"Yes sir I will report to the section chief then!" She then turns and takes off to the section chiefs area in preparation for emergency repair duty. When she arrives she waits for her order of action.

"It's an entire fleet sir!" The officer bellows out as the view screens fill with the images of dozens, possibly hundreds of ships, ranging from the very large to the very small.

Balus swallowed hard and spoke lowly," I've got a bad feeling about this."

The officers on the command deck are going through their routines at rapid pace, as orders and information is relayed around by shouts and data head's up displays. Captain Roben seems calm in the face of all this.
The Strategic Operations Officer, a tall Seerman with cool blue eyes brings a printout to the command table. "Firing solutions for first volley have been input to fire control, Captain." The Ships Operations officer bellows from his terminal. "Reading 341 separate vessels sir!" The Captain looks over the printout and sighs. "Fire Control Officer, input in the firing solution provided by STRATO*. MISHO*, status?" The Mission Operations Officer is pouring over multiple readouts on his screens. "I'm getting broadwave broadcasts - I think it's communication. Trying to translate." "Better hurry, son. If they don't think we want to talk, they might think we want to fight." The captain says nonchalantly.
MISHO* - Mission Operations Officer STRATO* - Strategic Operations Officer
The Damage control chief looks at Krystal. "We wait for breaches. here's hoping we don't have to."

The Mission Operations officer's eyes are as wide as a saucers. "I'm...wow, ok. Got it through Translation - You won't believe this sir." Roben says calmly. "Put it on, and let me be the judge." A holoimage appears of a fish like humanoid - the image distorts as bubbles seem to flow out. "Greetings ship. Request docking for purposes of contact." Roben smiles. "MISHO, send confirmation and acceptance. " He turns to Balus and Fuse. "Honor Guard Detail - port side airlock entrance. Go."
The chief below decks. "Change of plans - need a team at the portside airlock to dock with a ship - head there and lock it in."

" Yessir." Balus nodded and turned to the bridge exit. He was already enroute when he realized he should have waited for the Lieutenant and stopped to wait for Fuse. " Um, LT, does an honour guard require full dress uniform?"

"On my way!" Krystal says as she heads to the airlock to help along with this request. She tries to figure outif she is the best person to send or not but listens to the order none the less!
(OOC - My apologies was not sure if the Chief below was talking to me, I thought they were talking to the person above.)

" Um, LT, does an honour guard require full dress uniform?" "Sure does, Balus" Fuse grimaces "Man I would soon had to fight down the fleet" he adds with a laugh and smile, then heads to get ready _____________________________________________________ OOC Sorry for the long wait work has been hell, everyone is sick, on the other hand lost of OT

Fuse and Balus change into their dress uniforms, (as does Captain Roben) to arrive at the docking port as Krystal continues modifiying it for a connection with the aliens.
(Krystal, roll your mech Eng skills)
Captain Roben looks at Fuse and Balus. "let's be careful here, gentlemen - this could either go very well or very badly."

Balus grimaced as well. " I think I agree, sir." He headed to quarters and pulled on his dress uniform, grumbling the entire time. He checked himself in the mirror with a sigh," I look like that stupid recruiting poster they wanted to use me in." He picked up his uniform cap and headed for the airlock.
He was nervous , and the captain's warning didn't help matters any. " Um, sir, is just the two of us for an honour guard enough then?"

Kiadan quickly makes her way to C-Deck having gotten tied up in a complicated calculation. "I apologize Captain we had a break through which needed to be recorded for future reference," she indicates over her radio. "I am now upon C-Deck." She looks around at the speed others are operating. "It must be the fleet that has them working like maddened ants. I could solve their delay and improve reaction times," she thinks eying a being close to her. "Interrupt the fear reaction of adrenaline and the panicky over use of the drug... yes... it would work. Must select a candidate for re purposing later to test theories."
