"On call 24/7? To be honest thats not something I usually do. What happens if you call and I am in the middle of something critical? I mean I have other clients, and um...responsibilities. What if I can't get away," Kendall asks thinking about Mei, but also thinking about the machine he built and will soon need to deploy.

"Any additional hours would be compensated accordingly." The producer said. "Trust me, Mr. Kendall, for what you will earn on this project, you will not need your cable clients. And the hours you'ld be expected here are fairly consistent. If we have to call you in, it would be overtime, and would be for unique problems, not out of some desire to keep you from home." His tone was professional, and somewhat encouraging, and was used to a money-and good-benefits (ie. more money)-solves-everything management style. He must have gotten this question a lot, really, and probably expected more. "Take a look at the contract first, before you worry about other work. I really wouldn't want to lose my lead telecomm over a mix-up of hours."

Mei still waits to see what happens with the producer, and is patient while doing it.

Mei is told that the producer is currently not in the office, but talking to the engineers. he would be back eventually. She can wait, or come back.

Mei decides that finding the producer would not be a bad thing, so off she goes to find him. Knowing where the engineers should be will save time.
Once there she will wait until any other discussion completes.

"Well I don't have anything else outstanding right now I guess. I'll take the job," As he says this he thinks about the whole saving the world thing he has coming but if he gets called at the same time, he will just have to make a choice.

"Perfect." The producer says. "As I mentioned before, the contract is with my admin. Read it over before you sign it." And he turns to head out, pausing. "Hello. You must be Mei. You have your papers, I see. How was your first workout? How was the coach?"

Kendall waits while Mei talks to the producer. Once done he says, "I need to go see his admin."

"Yes, I know." The producer says calmly as she mentioned her name. "I have everything on you in my office. But save that energy for the stage. But, if there's nothing else, I will be on my way."
Excusing himself - did he just spending longer looking at Kendall than Mei?! - he walked on down the hall.
At which point, Kendall brought up the desperate, horribly insurmountable craving to visit the administrator of this outfit...

"Your practice go ok Hun? They offered me a job for the rest of the show. I have to go sign some paper work. Care to join me," Kendall asks as he walks out of the production booth.

"That would be cool. Too much practice can cause other problems like injury or the likes." As such she will follow Peter but careful if producers or anyone is around, then decides to skip it and offers her hand to follow him.

"Was your partner nice? You two seemed to dance well together," Kendall says trying to fight down the jealousy he is feeling. When she offers her hand he visibly relaxes and takes it as they look for the admin office.
