Sapphire will stay silent until the being answers the questions but she did move towards Master Tesla if not for safety because it is comfortable. Almost out of instinct she starts to give him a shoulder massage. She flinches instinctively after the first touch but if he does not draw away she continues on the massage taking care not to injure him considering her strength.

Tesla was a tad surprised but let Sapphire message..It was good for her to willing make some sort of physical contact. Consider what previous Ring wearers may have done...
"So Darryl...Who precisely do you work for again? What does the Vacine have to do with this? The thief is targeting it so I'm guessing it has something to do with it..." Tesla asked.
"I had a pet Pigeon once...Rather nice birds. I never liked snakes as a pet." he looks at Aki, "Also had a pet Ferret once...but London By-laws prevented me from keeping him."

Darrell blinks, "If the thief has the ability to time travel, I don't think you should ever assume that anyone is immune to betrayal. I might prove my worth today, and yet be compromised earlier if you understand my meaning."
"But if you're asking if I am the thief come to visit you... I am not." He smiled, "I teach part-time at a school of magic on a small island in the South Pacific. I also take on consulting jobs, like this one. So today, I work for you."
"Let's see." He reaches into thin air and draws out a six foot tall, ten foot long chalk board. "You were asking about time. Currently, I am also physically located at my home address, at least for the next hour." He draws an island with a palm tree on the chalk board. "If I were to call myself on the phone, I would answer. If your man here doesn't call me within the next hour, you'll find that my comments will change or shift in your minds, or perhaps there will be a blank spot that you can't quite remember. If I am never called at all, not even next week, etc then all of us would experience a sense of deja vu and all our memory of this encounter would be erased."
"My being here could throw my arrival off track, theoretically, but I'm experienced enough that it would take quite a bit to throw me off. For example if you were to tell myself that I am already here I would not be particularly surprised. It wouldn't change enough for any of us to realize it."
"I do age according to the time I've spent living, so my timeline proceeds linearly. However, I could go back and tell myself something which would cause me to 're-live' prior experiences in a different way and thus end up a different person. This has happened to me, but I can only proceed onward successfully if I remember to go back and give the same instructions after changing my future. Otherwise my timeline would change back to the way it was before the instructions."
"In other words, I could go back in time and have an arguement with my grandfather that might change me, but if I killed him then logically I would never travel there in the first place. That would create a 'unfinished loop' in my personal timeline. Everyone else's timeline would carry on, but I would keep travelling back in time and trying to kill my grandfather forever unless I failed on one of the tries."
"Now then, this might be quite a bit different than some other theories of time travel you've heard and thats to be expected. I travel through time using magic. There are other ways: technology, rift triangulation - though its easier to just learn the proper spell if you ask me, tesseract...."
"But we digress. Where were we... ah, yes. You said the thief targeted a vaccine. That would explain the shortages. Did he steal all of the doses at once, or did he move in stages?"
"Did he have assistants? How many did you see?" Darrell stands at the chalk board ready to take notes. He jots down: vaccine.

Dryzh was still trying to follow the conversation, but his limited grasp of the language, coupled with his even lesser understanding of what he knew of time travel caused him to wince as he clasped his hands over his head, semi-covering his bulbous red eyes. " All this confuse Dryzh. Make skull hurt worse than bar did."

Yumi has slipped out of the pack and is seen sniffing the hem of the bathrobe. she's checking his scent. once satisfied, she prowls about looking for things to 'kill'. not finding anything, she returns to sit up and watch the hand with the chalk.
Aki listens, for some reason understanding the words. the amount of words is too much for her to digest and turns about on the chair.
Aki finally speaks up at the end, having gotted lost with the words. 'smell flower stink of female not there was there. was called ,, La .. ' *looks at the others to explain the flower scent from before

Allan realized Dryzh would still be confused, and cast Tongues on him, too.
"Yes, we suspect a woman was involved. NOt the nun, but someone else. She had a perfume like lavender or something similar." He looked to Aki to make sure the word was right.

"We're not certain if all the vaccine was stolen. My guess is that Torchwood has spares hidden away. But stages..since it was not kept all in place, I would think." Tesla answered.
"He means he's in two places at once. and if he meets himself it could be troublesome." Tesla grinned at Dryhz.."Time travel is no simple matter, Magic aside, Let's stay focused on the mission. We need to stop that thief or atleast find why he's taking the Vaccine."

