Jeckle looks up at Dante. her mind is cloudy, very cloudy with scattered thoughts of formulas and unfinished bits and pieces that seem to slowly vanish as she becomes more .. 'alert' .
'just sleepy. i know enough *yawns and stretches* to go limp when i topple. *yawns again and blinks as she focuses on Dante's face* 'helps if you three stop moving about .. well two .. so i'm really sleepy or that fall was more than ... uhh .. 4 feet?'
'just wish i could dream and not sleep like i was dead. other than that .. i'm fine. started when the grafts did' *she slowly stands up and looks about before putting on her glasses to lean against the plane's ramp*
'sure .. find me a veggie peeler, a pie plate and a turntable and i could rig you something to pick up signals from space ... wont help if you can't speak the language tho ... '

Blurry eyes look about then the glasses lower to study Khris' face. the eyes show deep emotion before they are hidden away. they also show a growing awareness as she continues to wake up.
' .... right .. whatever .. i'll get right on it once my head get defuzzed .... '
*she pats herself then frowns as she studies her coat on the ground instead of being worn. 'oh right .. flying poop attack .. *sigh*'
*that said she reaches for a baggie that has sugary cereal and starts nibbling as she motions with a finger in the air about a few things. to the casual observer, she's doodling in the air with circles and lines. to those that have studied her at pre-work will realize its wiring or other things of note for her to cobble together

" Calm down Tigger," Khris replied, releasing his hold on her. " Once Jeckle has the uplink built, I'll be done on the computer between drink odrers. I owe her this. Besides, you know OS. They've got our next assignment waiting as soon as we get back."

Jeckle says little as she moves to some shade and pulls out a stick of gum and folds the wrapper carefully. setting this into a pocket she moves about with a last large yawn as she keeps her eyes on the ground.
*picking up a wire here and a tiny chunk of metal there and then a chuckle as she picks up some ocean washed colored glass. the last she stares at for a bit then shrugs and it goes into a different pocket. then moving to a shaded spot under a tree, she uses her coat's interior to be the footing of the creation.
she remains lost to the others for the next couple of hours . . .
[explains my lapse in posting .. still trying to get a link connected at the place i'm in now .... ]

Strongbow gets out of the plane and smiles at Dante, "Coronas and beach chairs? Or should we rent jet skis? I don't want to get between a tiger and her prey."

Just past the sandy beach there are several cabins, with run down weathered wood siding and thatched roofs. Beach chairs a bonfire pit and a simple charcoal grill sit outside each cabin. Inside are simple rope hammoks and little else. Tiger tells Kris, "Let me get changed and I'll show you a waterfall with a swimming hole. You'll like it,"she promises. As she talks she tosses her flight suit off and reaches for a black string bikini. Further up the beach the bar sells cases of beer and has a grocery aisle with nearly anything someone would want to grill: veggies for kabobs, beef, shrimp, all kinds of fish - looks like a fish market with fresh caught seafood. A well stocked liquor aisle is also available. And old man sits reading a book behind the counter, barely waving as Strongbow and Dante enter. Strongbow has changed into a simple once piece and a sari skirt. She is beautiful, though not petite like Tiger. Strongbow is both built and curvy,with an athletic build like a hockey player or rugby player.

Dante walks through the Isle of liquor, from time to time he picks up a bottle and puts it back after reading the label. He shifts his eyes from the alcohol to Stronbow and back. He didn't get time to know her much back on the island. Looking her over, he wouldn't mind a chance to do so now.
Picking up a bottle he looks it over and asks her, "do you want just Corona, or something harder? I'm not looking to get too tipsy, just relax."

"If we're going to take shots we should do that first right? Liquor before beer and all that?" Strongbow replies, looking around at the various alcohols.
"What goes with Corona? Lemon drops? Of course, we'll be here a few days I think, no harm in just drinking beer all day." Strongbow ponders as if she isn't quite sure. She glances and Dante to see what he thinks.

While Tiger was changing, Khris slipped into his bathing suit. He pulled off his tank top, but after a glance of his battle scarred reflection, routed into his duffle and pulled out fairly bright orange with green palm tree print Hawaiian shirtand slipped it on but left it unbuttoned. He then reached in his work pants pocket and pulled out Khamai's ring. he looked at it for a moment, then slipped it on his finger. despite what he said on the plane, he was having second thoughts about putting it away and hiding it.
While he waited, he stood in the cabin doorway, looking out over the beach while toying with the ring.

Dante doesn't catch Strongbow's look at first because he is studying her legs. He realizes after a moment she is talking to him and he looks up into her eyes, and smiles. He says, "you wanna do shots? Trying to get me drunk," mirth could be heard in his comment, "I usually don't drink alot, so I have no idea. I'll just follow your lead. Hey Strongbow, can I call you anything else besides Strongbow? I mean we're here on a break and all."

"No," Strongbow smiles mischieviously, "I wouldn't try to get you drunk. Since you've worked with Tiger before I just assumed you'd built up a tolerance. Beer it is!" After they finish shopping as they carry the beer back to the beach shack Strongbow says, "You can call me Bel. And what is your name when you don't go by Dante?"
