Kendall locks up the apartment and then follows Mei out to the car. He can't help but walk slower and appraise her from behind as she walks to the car. He actually pauses and gets a goofy grin on his face.

Once at the car she unlocks the door and hops in and starts it up waiting for Peter to arrive.

Seeing her jump in the car, Kendall snaps out of his revelry. He hurries up and climbs into the passenger seat and says with an embarrassed smile, "um, yeah, ready to go."

Kendall climbs out of the car and waits for Mei to get out. He says, "hey, before we go in, um, I don't know how they would react to us dating. I don't want to get you in trouble. So if you don't want to tell them we are together, I understand," he says looking sad down at his feet.
