

Akane is happy about the room loaned to do her laundry and as soon as she enters even if Tiger has not left she strips down and tosses her whole bag into the laundry. Emptying out the guns and swords and the likes first. Even if the items do not mix with the exception of the new clothes. "You can measure me now if you would like?" She pauses while waiting for Tiger to either do the measurements for her or leave.

Once she finishes she heads into the shower and turns it on scorching hot and cleans herself as quick as she can before coming out and waiting for her clothes to toss them in the dryer while getting dressed in the outfit picked she thinks to herself Why would anyone subject themselves to this type of experience. And what on earth should I pick to wear. I am totally no good at this. If it was not so cool in here I would just take both and go find someone that could help me with it. Screw it we will go with the short one as it seems the easiest to fight in.[/color] She then sighs as she looks at the footwear options and selects the black leather sandals.

She hides her disdain for the lack of comfort in this set of clothes and waits for her clothes including the duffel bag to dry. Once it is she stuffs everything in it and sets the last of the footwear in and the other black dress on top gently.

Strongbow nods to Dante, but when they leave the bar, she says, "Actually, I could use some help picking out a dress."

"I'm already packed. Tiger must be exhausted, I'll be flying the first leg for sure, so I'm been ready for a couple of days."

[Dome]

Dante smiles, "I think I should be able to offer my opinion. Tiger looked upset about me wanting to pass on the tux," he sighs while once again trying to suppress memories.

"It won't take me long to grab my gear, need to find a tux though. If you want I can be your copilot."
