The Three Demons

"I'll definitely have on the range first chance I get." Khris replied. "I really don't know where they go. One of the OS senior staff told me like it was my own pocket dimensional gun locker. Have a couple of knives, but I prefer the Colts," he motioned to the harness rig conataining his pair of Colt Pythons. " I have two more of them hidden away too, along with some heavier artillery."

He stood and watched the others work.

It is more than sixteen hours flying to Nepal, with one refueling stop. When she isn't flying or napping, Tiger makes her way to Jeckle and compliments the completed module and complete interface. "Good work Jeckle. I know this is frustrating stuff. Don't worry, there should be a few weeks to get two more of these up and running once we find our recruits. And Dante and I will be able to assist you more consistently once we are done searching." Tiger seems in good spirits, despite three names being crossed off of the list and nothing to show for it but a number. She says to Kris, Dante, Akane and Strongbow: "Pack for a hike in the low parts of the mountains. I doubt there will be roads."

Akane looks at her one bag of things turns to the rest. "OK. I am packed and ready!" With that she waits and observes while the rest of the people prepare to go. Just in case she pulls out the sword Tiger gave her in case there is anything to clear along the way!

'look for some spanish steel if you can. otherwise some good leaf springs will work ... can make some blades with those .. '

*she simply nods at the comments about her completed work and sets her alarm and settles into a seat to nap, for the next lot of work

Khris nodded, and went to pack his things. He knew Tiger's silence about what had happened in Japan would be a sore point until he finally got her to talk to him about it.

When the plane lands a short man who looks alot like a Sherpa is waiting on the small, grass airfield.

Tiger wakes Jeckle up and tells her, "You might have two or three days to work on the tester, but I'm taking the prototype - so if you need a sample to work you'll just have to make another interface and module. We'll need three units total. I'm taking Strongbow because we might need a medic. I don't expect trouble, but we are in the foothills of the mountains so better safe than sorry. If we aren't back in five or six days, round up a search party."

Tiger shoulders the other tester and a small satchel. "Let's hike."

The sherpa guide sets a brisk walking pace, considering everyone is carrying all the food they need for three or four days as well as any equipment.

Akane follows in the path behind the rest of the group taking up the rear for safety!

[Dome]

Dante looks over the papers Jeckle hands him for a second and he frowns and says, "Jeckle, I'm better with the actual hardware. Give me a working one and I could sketch out the entire schematics. Give me the schematics and I can try and duplicate the device. Success there may be a fifty fifty shot."

Tiger hands Dante the schematics.

Khris merely nodded as he followed up the path. He was quiet, an oddity for him, brought on both by the outcome of the last mission, and his uncomfort ableness having to wear the hiking boots. Even after the long flight, he was withdrawn though it helped to focus he focused on all of his abilities.

Tiger struggles to communicate with the guide. His accent is thick, and his english language skills are very poor. Tiger tries a couple languages, but it seems the only other language he knows is a Newari dialect. After a moment, Tiger shortens her stride to pace Kris. "He says we are going the right way. I think. But we are searching for someone, so we might need to take some side trails and use your powers to feel them out."

Jeckle smiles sweetly and takes back the schematics of the item she wanted help with, 'thanks.' *she shimply turns her back and moves to he work station and with a stretch sets the papers down and starts working with some tools she has and gets back to work on another piece from the drawings.

*she simply waves over the shoulder as they exit the plane and she remembers enough to go close the door and locks it from the inside. 'thanks for bloody nothing. give me a hand? .. hah. like that's gonna happen. so what can i build in the 6 days you're gone? oh right .. no ones gonna know your here. no witnesses, but i can't. gave my word to keep you sealed up'

door locked and all alone, Jeckle settles in for the long haul and gets to work. this time, target item under construction will be Circuit, and then the Regulator [3 days work] IF more building time exists will construct something else, but for now that will be it

Khris nodded,"Already got them fired up. Just tell me what you want done, Tiger." He replied in a professional manner, emphasized by him using her proper name.

Akane notices the difficulty that Tiger was having during the communication. She decides that if she hears Tiger try to do that again she will use her tongues spell on her. Meanwhile she takes a deep breathe and enjoys the fresh air of the outside.

Tiger looks for tracks in the trail, but most of what she sees seems meaningless to her. The team meanders through mountain passes, taking a few side trails then crossing back in a search pattern. Eventually, the Sherpa tries to question Tiger. When Akane uses the spell, Tiger has a rapid conversation in what feels like to him his native tongue. Then they continue on after a brief rest. No one senses anything and eventually the team stops for the night.
