George Lucas rocks and I have only seen the first of the prequels and other than Jar-Jar (whom I hate) it's a pretty decent movie

Lucas lost my respect with the Phantom Menace. Mitocloriens indeed. I vote them Matrix guys cause the only thing that ruined them sequels was Keanu... and Trinity's death knoll (I laughed in the theatre the first time I seen it).

Okay, glad it wasn't the SNL producer. Still gotta stick with GL, even if the prequels are crap.

I've noticed the smaller scale work get good. Farscape and Firefly for instance was great. I like his work. Josh is a little different.
With Andromeda and Earth: Final conflict comming a very close second.

For TV, have to go with the guys responsible for the current Battlestar Galactica TV show, Ronald D. Moore and Company.
For Movies, I'm torn between Kubrick, Paul Verhoeven (ROBOCOP), and Andrew Niccol (GATTACA).

Robo cop was cool, Once T2 came out though....I have to say Robocop looked outdated.