Sapphire still giving her master a massage leans over and whispers in his ear. "Master Tesla if there is more of this vaccine why not simply bring some here so we can try to set a trap. It seems they are only partially against hurting us permanently so if we store it somewhere really difficult to get it maybe we can talk to them."
She stops for a moment and thinks. Then as if coming up with an idea she leans back to continue whispering. "Could it be possible that there is actually something wrong with the vaccine. I mean they do not seem to be wanting it to be distributed. Maybe the whole reason is it is tainted or altered to um, hurt the people."
She hopes she has not overstepped her boundries, but by whispering it to him only she hopes if she is even a smidgen correct that it will help him. Maybe that is why all those people in the future were altered. Maybe it was not simple enhancement, maybe there were other underlying reasons.

Darrell writes a few notes on the chalkboard. His list now looks like this:
[glow=red,2,300]vaccine woman ally, not seen lavender perfume series of heists didn't kill[/glow]
And he also starts a short list in another corner titled "Others" where he writes the word:[glow=red,2,300] nun.[/glow]

"Not a bad plan..A trap." he looked at Sapphire, "This thief may be under the belief he's doing good,he might be easily led into a trap. If can we ID the thief then get a list of his allies we should have a decent chance to ID her." Tesla commented.
"Lavander perfume should be at the site as he gets there. Once he is we contain him..that will be the tricky part. and this time we should be better prepared." he said thoughtfully.

Darrell looks back over his shoulder at Tesla and Sapphire, "If he stole the vaccine in stages someone must have tried to stop him already. How did it go?"
He turns back towards the chalkboard and stares at what is written there. "It is possible to trap a time traveller of course, pretty standard really. But you'll still need to do some tracking or you'll be vulnerable to sentries."

"He tried with us at least twice." Allan said. "No-one died the second time with us. I suspect he is averse to people dieing... at least when he is in the act of stealing."
"And, I think they mean for him to come to us. BUt, this one seems able to tweak things on an hour-by-hour basis. Very hard core about getting what he wants, and pinpointing where to succeed."

"Yes," Darrell said. "He almost certainly has assistants who can also time travel then."
"Placing sentries is a fairly normal practice unless the time traveller is too paranoid to trust anyone. It doesn't matter if the mission is research oriented, crime fighting or theft, a sentry adds a measure of security and flexiblity to the operation. Even if he doesn't have any apprentices he can just give a minion a scroll and have them wait in a safe house a certain amount of time. If he doesn't come back they do some research and then go back to the mission start point to warn him exactly what went wrong. And of course if any time travelling minions live, they show up and give a first hand account."
"In order to successfully trap such a person, you track them for a while, observing and find out where and when the sentry will be. Once you know that, you spring a trap or ambush on the main group and take them all down at once."
"You can also score small or temporary victories, normally by using your own sentry. For example, if both sides can re-start an encounter at will, he might decide to cut his losses if repeated attempts fail - especially if some of the attempts result in loss of life."
"Or he might go back and never show up at all if it becomes clear that he cannot win in a particular scenario. But winning decisively against a time traveller can be difficult...."
"Do we have any other information? And details that might make tracking him down easier? Like the perfume - that might help."

Aki pipes up as Yuki comes back covered in dustbunnies from poking about under a low object.
'he makes people stop moving. made me sleep when i did not wish. maybe is way to strike back after threatened? i tried to hit with .. that' *points to a vent covering.
'spook herd of 'Deer', most warn and bolt. is known that sometimes one will strike first before .. flight. this is him?'
*she lowers an arn and the creature scrambles up and chitters before dropping into the pack to poke about then out to peer at yje others
[those with the spell activated will here ~many smells. old smells dirty lair. hungry. hunt snake?~ [Yuki's comments are that of a female child tone]
Aki looks at the man again and ponders before speaking again 'female trail start in hallway .. go into room then vanish. and smell not right for place. smell outdoor not boring no sky place'
*that said she stands up and moves to a window and watches the birds flying

Remembering that master Tesla said she could share her information with others of the group. "There was also that necklace I took off of him that was filled with magic. He really wanted it back and it disappeared and I have no idea where it went. I am not sure if that is any help though?" As he has not asked her to stop she is still massaging the neck and shoulders of her master.
"Perhaps we are also looking at this wrong. Maybe if it is possible to track the medicine to where it is being taken. I may have an idea but I do not know if it would work?"
