"you seem to be the only with working braincells...I'm here to fix the time line and go home...If your serious...I would rather call this fight off. It's a waste time and energy." she looks at starlord directly.

Gambit waits just long enough to look like the staff was the only weapon he had. Well, technically, it was. But if he needed it, he knew even bolts and belt buckles would work. "Well, if it will move things along, alright." He says, handing his staff over.

Rocket Raccoon smiles. "Gods I love my work!" as he fires off his weapon

X-23, Sabretooth, Drax and Gamora cease fighting - it's like suddenly, they can't engage in any kind of combat - they don't remember how.

Martyr and Aura are unaffected however, Phyla is hit by the punch

and is about to respond with a sword strike when a hail of bullets knocks the sword out of her hands.

Starlord's guns are still smoking, and there's a hum as the balancing servos engage. "Next one is going to sting, Phyla. Stand down." She reluctantly does so. Starlord's faceplate retracts, revealing handsome human features (PB:14). "Peter Quill, at your service ma'am. " He smiles towards Blink, as Bug is still leering at her.

Starlord looks at Rocket Raccoon. "This is my second-in-command, Rocket Racoon. Rocky, what was that you hit them with again?"

Rocket Raccoon is inspecting his weapon. "Shi'ar pacifier cannon - targets muscle memory centers and aggression centers."

Starlord replies. "Non-lethal Shi'ar weaponry, almost seems like a oxymoron, doesn't it."

Rocket Raccoon waves a finger. "Actually, it was very lethal when they developed them for use against the Strontians, and they've phased them out of service since then - that makes this a collector's item."

Cosmo's mind-voice is clear in everyone's head "Let us be thankful for your materialistic addictions this day, Commerade Raccoon."

Jack shrugs at Gambit. "I'm the Rookie here - they haven't let me near any of the cool stuff."

Drax cuts in, clearly seething that he can't attack. "That's because we still can't believe you used to go around with a stereo that shot missiles."

The psi cannon has the thankful effect of shorting out Cal's telepathic link with Thanos, as Groot sets her down next to Starlord.

Thanos gets up, walking past Major Victory.

"Well, that was...embarrassing."

Starlord puts his guns away, but all of the Guardians keep a close eye on Thanos. "OK, now we need some clear explanations for what is going on. Start talking, and be as clear as possible."[rand=0240506503691290672411109631899873700685146618872944947828163071004914]
