Short answer: Maybe
Long Answer: Socrates, despite his questioning, is firmily indoctrinated in the superiority of the CS, etc. As such, Soc has little sense of superiority, being a dog boy and not human, and expects the kitties to behave the same way. Also, he would be very secure in Sam's leadership and expect Battlecats to do the same as well, even if it means coralling them., etc. etc. etc.
So, then, the question becomes: would the battlecats have a problem with Socrates?

Oh, was just thinking of a modified CA-5, say, for Dogboy instead of Juicer, with a FIWS, perhaps, in place of the pistol. And then just a standard CP-40 or CP-50...
