Aki frowns briefly then diverts her attention from the general debriefing them to look at Allen. still frowning she looks at her feet then tilts the head and scratches at it.
'who is making me little? already small. why make smaller?'
*after frowning and trying to understand it a bit more, which she can't at the moment, she simply shrugs and returns her attention to the Man .. before realizing she probably is speaking something he can't understand either

Aki turns in her seat to study Dryzh. its clear that she understands his words finally as she blushes then sputters 'i am not wishing to be baby .. mother to baby. still small. not being .. impressed with his .. .. looks? .. ways of moving'

Aki looks at the captain and then asks. 'you have something take words here .. to .. <Korean> to being heard here so i can understand what they are saying? their words really confuse me at times

Sapphire notices that her master has been staying silent during this entire event and is wondering what he is thinking. Then speaks to Aki. "I am sorry I am unsure what you are saying. That probably means I need to recharge a bit so I can cast my spells so I can understand you." With that barring preventative measures by her master she gets up and walks to the closest power outlet and puts her finger in to absorb some energy to replenish her PPE. She will chat with whoever comes along and talks to her. She is still much a nervous person around the rest but is willing to share knowledge.
She actually decides to take the initiative. "So Miss. Aki, if it ok for me to ask, who is your little friend or tell me a little bit about yourself. But only if you want too."

Aki hearing words directed at her, in a language that's familiar smiles at Saphire. <Korean> 'She is Yumi. she is fierce hunter of snakes. Mongoose by your words. she is like .. family? she came to me while little, we travel together. she teaches me i teach her. we travel together, we hunt together, she protects me, i protect her'
*she looks at the others as they discuss and turns back 'i am not smart in ways like them. we know the air like animals. know when it is safe or not for travel. Yuki is wanting to hunt snakes now, but can wait a while longer.

Feeling mildly guilty for not letting her master hear the conversation and casts tongues on him as well.
"Cool, and a mongoose. That is what that, no I mean she is and her name is Yumi. I am sorry it is a little weird for me as I have never been much allowed much around animals that were not for sacrifice for my original master. Actually I remember this one time, after around my thousandth birthday he actually got me a...." Speaking in Korean still to Aki but refraining all of a sudden. "Never mind, that was a very sad point in my life.
"So I guess that makes you a tracking like person. OH an I know she seems not to like me too much but do you think I could pet her?" She looks at Aki holding out her hand, looking mildly afraid but will not make a move until she decides if she can or not.

A tall man greying blonde hair strode into the room. He was dressed in a blue bathrobe over grey flannel pajamas, and he had on comfortable looking leather moccasins.
"Hello," he said by way of greeting. The man in charge of the briefing simply stared at him.
"Who are you?" He demanded of the intruder.
"Call me Darrell. You decide to call me in about an hour. You said to arrive as soon as possible. Arriving before this meeting would have been tremendously confusing, so I decided this was early enough." He held up a guest security pass. "It wasn't activated yet, but I dropped your name and they opened the secret bookshelf anyway."
Darrell walked over to a desk and sat on it, producing a streaming cup of coffee from his bathrobe pocket.
"So, you are trying to track a time traveller eh? What have you got to go on so far?"

Dryzh was taking everything in unsure if he should be involved in the speaking. mostly, he was just glad his head was clear now.

"Ah, that bookshelf." Allan said, sitting back again. "Still using that Copperfield book?"
After all this, he cast Tongues on Aki so she'll be able to follow the conversations.
"Alright, I have questions for our new hire." Allan spoke up, after a second. "If it's OK."
(If allowed:)
"One, are you the thief? Just checking."
"Two, is time a more-or-less rigid line that you travel back and forth on, or something bigger like 5th or 6th dimensions?"
"Three, that being said, is time still linear for you, specifically?"
"Fourth, with time being linear for you, and non-linear for those around you, is it then possible to act in our future and your past to affect your future down the line - as with, for example, your being summon here - or will that bring about a paradox? Or, will what have happened in your future be rigid in the path of the universe, not interfering to undo what act we would have done to you in your past, and so not deviating our past?" Allan paused on this one, looking at his fingers, seeming to count things off. Looking up after a second, he says, "Yeah."
He was very curious about all this. He had travelled laterally across dimensions, with time sometimes being a factor. But only very rarely deliberately backwards and forwards.
